Dang, Ted and his camera crew sees farm raised hogs and a chick walking across the river by herself like she was lost in the last episode. Next they’re going to see big foot watch. Keep those wonderful videos coming guys. Big hunting fan here in Colorado.
Those hogs will go wild if no one claims them and put them in their hog pen, they will taste good when the snow flakes start falling. Big pork chops and bacon!!
Deer school has a good interface, easily accessed through the website with great content that goes in depth with the topics covered. On chapter 4 and impressed so far.
You guys are awesome another great video, I also wanted to thank you guys, I’ve been following the Chanel for the last few years and I killed my first archery buck here in Iowa over the weekend, I primarily have you guys and ole Ranch Fairy to thank for getting me into archery and showing us all how to get it done !! Thanks again guys keep up the great work and good luck on the next one 👍🏼
Yes! Been waiting for another one. I feel it’s taking a life time to get new videos.
Might regret not killing those hogs in 5 years

@@haydenh.2533 Because feral hogs are one of the most destructive creatures to ever inhabit the U.S. While those hogs seem mostly domestic farm animals, it won't take but one or two litters of them to become a full blown nuisance.

Yeah, acorn bacon is delicious.
Not crazy about hopping back and forth between hunts, but very genuine feeling sharing of the process!
These videos always keep me motivated to keep going out. Thanks boys🦾
Maybe that chick you saw last videos was looking for her pigs that got lose
Ted looks like Bam Bam walking with that club over his head
That was fun, thanks for taking us along. Good luck
Channel and quickly became one of my favorites, dedication is awesome. Y’all are living the dream.
Rest group of young hunters really know what your doing out there can't never wait for a new video
Always good to see day time movement. Tough part with a bunch a deer is blowing them out. I'm all in on the deer school. Great video! 👍🏹
Perfect video!! Im stuck in the october lull as we speak!
Those hogs were probably on the best acorns on those ridges. Warren Womack would be hunting right there, and would probably take home one of those hogs, and a nice buck!
This was the best timing ever i was just going through older episodes.lol
I love the hunt school section of the website that is a fantastic idea.
Local farmer better come get Wilbur before he gets an arrow through him!

Here in Texas if you can see any tags, markings etc on an animal it's considered private property. Doesn't matter where the animal is. Like tagged elk that get out of a high fence they are not legal. Even though there's no closed season on them here.

Nice sit, awesome footage. And Lets go Brandon!
My night time routine just got better! Thanks Guys!!
I have not had but a handful of good encounters with bucks recently. I would have ended up drilling that eight point that was in front of you guys. As usual awesome video. Good luck this year
Another awesome hunt guys! Thanks for sharing...
The deer school is awesome! You guys just keep bringing it👍🔥
Keep them coming awesome content as always !
What a video! If I’m not mistaken. Iowa DNR released info/ a law that any feral hogs seen by hunters to be dropped immediately no questions asked, no tag, no permission and call them right away. Clearly these aren’t feral hogs but either way. It’s interesting. I’m surprised you weren’t more surprised 😂 I wouldn’t have known what to think had I seen a few hogs in my public patch I hunt 😂
Sweet can't wait for the next one guys.
Tomorrow 🏹 . Supposed to be cold front coming in and been raining all day today. So tomorrow morning will be awesome 🤌🤝. Buckzilla better come by tomorrow ! Lol
I also gotta find me some of that "hot, fresh stuff!" Keep the content comin guys. Thanks for all you do
Love it just a matter of time before THP starts shooting bucks
I believe those would be considered Feral hogs even if they are escaped from a local farm. They are to be shot on site by Iowa regulations. That would have tasted better and deer. 😁

Not to mention it’s a state with large amounts of farming, and those things damage a field worse than bears sometime. Really a shame they didn’t shoot em

Definitely Weren't Feral Hogs but they do need to be considered Feral Hogs
Jake, You have better will power than I do. On public...I'd have slung one into that buck at 18 yards.
Hogs?! Wow that’s different!!! Good Vibes!
I know where that's at I saw a pig tracks back in the woods in the springtime when I was looking for antlers. Another time there was pigs loose in the front yard of that house across the street.
Love an alert telling me there’s a new THP video! I’m following along this year. Can’t wait to see you guys hunt Arkansas.

Are they hunting Arkansas this year?
There are 2 other packs of true feral in Iowa. Tama area and keokuk area. Hey been there since 04-05.
Went out with my 8 year old tonight now watching your vids
Wait for it wait for it DING !!!! Hunting public has posted
Man that one was a nice buck keep on hunting!!
Can you show us how Jake is attaching his sticks to his monster pack? I’m trying to do the same thing. Beast sticks. Thanks
Heck Ted I would be making some pork sausage, then call Smithfield and say thanks for the free pork 👍✌🏻🇺🇸
Wonder if that double girdle on the tree at 7:42 was for timber or habitat management. Either way someones doing some management.. good stuff.
I'd be putting corn out for those hogs and harvesting some pork when it gets cold!
Those beans are the 60 day variety I'd say with how short they are. The 90 day variety would be well over waist high and have a higher yield of pods. May be different their but in WKY thats how they are.
@thesouthernlife4061

Also depends on when they were able to get them in the ground as does with the strain of bean it is can't plant without rain they may have had to wait later than usual to plant
@christoon7848

@@thesouthernlife4061 usually the 60 day variety is used when someone plants wheat and it's been harvested semi early and only has time to the 60 day beans. That variety don't get as tall or produce as much as 90 day does
Totally of subject but what sent control do you folks use ? I just play wind myself don't use much for scent control other than dead down wind neutralizer.
G’day guys I truly love the enthusiasm of all of you guys 👍🇦🇺👍 love all your videos never miss one 👍 good luck for the future hunts guys 👍🇦🇺👍🍻cheers 🇦🇺👍🇦🇺
Jake is definitely afraid of heights! Lol he only hunting like 10ft off the ground
Where’s ur hair boy??? Keep at it brotha! Dang hogs? Deer school is badass!
Question about your setup when your saddle hunting. It looks like you guys generally take 3 sticks with you, do you use aiders or only hunt as high as the 3 sticks get you?
As far as figuring out how to get out with Deer around you there are a few things you can do-The best thing to do is wait until its completely and I mean completely dark where the deer cant see 10 yards in front of them and they will let you walk by them even up to 10 yards in some cases if they cant tell what you are- The other thing is coyote calls using your phone but it doesnt scare some deer away- Also when you successfully walk out pass deer and they are really close and dont spoke away it gives you a big advantage in future days bc they wont associate your smell with danger
Tame hogs yes but by now they have dropped a feral litter of probably 10 and by this time next year that litter will be dropping more. Those 2 hogs turn into 30+ in a couple years. I've seen around 100 hogs in one group in Louisiana and Killed 2 of them with Squirrel shot.
Are y'all not allergic to poison ivy or oak? Jake was set up all in it. I'd be in the hospital the next day.
I hope the DNR have been notified about those hogs!
Its important very important when you walk out in the complete dark with deer around you that you try to walk in the opposite direction of them on public if you can
Hunt Southern New jersey havnt seen a video from out near PA NJ notice you guys travel alot
So I need some comp THP merch. I caught poison oak watching yall set up!!!

How long does it usually take to set up in those portable stands
What brand are those climbing stix? I need a light weight set like those

That’s a big doe!
At the 11:00 mark of the video, Curl is wearing a West Jefferson NC hat! I am from Ashe County, and an avid bowhunter, what does the logo say on the hat. That hat looks vintage.
Just speaking from experience living in Louisiana, you better take the hogs out before they start multiplying like crazy. Before you know it, they’ll overrun everything and it’ll be a terrible experience. They’re a nuisance, trust us that know!!!

From Louisiana also, those 2 hogs will turn into 10 and that 10 can easily drop litters within 1 year and that could be pushing the number easily between 30 to 50. I've had 4 sows walk up to my stand all with litters of piglets over 10 each. It starts looking like the ground is moving with so many pigs.
Deer school is awesome info.
Its been really warm in Pennsylvania. Haven't seen much deer movement. What can i do different ?? Im not seeing deer where i usually do.

No 1 is....wait till the weather cools off....never get too worked up till after inline season ends.
What time are you guys getting out there ? 2pm?
man that was a good buck!
What kind of pack are you using Jake? I recognize the Predator pack of course, but what’s the rest of that rig?
I have been seeing bucks everywhere
Hopefully you called the local game and fish/DNR to let them know where you saw the hogs. even if they are just a local farmers they have a litter they can get outta hand quick.
what are those backpacks y’all use?
Now… I know that Jake is using a Grizzlystik Samurai but I wish that the arrow and broad head information was on the bow setup info.
I want to see more ground hunting
Man if those hogs are or become feral that place is in real trouble!
Which climbing sticks do you guys use?
Couple of coyote howls, then blows works for me leaving stand in dark.
I’m almost tagged out on Arkansas public land. I’m saving 1 buck tag for rifle season.
I am loving the video so much. I just got my saddle this year and love it. May I ask what sticks Your running.

Are hogs not in season in iowa?
Those look like Berkshire pigs. Some of the best pork out there. It would have been hard for me not to put an arrow through one.
I got a question what camera do you guys use?
Dang man...thought yall stuck one. That's what the thumbnail showed at least......
I need this thanks guys
Hogs? In iowa?
ted nice to see the face camo to break up toe face.
Get em boyz!!!!
Ted you better watch that "green face" you might offend some aliens in the future.lol.
Best channel ever
Those were definitely Not Feral Hogs LOL someone's Pigs either got out or let them out

It only takes a short time for them to become feral. Their offspring will definitely be a whole different critter.
Those are most definitely domestic pigs lol better hope farmer joe finds the herd soon. Probably would not have gotten away with walking up on ferals like that without a little excitement
I would have thought that you guys would've had a deer on the ground by now.
Thought the interns had to earn a tag, Ben had been hunting with his trad since season opened.
Neat how they weren’t feral yet.
Did the derecho hit your guys area?
Tips to walking in dried soybeans quietly ???
When y’all throw that bow and bow spec stuff up will u include broadhead type? I know what most of y’all use but can’t remember what jake is using this year. Y’all are the best
