The remote Po Lin Monastery, hidden away by lush mountains, became a popular attraction when the extraordinary Tian Tan Buddha statue (The Big Buddha) was erected in 1993. Sitting 34 metres high and facing north, this majestic bronze Buddha draws pilgrims from all over Asia. But it has became almost an empty scene in recent months due to the travel cut since Covid-19 hits the globe.
Opposite the statue, the Po Lin Monastery is one of Hong Kong’s most important Buddhist sanctums and has been dubbed ‘the Buddhist World in the South’. Home to many a devout monk, this monastery is rich with colourful manifestations of Buddhist iconography and its pleasant garden is alive with birdsong and flowery scents.

Buddha is love and compassion. That's why father of Indian Constitution Dr Ambedkar gave buddhism to his ppl.( Although their are Mauyran empire like King Ashok who send his daughter and son to spread buddhism to the world and great university like nalanda a center of great teaching all cuz of Buddha' s teaching ). He wrote Buddha and his dhamma and ask his ppl to seek for true dhamma. His qoute " Religion is for man, not man for religion . He believes in religion that teaches equality, fraternity, liberty, Buddha uniting us all bahujan to seek for true liberation. To break the shackles of caste system and it's identity of being lower caste.I'm really happy for our ppl ,they are confident, excelling in every field, getting education it's all cuz of mobilising through right Dhamma. It can also be described as the experience of a person who is born as a human being and comes to Nibbana by seeing the thoughts that arise in the mind of a person who seeks the reality or ultimate sincerity of his life. Man becomes entangled in endless misery due to the defilement of the defiled mind (greed, lust, thoughts descending through the magical nature with the 10 forces of evil) and from it the cycle of samsara. But if one enters the path of liberation from defilement rather than effort (the Noble Eightfold Path), he will finally enter the nature of the Buddha (Nirvana) free from his mind (Mara). One who realizes the duality of his mind expels all defilements and becomes one with the Vitharagi Buddha nature. It is like the Buddha entering the mind (the mind becomes enlightened). The same truth or Nirvana (Buddha) nature cannot be described in words because words are something of a worldly duality (black - white / up - down / have - no). A nature free from all extremes, to say the least, in extreme language. All that can be done here is to comment on what cannot be said using metaphors. It is also relatively understandable and incomprehensible to individuals. Taking the timeless Buddha Dharshana as a boat, one is determined to see the end of the invisible ocean called Sansare, and reaches the enlightened Amamaha Nibbana. It is like seeing the Buddha within oneself (making room for the Buddha to ascend to the heart - the defilement). From the Satara Satipattana, the one-way path, the mind will touch Nibbana by dissolving the mind in Nibbana. The one who follows the path of the Buddha by enlightening his mind, cools the whole universe with compassion, kindness, optimism and compassion by chanting the tone of the Buddha which flows free from mental contemplation. May we all be able to see such a miracle in ourselves! May this help to make your heart fit for the Buddhahood.
