On this episode we look at a big block equipped (385/Lima style) 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 drag car named Bucketabolts. The name is a funny homage to the legendary Ford Thunderbolt cars that took on and beat the equally legendary 426 Max Wedge Mopars in Super Stock that year.

The Lumina/Beretta & the Firebird appeared to be Pro Stock cars . . . meaning his ‘Super’ Stock Fairlane ‘Bolt ran pretty well. Drivetrain does seem a bit long-legged, evidenced by how well he kept up with that Lumina/Beretta towards the end of the pass.

Looks fantastic. Wondering if it's has the full fiberglass front end, or just a lift off fiberglass hood. Bumpers look like the stock metal ones which I would remove for fiberglass ones all to save weight. Otherwise, the car looks great. Sorry hearing about the engine issue.
