That's my GM! Love this guy and what he's done for our team for so many years now. He's down to Earth and understands what's important in the offseason, unlike some previous regimes.

Yep, and that's exactly where that chip on Jason's shoulder came from. When Rich asked him what he meant by the Bucs not getting attention or recognition, my mind went immediately to how so many of Tampa's players have been snubbed time and time again.

Yes, there are more shiny places in the NFL than "just Tampa". Cowboys, Rams, Giants, Eagles etc. get much more attention than the Bucs. Like last season a lot of people presumed that they would come out with 2-5 wins, not more.

Jason is the braintrust in Tampa. His Draft Expertise is unparalleled. And his ability to keep quality free agents is amazing. Mastering the Cap is so Important and no one is better at it. I am confident that Baker will be our starting QB for at least 3 more years. He deserves it and as Licht has said repeatedly, we are not REBUILDING. Keeping Baker makes that a reality.

Jason really is so wholesome for NFL GM standards and just in general. He’s true to his true north type self and that should be appreciated these days w/ the caliber of human beings that exist!

Tampa bay have a good culture especially since tom plAyed there they seem to have picked up the torch he carried and they seem to make their players feel wanted and cherished that counts for a lot as players and agents talk to each other and any talented player who feels out on a limb in their situation can now mention Tampa as a landing spot as tom Brady was prior to his bucs spell

All those Baker fangirl 🤡 that said Baker was going to take a home town discount because bucs were the only one to give him a chance were dead wrong. Bucs offered him 20 mil a year, his delusional side asked for 44 million a year 😂😂😂😂 Baker aunt worth no 30 plus million ESPECIALLY because of all the holes and depth they need in this TEAM game. And Baker can't carry a team like a Mahomes soooooooo. Let him go get over paid somewhere else. Draft a qb (Bo Nix, JJ McCarthy or Penix Jr ) and bring in Russell Wilson on a one year 2 million dollar deal. (He'll take that because he's getting 39 million from the Broncos) easiest division in football. And for all those Baker fangirls that said he'd take less money to stay.... 🤫🤫🤫🤐🤐 you don't know 💩💩
