There are possible ways to counter it One is to defeat grimore as quick as possible The other is to use an Asgard card to remove all souls from the item that gains souls As the spell requires 8 soul cards in a plague card Or use a mini geargod to destroy gauge You can use levantin to equip alot of items and then defeat grimore As you can only have 4 of the same card in your deck,he can only defend 4 times and you can defeat him instantaneously without him closing your flag You can also use art of item destroying to destroy the thing that gains souls If possible, add 50% of generic cards and 50% of your world So if he close your flag,you can use generic cards as those cards have no world and you can use them in any world...
