If your looking for cheap but decent welder I have an everlast inverter stick welder that’s been solid for me. It’s paid for itself with the repairs and projects I’ve done. I haven’t tried their mig machines.

I just got the Eastwood mp140i. Works great for exhaust tubing, brackets, etc. First gas shielded welder I’ve bought, and for only $500, I love it!

I would recommend you get the BimmerBrakes V3 catless headers when you decide to throw some headers on it. I have those headers plus a muffler delete like this and it sounds godly. Awesome build Joel, excited to see this build progress!

Yo Joel when you're cutting the exhaust piping at 4:50 I've found that what helps me the most with the sawzall is to keep the piping as close to the machine as possible, you don't want to be cutting the pipe with the tip of the blade. This let's you use the butt of the machine to absorb some of the shaking and give you a more stable cut

I would delete the stock resonators and weld in some drone delete resonators. Did that on an E39 525i and it sounds good with little drone.

Buy a titanium 200 from harbor freight I weld every single day with it. Exhaust, diffs. Everything

Push weld puddles, dont pull thats usually reserved for stick welding exclusively

your rear tires are on backwards (rotating the wrong way)

Is that galvanized steel? That’s terrible!!

Next time, just grind off any coating on aluminized steel, or any coated steel. It cleans the steel as well, and promotes a better weld.
