The media narrative is so ridiculous. Rick Stroud says Winston threw both games. 🤔 Oh really well funny how Rick Stroud conveniently leaves out Evans and Godwin didn't play the last two games. Also Matt Gay missed 3 FGs in regulation. That Falcons game should've NEVER went to OT. When the media talks about Winston they leave out important context to push a stupid narrative.

What kinda narrative is that? They had options when Brady came and they liked Winston at that point .... They released him and did not like him and they could not choose QBs cause no one wanted to go there except Brady. The media wanted Jamais to stay cause they thought it was their best option and with their bad team and oline Brady would not consider them and the only chance he would have to go to the playoffs would be if Brady joins KC, GB, SF, Indy, Titans or NO (looked like Brees was retirering) ... they basically listed teams where the QB can be carried, but forgot that Brady does not need to be carried but uplifts his teammates instead. No one seems to remember what actually happened as long as we spin our narrative long enough. Sometimes I am just pissed off about the selective amnesia fans and media has. The only thing the Bucs had were 2 recievers and a defense that seemed to be ok and with potential at the end of the season (consesus arround experts and fans before Brady was going there).

  • @MrLarryLessor

Bucs went 7-9 in 2019. And they already had a lot of pieces .... it took Brady to put it all together .... but it's not like Mahomes or Joe Burrow or maybe Aaron ROdgers or Russ Wilson could not have lifted that team to the Playoffs. Receivers AND Tight Ends: Already had Evans, Godwin, OJ Howard, Brate, Defense was huge - they already had JPP, Suh, Shaq Barrett, Devin White, Lavonte David..... that's a lot! 1 QB can make a huge difference in giving everyone confidence - making everyone play better.... but Brady is not the only QB who can do that. We just saw Joe Burrow do it this year.... Brady was in his prime from 2006 to 2013.... not once in those years did he win the Super Bowl: Like I said, plenty of other QBs can lift the team: Big Ben, Eli, Joe Flacco, Russ Wilson.... They all won during those years. The NFL has lot of elite talent - including young QBs who are taking over any void left by the retirees.

@Paul Johnson obviously you can't comprehend. He said they had a good defense and two good receivers before Brady got there. Brady brought Fournett, Gronk and AB. Plus, the drafted Wirfs and Winfield and brought in other players for Brady as well. Oh. I forgot about a competent kicker as well they brought in. So don't act like Tom Brady can turn grapes into wine because if he still could then he wouldn't have left New England or decided to retire this year. The narrative is so great for Tom Brady it's sickening.
