Bucket is just a weird dude. I saw him play live and his live show was a trip. About 2/3 of the way through the show he brought out a bag and started handing out items from the bag to the audience. The items included a DVD of a lit fireplace, random action figures and other items that just made no sense as a rock concert souvenir. That said, I am so happy I got to see him play live. It was definitely worth it!!

  • @NatterNet

Oh cool, man! Yeah Bucket likes to hand out gifts at his shows and receive gifts too. There's a rumour that those gifts are possessions of his victims and that he's getting rid of evidence by giving them away to fans haha Awesome that you saw him live, definitely an amazing experience.

He just loves his fans. He likes to hand stuff out to his fans. I heard he's a really generous guitar player. He likes to meet his fans and receive stuff from em. I'd love to see him live sometime but he's into music for musics sake. He charges $2 for an album lol while everyone else charges out the tail. He's a nice guy. He's mentioned in an interview bout he needs prayers for health issues so tbh I think he's a Christian.

I love Buckethead's parents. His dad jamming out to his son's music is beautiful. Same with Bucket dedicating songs to his father. That kind of love and support given to each other is precious. I hope his parents are resting peacefully in paradise.

I can say that I remember his father Tom (aka "Coach Carrol"). Coach Carrol taught PE during the school day ... Funny memory, I always remember him for telling us freshmen to keep the locker room simple, that we dont need to bring 3 different soaps and deoderants in for different body parts (omitting the graphical demonstration that made it funny). Coach Carrol was a great guy.

He's found his way to express himself to make himself happy and able to share it with others. All the while hiding his personal life and social life. It's literally nobody's business even though we care about him and love him. He says more without words than all the other "outspoken" artists that are the head of popular culture. Our society is constructed to distract us on a daily basis with pretentiously crafting perfectly designed forms of 'popular art'. All of which are there to create a feeling of the need for consumerism. Thanks for sharing the vid. Love from Canada :)

Awesome video, it’s kind of sad that he has a rare heart disease that he can die any moment. :,( he is still the greatest guitarist and super humble. The only reason he does what he does is for the love of the music and style he has created for himself and he just wants to share that with the world. He is a true inspiration for all from beginner to expert guitarist

I mean yes its him. I mean he has never hidden anything but his face, he has said who is in multiple interviews and people who know him have said he is Brian Carrol, the mystery was started early on when he played with GnR and people wanted to speculate that he was really some famous guitarist playing under a hidden alter-ego. I think the bucket was just some kind of weird angle he came up with early on and it had the added benefit once he became well known of allowing himself to have a normal life without having to have people coming up to him all the time asking for autographs and shit.

The audio just disappeared @ 10:29! Buckethead's speaking voice sounds like a slightly stoned Napoleon Dynamite. It sounds like he really likes his anonymity, as he's probably very introverted and maybe a little shy, and prefers to control his social interactions, in part w/ the bucket & mask.
