Saw Jimi Hendrix Experience in1968 when I was 17. I have been a devoted listener and player of the guitar ever since (both acoustic and electric). I've seen many great guitarists live over the years. This man is in a class by himself. No comparisons to others would be fair. I can't believe I just discovered Buckethead a few days ago. This is not only the best guitar playing I've ever heard, this is the best MUSIC I've ever heard. So many comments on KZread that show how many folks have had their lives changed, and even their hearts healed, by this man's music. I just started exploring his recordings and already have been brought to tears by many of his songs.

Exactly same here --- seen / heard many greats but BH is in a class alone when it comes to overall creativity / top notch quality guitar ripping . I saw him live and he plays incredibly cleanly with hardly any mistakes and recreates the insanely hard studio solos note for note when he wants and improvises new interesting original riffs off the cuff as he feels like it as well . The show was great... just like Bucketheadland is supposed to be with TOYS and KUNG FU ! He's well trained musically too and it shows with the structure of his music, which is more complicated and pre-planned than I think most listeners might realize . His musical style is truly unique with so many excellent pikes he's tuned in to The Source for sure . His earlier stuff is extra fantastic I think try Population Override if you haven't already .

@@jimbeam1955 Agree about Population Override being fantastic, but I think the title should be Requiem for Humanity. The early album that I listen to the most is Electric Tears. Every song is brilliant, but my favorite (and the one that can make me weep) is All in the Waiting. If it's even possible, he's more expressive on acoustic guitar than electric. The way Sketches of Spain moves seamlessly from the acoustic intro to electric is nothing short of magic.

I am sure that even Buckethead is sad today with the passing of Eddie Van Halen. How about a little Nottingham Lace so soften the blow. Thank you Eddie. Thank you Bucket.

The Guitar god '' Buckethead ''
06:01 gives me thrills
There have been many great guitarist. Here's a short list of who I consider to be in the same group......Darrell Dimebag Abbott, Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Slash, Eddie Van Halen ...................I could list at least 40 more that are all on the same level. But none of them........and I mean NO ONE are on the same level as Buckethead. The Master. The G.O.A.T.
Buckethead =God
only a wise person can aquire this talent, the era of no mobiles, time to practice, impossible skill to obtain in this era unless your this gys son lmao, he is a god of the guitar written 3100 songs for movies like mortal combat he wrote sweet child of mine and the halloween songs list goes on
