    If you use 1st gear with a soft footing you'll dig holes 1st gear produces too much wheel torque and the hydraulics are too fast. Use 2nd gear when loading the bucket. Wheel torque is easier to control and hydraulic speed is better matched.

    Maybe you just need to learn how to drive, i always use 1st gear when i load the bucket, i never dig holes.

    As they said in the video ADAPT engine rpm to prevent wheels from slipping. In other words don't keep the throttle mashed on the floor. I been working in very soft sand for 14 years and never had an issue using 1st gear. Running higher gears when digging runs higher risk of causing transmission and converter damage or premature wear.
