Bubbie Golf reacts to Tiger Woods' Greatest Shots of All Time

Спорт

Thank y'all for watching the video and hope y'all are having a blessed day! This video was mad fun to make and lemme know if you wanna see more videos like this. Also, I wanted to correct myself on one thing I said in the video, Earl Woods, Tiger's father, served in the Army not the Navy. Other than that I hope y'all enjoyed the video. Much Love!

Most people probably wouldn't agree, but that shot from the bunker behind the tree, getting it to ground fade right up next to the pin is still one of the sweetest shots I've ever seen. The only other competition where I think they get close to the 1 vs all situation you're talking about is Auto Racing... It's one vs all every week out there and I'd say as big as guys like Dale Earnhardt or Richard Petty were, no one's dominated that sport the way Tiger dominated Golf...

Awesome video Bubbie. Without doubt Tiger is the G.O.A.T. He sent fear into the rest of the field. As soon as his name popped onto the leaderboard on a Sunday, you knew he was going to win more often than not. The rest of the field crumbled as they knew they could not compete with a rampaging Tiger.

Ken Venturi once said (this was pre-Tiger, btw) that if anyone ever led the tour in both GIR and putting that "they'd never find him, he'd win everything." That's pretty much what Tiger did in 2000 - first in greens in reg, second in putting average (behind Brad Faxon). 9 wins iirc, 3 of those being majors.

Hey Bubbie, huge fan, but I have a quick question for you. If you needed a birdie on a par 5 to save your life, which golfers would you take to hit your drive, iron/wedge shots (including chips or bunkers), and putt. You can only pick one per category. Personally, I would take Rory on the driver, prime Jordan Spieth on the Iron/short game, and Tiger to putt. I'd be very interested to hear your take!

Love your enthusiasm for a Golf Icon, Tiger Woods. The man was simply amazing in his prime and I’m not going to bet against him for a comeback. Bubbie, you’re a really young guy and I 100% agree that Tiger is by far the greatest in YOUR brief lifetime. That said, some of us who watched Jack Nicholas play as well as Tiger might debate which of them is the greatest. Depending on what statistics you want to throw in or ignore there is a good argument for either. I personally think Jack would get the slight edge…..especially when you consider the technology that each enjoyed while in their prime years or even entire careers. However, Tiger may be the most exciting player who ever picked up a club….. but I think that is “in part” due to the crowds. The crowds pre-Tiger were reserved / quiet / more respectful towards everyone in the field. Post-Tiger the crowds have become more blue collar and are far more raucous which adds a level of excitement for the viewer. In either case, they both have played a major roll in the popularity of golf. Jack made it a far more popular sport (along with TV coverage) and Tiger ushered in a whole new generation of active amateur players. He kind of breathed new life into the sport. I feel privileged to have been here to watch both of their entire careers. Maybe I will be here a few more years to see Tiger finish his with a bang and perhaps end any debate. Loved the video and especially your enthusiasm.

The impact Tiger had on the game and still does even to this day is the main reason he's the GOAT, we will obviously never be able to accurately compare their skill because different tech/opponents/course lay outs. Tiger is a household name, Jack is just known among golf enthusiasts and some die hard sports trivia type people. Tiger did more for golf the other one thing.

Palmer made the game popular on TV. Nicklaus changed the game with his power like no one else ever did or has. Tiger was the most complete of them all in terms of not having a weakness, but Nicklaus was better at consistently playing to his (Jack's) strengths.
