One can easily see how the stone of Marquesas would be unique by simply seeing how different and beautiful the mountains are there. Anyone with eyes can see how singular the geological formations are in the Marquesas, and such a thing can easily lend to similiarly wondrous statuary in the native culture. I'm a big fan of Tiki culture, having thrown a few epic Tiki parties myself. And, of course, we had a central, Tiki statuette at all of these events! Along with some firebrearhing with Everclear.
"I feel like there’s a lot of good stuff coming our way, everyday." "Love every day." That's the way to approach life! I sit here in suburbia, watching you guys, and trying to figure out how to bring that joy and that attitude into all facets of human life on this planet.
It is SO meaningful to me that I can watch your channel and have a reprieve from my everyday life. My life is quite interesting in its own way. My thing is understanding existence and spirituality. But I am not yet on KZread, and you guys are. Thank you for following your hearts and sharing something that is so very helpful for me in this, my time and place.

I love your relationships with the local peoples esp. the children. I believe the most valuable thing you can give is your time and you guys do it up big. You are gaining memories of sights yes, but friendships that will last forever like your artist tattoo guy. Keep it up please, I love your channel.

Wow THANK YOU!! We completely agree, it’s one thing to get to know an area, but to get to know it’s people, that’s what makes it for us!! CHEERS!
Of course, it isn't raining in the French Polynesia, it's moody. Which sounds like a joke until one takes into account how very beautiful those mountains are shrouded in clouds.
The beautiful views of Ua Pou are transformed into this exquisite episode as Warren chauffeurs Animal Cracker to the heights. Amazing interlude, including local art.

@@WEsail please be cautious about declaring the wonderful and continuous generosity of the people. There are those among the cruising community who might find it easy to take advantage of this fine trait. An incident in Rarotonga years ago… the best anchorage on the island was closed because some cruisers thought the mayor’s bananas should be theirs. You get the idea. You have been blessed to experience this kindness. I love and respect byour evolution as voyagers.
As always, great content!

…. Five minutes later… loved that little part. I really had hoped to see a close up of Warren’s new art. Glad it healed up quickly… it looks amazing. I’m not usually a tattoo person but yours (both of youse) look really good on ya. You two are really immersing yourselves in the local culture. That is the way to travel. Joseph is amazing. So cool you reconnected at the dance. Watching your episodes is like Christmas. Anticipation is half the fun. I save it until I have a quiet moment (or thirty) with a snack of mango and yoghurt, and a beer. I don’t want you withdrawing the beer offer so I may have to start dressing up too. Love Wednesdays! Even when I have to wait until Saturday to enjoy it. ❤️

Ya we have said the exact same thing!!
Did you guys share AwakenWithJP in your description?? If so, that's EPIC!!
When it’s always cloudy and blocking out mountains and hills it’s ‘claggy’. Hence when helicopter pilots can’t fly they tend to say it has ‘clagged in’. If you didn’t know it you’d assume they were talking about a bowel movement but who am I to question.

Any plans on getting a more performance orientated catamaran in the future?
@WEsail
Жыл бұрын
Hey Robert! Ya probably not, it would be so cool to fly and make better time, but all that comes at a cost… in this case you sacrifice space (comfort) and your wallet, cause that’s usually empty so no need for one anymore LOL

@@WEsail I don't have a cruising boat but want one. After looking around a lot, I found out about building my own to save money. I was looking at the Schionning Arrow 1360 called Duet and then I found Sailing Life on Jupiter's videos and fell in love with his Tim Mumby design. I almost pulled the trigger and ordered the plans and then Sailing Into Freedom posted a video of his new build from another one of Tim Mumby designs. Lightweight aluminum performance cruising sailing catamaran called Odisea Cattamarans or Odisea 48. It takes 30 to 40k USD to purchase the aluminum and about 5k to purchase the plans for the Cyber 48 or 50 that Tim Mumby first designed about 20 years ago but the new design will only be sold in a kit unless you have 750k for the factory to build it for you.
