Let’s not forget he turned Ozzy down on being his guitarist after Zack Wylde put focus into black label society. Ozzy wanted him to drop the outfit and go by his real name. Bucket refused, and said only his mother and father call him by his name. The man is an incredible musician, and has a backbone made of steel, for standing true to his own brand and identity. Refused to sell it out, and it being Ozzy, I’m sure some big bucks were involved in the deal to bring Buckethead in.

This is a damn kickass pike. The title track contains one of the greatest guitar solos I've ever heard, then there's a short groovy break and then we're given a heartful rock ballad only Buckethead could pull off, which shifts into ecstatic solo work again. And at the end, there is some blazing fast experimental guitar wizardry.

Who else has made musical comic books? No one!! Buckethead is my super hero! He is so unique. One of a kind! Now he's at issue #632! 🎉🎉🎉 Spiderman has #2000 issues total since 1962, but it has not been the same writer the entire time. Stan Lee had other writers take over. Buckethead is the sole writer of all his musical comic books. Does anyone else view the pikes this way? It's obvious to me with the pike/issue # tag in each left corner like every comic book has. Some folks write negative comments like "I havent been impressed lately with the mass # of pikes coming out." They obviously dont realize he is writing the stories in the style of musical comic books, then telling the stories via his guitar & even drawing the cover art. Which is just freqin genius & unique af!!! Most comic book writers have another artist do the art but Big B draws his own art as well. The Pikes are Mind Blowing. Screw the nay sayers!! I have been thoroughly impressed with each & every pike! I find myself looking forward to the next pike; the continuation of his next story! Keep em comin Big B!! Every note in every single pike is 🤌🏻 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 Buckethead is the Best Ever Ever!!! 🎸🫠❤ He's The BEE! 🐝 For him I'd take a knee! 🧎🏼‍♀️ ❤ [//]:^) ❤ 🎶🎵💬💢💥💢💬🎵🎶 ❤ ~Mandybot 🪣🤖

Not true, all of the pikes are programmed drums. *Dan Monti* is credited for programming the drums on the earlier albums (i.e. crime slunk scene, peppers ghost, etc.) but there isn't any mention of Dan on the later rapid fire pike releases. Either Dan still programs the drums, or he showed Bucket how to do it and he programs them himself now, which would make the most sense. Unless Dan lives in Buckethead's garage and doesn't sleep. Gets paid in bagel bites and Skittles to program drums 24/7. :P

I'll get flak for this but I think he needs to slow it down a bit. I love the pikes, obviously, but some of them are getting a bit repetitive, mainly the faster rockier ones. He does a simple C D E Minor chord progression and solos over it. Sometimes he will change the key but do a similar progression to change it up a bit. It's great, but hearing it in ten or so different pikes is starting to get a bit much. I think I'll be paying more attention to the slower pikes. Still love the Bucket.

That was fucking amazing. I just wish he would release a full length ep, already. Another pepper's ghost/decoding the tomb of bansheebot or something. None of the pikes compare to the greatness of those albums.
