Budapest, Hungary Walking Tour Part 1 - Central Pest (4k Ultra HD 60fps) - With Captions

Please also check our new channel: ‪@AdventureHunterTV‬
We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Budapest, Hungary on June 2019.
The capital city of Hungary, Budapest, was created through the unification of the separate historic towns of Buda, Pest and Óbuda in 1873. In this tour we explore Pest on the east bank of the Danube River. Pest is the younger part of the capital and it was the fastest growing city in the last decade of the 19th century.
Our guided walking tour is about 3 miles (4.8 km) long, starts at Hungarian Parliament, ends at Central Market Hall and covers most attractions and historic sites of Budapest Central Pest.

I became a Hungarian citizen by virtue of my ancestry. I also know how to speak the language to the B2 level. It is amazing how Hungarians accepted me as one of them without much of an effort from my side, besides my own genuine interest in Hungary. I can now safely say it is my county, too. And I am proud of it!

Having lived in the poorer, shabbier parts of the city for 20 years, it's easy to miss that Budapest is actually an incredibly beautiful place.

Ok, as a native Budapest born inhabitant saying You does a really great job. Visible you calibrated your moving to show the possible best scenes, so you must be checked the places before you started your walk. . Sorrowful in summer 2019 (according to the enviroment you would be here around august or september) was several big reconstruction project on the way in the Central Area: the main square (Vörösmarty) and the neighbouring squares was under reconstruction, same as the main exit square from the Parliament building. If you ask me I would suggest, you come on spring/summer in 2020, where all these projects finished. But anyway, the final result is really great: it was an absolute missing video on YT "Budapest Walking Tour", and thanks to you now this happened. So thank you very much again this great job, both parts of the city....

Was there around the same time, Buda (the old town on the Hill) is lovely but pretty small. Pest is easy to get around because of the way the main streets are laid out and theres some nice things to see. Really though, my favourite touristy things in Budapest are the Ruin Bars - fantastic quirky places to drink, listen to music and just wander round in the evenings.

I didn't see a description on the memorial in Liberty Park, the one with the suitcases, photos, etc. It is formally, the "Memorial to the victims of the German Occupation." I find it odd that it was not mentioned. Otherwise, a wonderful video tour.

I loved to watch this. But it makes me think: Artificial Intelligence will soon be able to find people in videos combining faces, the way a person moves, etc... There will be a time in which a simple search in something as accessible as Google will find every video on the Internet on which a person was captured. I can only imagine the amount of legal, emotional, etc problems (and opportunities) that will emerge from such a thing. For instance, people who died but didn't like to appear on their own videos, may appear 10x or more on other people captions... It may even be possible to make accurate 3D models of their bodies from random few-second shots found by an AI... It may seem far fetched today, but seeing the pace at which technology has been evolving, I would put my bet on 20 rather than 50 years before this happens, with first tentative systems starting to do rudimentary stuff within 10 years. Lets see what people say to this comment by 2040.
