Well, rock that shit hard, because come 1993 they'll be kicking your neon ass out in favor of dumpy, coffee stained flannel, alanis morissette and that lame ass MTV unplugged... I hated the grunge era. :/

I remember this commcial I loved it
Love the wierd animation. When I see this stuff the video of 'And She Was' from the Talking Heads comes to mind. It's so 80's!
0:24 Aw, come on.
The principal sounds like Baxter Stockmann.
terry gilliam called, and he wants his fair share of bubble tape.
Tried it once. My mouth became a chaotic river of saliva and even after a good 10-15 minutes, I still couldn't get it to evolve from that sugary, gritty stage to that nice middle stage where it's still sweet but can easily be used for bubbles. I should try it again soon cuz if this randomly crosses my mind on my deathbed I'll be unnerved.

You ate all 6 feet at once too, huh? Yeah, I did that many times as a kid. Still fun tho.

I think this commercial played on an infinite loop on Nickelodeon back in the day...
These Bubbletape commercials look exactly like the opening to You can't do that on Television. I wonder if they were made by the same person.
This is better than all the damn drug ads on TV now!
Literally one of the best commercial
Back before it had fucking aspartame in it!
The backgrounds are like theyre from Toejam & Earl in the elevators.
Angry old ladies are SCARY!
Wow, that ending seems so vivid in my mind
Just a strand from my 2 yo daycare Xmas we keep aside and all I can say in my head as I'm chewing it is 🗣️"For you. Not them!"
Ahh watching Nickelodeon this would always come on
Wow, I remembered the product's slogan, but forgot just how strange the animation was in these commercials. Reminds me of British stuff like Monty Python and Danger Mouse.
I can't staaaaaand Bubble Tape!
Only on youtube would I have to sit through a commercial to watch a commercial.
The bus driver looks like John Goodman in ladies' clothes.
this is such a classic!
I know it's not him,but the bus driver kind of looks like John Belushi in drag.
i cant STAAAAND bubble tape!
This must be that commercial Terry Gilliam directed?
No way Jose, 😂😂😂
Principal is Heisenberg
I'm on a nostalgia adventure. 😊
0:13 Nice way to avoid glamorization for bad drivers.
When I recited this commercial to my neighbor's kid, he claimed he didn't ride the bus and his father took him, so I said, "your dad can't drive." He ran out of the room shouting, "Dad! Dad! MrWhitman said you can't drive!"
I always went to summer camp in the 90s with my bubble tape. God how I miss those times.
0:02-0:06 If the principal smiles, his head might break?
I remember when Bubble Tape came in just a round red container when it frist came out.. :) i liked it better for some reason..

My brother has an original pink plastic bubble tape container, before the “cutter” was installed.
NO idea why I was thinking about this commercial...
I remember during Christmas in 2015, I was playing Minecraft story mode and eating bubble tape.
I loved these ads AND bubble tape! Good times!
I remember we were obsessed with these commercials when we were kids.
Thanks for the memories. ^^

Isn't that Tress MacNeille (the voice of Principle Skinner's mom) as the school bus driver?

Its understandable if your principle can't swim or rap. But if the man can't smile, then that is a major problem 0.o
@twistedtick Looking back on it now it's the very same style with a huge late 80's twist, I love it.
Why am I getting the feeling that the guys who did the 90s MTV bumpers did this commercial?

Damn, you wonder why I hate authority figures?
The narrator kinda sounds like plankton
1 person make funny noises.
I think the principal is Matt Frewer
Back when advertising was good
Oh my sweet God in Heaven. How could I forget.
IT'S AWESOME!
I'm eating the hubba bubba one right now and still trying to figure out if you can eat it or not, it just feels like I should
