Just as a heads up, our schedule over the next few weeks will be a little bit inconsistent. Between school and other responsibilities, our recording times have been a bit more limited than normal. Our goal is to release a video every 10 days or so, and hopefully, we will be back to weekly games soon!

Hello! As an occasional Mairsil player I have to point out that there was a mistake in 17:57. If you have Mirror-Mad Phantasm caged under Mairsil and you would use it's ability, you will actually put all cards from your library (including shuffled Mairsil) into your graveyard, because the ability you used actually reads "1U: Mairsil the Pretender's owner shuffles it into his or her library. If that player does, he or she reveals cards from the top of that library until a card named MIRROR-MAD PHANTASM is revealed. The player puts that card onto the battlefield and all other cards revealed this way into his or her graveyard.", because the rules about replacing names in abilities only refer to self-referential ones like the first instance of the Phantasm in that ability - if you see 'cards named' or something like that, that's not changed. Since Mairsil doesn't gain caged card's name and the only copy of MMP is in exile, there's nothing to be found, so it will cause to reveal whole library and all cards revealed (which are not MMP) must be put into graveyard. Anyway, I really enjoyed your games!

Mairsil + Mirror-Mad Phantasm interaction was played incorrectly at 17:50. You flip cards until you reveal one named "Mirror-Mad Phantasm" not whatever you shuffled in with the ability. Because you only have one copy of MMP and it's in exile, you reveal your whole deck and it goes to the grave. Bill should have had no cards left in library, with Mairsil either ending up in command zone or graveyard.

@@magerehenk7579 Not quite. Whenever a card refers to itself by name, you treat it as though it says "this creature". But Mirror-Mad Phantasm doesn't refer to itself by name. It refers to "a card named Mirror-Mad Phantasm". Here are the Gatherer Ruilings: 9/22/2011 If no card named Mirror-Mad Phantasm is revealed (possibly because it was a card copying Mirror-Mad Phantasm or it was a token), all cards from that library will be put into their owner’s graveyard. 9/22/2011 If another creature (such as Necrotic Ooze) gains Mirror-Mad Phantasm’s activated ability, its owner reveals cards until they reveal a card named Mirror-Mad Phantasm.

@@magerehenk7579 There is an explicit ruling on MMP that says you're always looking for a card NAMED "Mirror-Mad Phantasm" when you flip. Correct, Mairsil + Mirror-Mad Phantasm does in fact mill the entire library. Most people who play Mirror Mad in their Mairsil deck try to win with a Lab Maniac or Thassa’s Oracle since they end up with no cards in the library after the ability is activated... it’s a confusing rule, and it was played incorrectly in this game

Thassa's Oracle has pretty much single-handedly ruined the fun of watching cEDH games. Not your fault you run it in pretty much all decks that support UB, it's cEDH after all and winning at all costs is within both the spirit and rules, but it's also not our fault for becoming bored with the format either. Blame the rules committee for not doing their job worth a shit.

I'm gonna get hate for this comment but idrc, you all realize they're playing "C" edh right? Why get upset when you see Thassa's oracle? Why would they not play the most popular win condition rn. Yes it's easy, yes it wins with a shit ton of cards but it seriously just shows how prepared you have to be in this format. If you know what's most likely gonna get played you need to play more interaction against it, angel's grace, counterspells, stifles, hushbringer, if you can remove the oracle then noxious revival something on top of the library. There's several ways to get around it but I understand interaction for it doesn't advance your own board state. People expecting cedh players not to play it is like expecting a sports team not to use their best player every game.
