Hi everyone! I know this isn't the typical video you're used to seeing on this channel, but Sawano has done it again! Today I watched Bubble, the new Netflix anime movie, and I liked it a lot. It has some really good, heartbreaking songs, besides how emotional and painful they sound if you've seen the movie.... Well, here's my attempt to clean them up into a great mix, hope you enjoy it! Thanks to Hiroyuki Sawano for sharing with us again new musical masterpieces. Thanks also to the whole team of the movie for their effort (some of the best names in the industry have participated here) and thanks to Netflix for continuing to bet on anime productions.

I love how Uta doesn’t have many lines but you can tell she loves him a lot. The way WIT studio expressed her love for him is amazing.

I feel so sorry for the people who never truly loved and cant feel what some people feel while watching this movie. This anime is literally magical on so many levels.

Truly breathtaking movie if you're a romantic that loves anime. The music and the animation, the expressions of the characters. It's such an uplifting movie, that's why it's so hard not to cry at times! If it touches you like that, or if any movie touches you like that, you know you found a good one.

Honestly I loved the story just as much as the visuals and music. Definitely in my top anime films :)))

I feel like this was WIT’s attempt to outdo themselves from Attack on Titan. They chose to do a polar opposite genre of anime. While the story isn’t necessarily the best, that’s not where WITs strengths lie. But their animation, choice in voice actors, and music is top tier. I’m happy that WIT was able to do their own passion projects after season 3 of AoT.

I agree that the story does not stand out as much as the animation, music and sound. This is particularly true on the first viewing. What I did find concerning the story is that it reads like a blend of what people are used to in both “Art Deco” and “action-adventure with a little romance” type stories. There are very artistry-centric things. There are also some action-centric things. Even teenage-like first romance is seen. Yet none of these take center stage to say, “this is what the movies is all about.” This movie is a blend of all three of these things. There is some open-endedness to the story. Some things are implied, and others seen but not fully answered. I personally found keeping my eye out for things that are repeated, for threads, kept my viewing experience of the story and the movie as a whole more enjoyable and comprehensible. Perhaps the primary journey I found emphasized in the story is Hibiki’s journey from being a loner to beginning to open up to be present with others, to rely on them, and see them as a valuable part of his life. He really comes out of his own bubble through the actions of and connection to a “bubble” being. Some things to keep an eye out for are the role of Hibiki’s headphones and his character development in the story, the unsaid things about Uta’s character through the original little mermaid fairy tale told in the movie, and parkour runs and actions that set up later conflict battles (like the lift Hibiki gets from the BB team leader with the orange hair. It gets used again in the final conflict arc). I also found it helpful that the little mermaid fairy tale parallels are very helpful, but to not treat the film as following the fairy tale to the T. The fairy tale is used to communicate things that could be difficult to communicate through something that is simple and familiar. Think of the fairy tale being used to make what is normally incomprehensible to humans or to our plane of existence and make them understandable to us through our own stories. Make sense? Bonus cool fact that colors the ending of the movie: look up the original little mermaid fairy tale. Part of the reason the little mermaid wanted to be human was to have an eternal soul that goes to heaven. Mermaids turn into sea foam and cease to exist when they die. But the little mermaid managed to continue exist after she turned into sea foam as a luminous and earthbound spirit, with the chance to earn her own eternal soul. It could be implied that whatever the Bubble things Uta is truly cease to exist when they “die.” However Uta lives on and has a chance to attain her own human or human-like existence in some way.

the story is amazing. its not fast paced and full of hype like typical movies, doesnt mean its not good! its just not your type. sometimes less is more, and everything has a reason for being there with some story and deeper meaning behind it. just as some people find shakespeare boring

While WIT is a great anime maker, it is not a good story maker. The picture is great, the movement of characters is great, the BGM is great, the performance of CV is great. But the story is hummmmmmm
