Okay I know the this hits different thing has kinda become a bit of a meme but this ??? Genuinely hit different, there’s a deep deep bittersweet undertone to this entire video. Clearly it’s talking about Bucky’s recovery, but the clips aren’t in chronological order, recovery isn’t linear, especially one as hard as Bucky’s The first “isn’t it lovely” absolutely shattered my entire heart and soul, I gasped out loud that was so gorgeous The second one, when soldier was choking stark, broke something in me, I swear. Especially with the fact it follows up with the line “all alone” I love how dialogue heavy this one is !! It really suits the tone and makes everything hit That much harder I love when you do slower songs cause you always make something so suited to the story and the characters even though the source material is very Bang in your face really fast When he said my name is Bucky,,,,,, hold on man I need a minute I need a minute man I love that Sam had a part in this one as well!!! That last part? Mended my previously shattered soul, and the song had the audacity to say “welcome home”, as if I wasn’t already crying Okay that concludes my essay excuse me as I crank up your view count to about 600 000

Don’t mind me coming in again on the second watch ( and shit be hitting different the second time around) to say ??? That beginning is incredible, the blood splattered shield with Steve saying “it doesn’t have to end in a fight”, genuine poetic cinema, the parallels!!! Also around the middle when it’s talking about the trigger words and the song says “always in my headspace” absolutely SCREAMING You and I are going to have to have a word about my emotional stability cause you’re really going to town on it

"Why are you making such a big deal out of something that has nothing to do with you" I was so expecting the "and if he was wrong about you, then he was wrong about me" and I'm not sure if it made me sob harder because it wasn't included but just hung in the air like the unspoken, invisible, heavy guilt, the self doubt and self loathing that Bucky feels and suffered with silently, for years.

Don't mind me walking into a corner to cry for a little while. This one hit different, my friend.

Sebastian's acting as Bucky when Ayo was reciting the codes to activate the winter soldier was very impressive. I know I'm not the only one who cried with Bucky when Ayo said "You are free".

I feel like I just took a trip down the dark hallways of Bucky's mind, everything that is always playing in the background or just around the corner, it all feels so fragile and sad and bittersweet. I just want to give this man a hug...and some plums.

What an absolutely beautiful video. This character means so much to me and he's so very misunderstood. His brainwashing, his initial recovery in Wakanda have all been out of his control, despite him wanting to recover he still never had any choice but to go through pain to be someone free. Everything we saw during TFAWS was him finally taking back control, he decided to fight, he could have walked away but at his core he's always been a hero, someone with a heart of gold. Its why his brainwashing is so tragic, to be used and abused in such a way but still be a good person, it shows how strong he really is.

I absolutely love Bucky. He's been my favorite character for a while now. I just hate how much he's been through. So much torture, pain, confusion...it's rough. Sometimes I wish I could give him a big hug and tell him it's gonna be okay. He didn't deserve all of this. Sometimes I really get emotional when it comes to Bucky. Your edits are so high quality, and the songs are perfect for each character and their stories/struggles. I can tell you put Alot of effort into them. Keep it up! ❤️
