This is my goal at my church. I worked at a college and that is what we did at all five campuses. We used Vecoax HD modulator 4 channel. One was for digital signage, two were set to regular channels (Weather & History), and a spare multiuse channel. We did have regular cable service.

Ch40 OTA and Cable CH40 are not the same. You have to set the "Constellation" to 64QAM for cable and 8xxxx (can't recall) for OTA. They are entirely different frequencies. OTA ch40 is in the TV UHF band and cable 40 is not but rather on a frequency that only "TV cable tuners", or "table top tuners" can tune to.

This looks really great, thank you for doing a video on this! This sounds like a great way to distribute video across the church building. My church currently doesn't have any coax cable throughout so it would have to be added in. With the overall quality, would you prefer going this coax route, or using an SDI distributor or HDMI over Cat5/6? Also, was there any noticeable latency issues with the channels? Or was it pretty real time? Also lastly, I'd love to learn more about proper church networking and setting that all up. Do you have a video made on that and your Ubiquiti system?

Hey, there is latency compared to what is happening in the sanctuary so I wouldn't do this for a tv next to the sanctuary where the audio could be heard. I would do this over sdi only for cost of the cables and adapters and users only need to turn to a specific channel compared to changing inputs. Yes I did do a unifi networking tour of my church from last year i believe

Hi, was asking about watching from outside the building but didn't see your reply until video finished. So would there be a way to broadcast to TVs outside of the Church? Using other equipment needed.

I'm not sure but that would introduce the fcc for broadcasting. I still recommend fire stick or roku for KZread currently for this outside of church

Stumbled across this video. Trying to figure out a solution to get atem program feed to other tvs in the office. Does the petit do the broadcasting too? Or how does it get picked up by the other TVs in your church?

You will need to tie the coax output in the an existing coax network throughout the building or run coax to each tv. Then the signal will show up on the programmed digital channel on your tvs

Hey AJay is there a wireless hdmi transmitter you’d recommend that would plug into a dslr camera and then our atem mini pro?

How many TVs it can drive directly? Can it do 20 TVs directly from its rf out or will I need to install any amplifiers? Also how long the cable run can go?? You've got a new subscriber BTW!

It can support as many tvs connected. Amps are only needed for long cable runs from the source

It would appear that this doesn't have a signal quality drop over longer distance? Adding more TV's doesn't cause a reduced quality?

I am a follower of your channel and you are a wonderful resource. Could this device be used to send video and audio from a computer to send a Power Point for in service slides to perhaps 4 HD TV monitors ( 3 in the sanctuary and 1 in our narthex) via a CATV cable and splitters? Obviously this is on a church budget and trying to find the simplest solution.
