Info in regards to free downloads! FAQ 1 - I clicked on the files and nothing happened. Solution 1: Please check your downloads folder. The files went straight there. Solution 2: The page with the image opened up in a new window waiting for you to "Save As" to your folder of choice. FAQ 2 - I can't click on the image. Solution: You probably have AdBlock turned on your computer. FIX: Right click on image you wish to download, then choose "Open link in New Tab". Now you should be able to right click and choose "Save As". FAQ 3 - What are the terms of use? Solution: There is a link at the top of the free downlaods section with information about copyright and terms of use. Happy crafting!

Thank you a million times for acknowledging that many of us craft on a very, VERY small budget. I live on SS alone and give away all the journals I make (Little Free Libraries and the local Senior Center, mostly), so I am always on the lookout for ways to get supplies that are free or low-cost. This idea is so magnificent for exactly that reason! Again, TFS!

You’re so welcome! Your comment made me very happy. I’m glad that the information was useful. As Bob Ross said: “All you need to paint is a few tools, a little instruction, and a vision in your mind.” I think the same applies to creating junk journals. Thank you so much for watching ❤️😊

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! “An artist must have his measuring tools not in the hand, but in the eye.”- Michelangelo It’s so true and it applies to making junk journals, too. Without the creative spark, the vision and the will to create no amount of fancy tools will make us artists.

These are beautiful, thanks for sharing them! I have made a few of these fun foam stamps, but I glue them to clear plastic packaging with Aleene’s Tacky Glue. I plan to try a hint I read on Yva Lovee Arts: to use Alene’s Tack it Over and Over glue around the center & edges of the design on the back side of the plastic. This takes up less room than cardboard/handles and will allow me to use my acrylic stamping block for more even pressure. If you have a single design, you could probably omit the plastic layer, but for a group (of circles, for instance), the plastic keeps them together in a set arrangement. Some of my favorite background stamps are just the leftover pieces cut in random shapes and glued to the plastic…really fun on the gelli plate too! Store them on plastic dividers in a binder. You can buy precut shapes of foam too, that you can add detail to with a pen. I hope to do some with my dies as well…so many ideas, too little time!

Thank you so much for watching and for all the useful tips you shared with me. I haven’t tried with the glue you suggested, can’t find it here in the shops but sounds like an awesome idea. I have been creating these with dies in the past and gluing them onto styrofoam with double sided tape. Used those on gelli and loved it. I think possibilities here are endless. 😊❤️

This video is another absolute treasure. These stamps are fun! 35:35 These prints are just stunning. I want to stamp on white napkins and decoupage wooden blocks my husband made for my grandkids. I like to keep my tools in organizers that I create myself. I am afraid after this video I will have to make much larger storage box then the one I currently have for diy stamps. Because I want to make many more now. Yes, craft foam can be purchased at dollars stores in the USA and Canada, in big bundles and assortment of colors. When I made my own stamps a while ago I did not use double-sided tape to glue the foam to the cardboard, I used Aleene's tacky glue and it worked very well. That glue is the only one I trust to be reasonably priced (here in Canada at least) and yet very reliable. That glue is good for foam-on-foam application as well. I produced stamps with two layers of thin strips of the foam. I banded and curved the strips to outline the shapes. My strips are wonky which I like because that makes unique fun stamps and later prints. But I never tried to make stamps with indentations like you showed. That is my next stop.

I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you for all the useful tips, about the glue and using two layers of foam. I love how organic and wonky these stamps look. So authentic compared to the generic store bought ones. I store my mine in a clear plastic container so that I can see them. I’ve been stamping on those napkin papers and I loved the look. Starched napkin paper has rough texture and when stamped with these, looks like it’s been painted on, rather than stamped. Love the effect. 😊❤️

Thank you for sharing this affordable very craft idea, I plan on trying to make these very soon, I have collected some stamps over the years, but it would be fun to make my own. I was thinking that eventually all of your hard work on those stamps, may start to weaken a good bit, being pressed onto those smaller ink pads, are there larger ones available for that?

I also have a question about the ink you are using here: 34:45 . How permanent is that? It will smear if touched with a moist hand? How about on textile? is there any permanent ink pad that works well on textiles and is resistant to water? Thank you very much again.

The ink I used for that segment is permanent ink, Ranger Archival Ink. It won’t smear when touched with moist hands. I don’t show it in the video, but I added coffee to it later on and the stamped images stayed the same. I use this ink on fabrics, too. After drying I usually heat-set it with hot iron. It’s permanent and it won’t disappear even after washing. 😊

Hi! I’ve just checked and it’s works ok. If you found the files and clicked on them, they might have went straight to your downloads folder. If you weren’t able to click the image at all, maybe you have AdBlock turned on. In that case please do the following: Right click on image then Open link in New Tab... That solves a problem with AdBlocker. Cheers ❤️

I love your take on this fun, enjoyable and oh so useful stamps alternative. Originally inspired by a Video from Noit Art about 5 years ago: kzread.info/dash/bejne/d5tqqqmklNjLp6w.html I have been making and using these types of stamps for years. Not only has ist been a world of fun, but the results have been so beautiful and satisfying. Thank you so much for bringing up this topic again and showing us your way of doing it.
