Despite the funny and unserious demeanor, Jin is actually a very deep person. We rarely see this side of him on camera but when he speaks his words are always well-thought of and substantial. They say the members seek him for advice and also he is the frontman when they want to address issues and other serious topics to the company - just like how he addressed that controversy during the awards show. I love how his positive mindset and outlook at things influence the other members. Perhaps privately Suga and Jin confide in each other that’s why they both said they are like soulmates - even if they were to talk for hours they never run out of things to talk about. Their bond is very deep. BTS’ brotherhood is just incomparable.

What a thoughtful, powerful comment. I agree. I think Suga was attracted to seek out Jin 4 advice bc Jin def gives off the aura that he will keep confidences. U get that... when in public he nvr talks poorly of anyone. And when criticism is mentioned, he spins it to the positive side. Thats def 1 thing I luv abt all the hyungs - Suga, Jhope, Jin, RM - they are super closed-mouthed, steadfast, solid, good leaders. RM is such a good leader. Nothing but mad ❤ & respect for BTS.

I agree. Jins very thoughtful and damn intelligent person. If you look back, he's the one person who has elegantly and beautifully delivered hard truth in his speeches and lives. He called out the industry on manipulating numbers, he talked about the almost breakup, he talked about how they were not making money on a free/discounted concert they held. He delivers one-liners that make up all think, just like in harry Potter books that he loves.

What surprises me the most is not just the quality of communication from our Yoongi, but the amount! The old joke was that in his past life he was a rock, because he was so UNcommunicative. He's really grown up, and grown as a person. He's always been a silent powerhouse in the group, as their songwriter/producer, who only really spoke when he performed his rap portions of their songs. Now he's a leader in so many ways. He's accepted that role and truly embraced it.

As someone who's been army since 2015 i've always found him to be someone who usually talks a lot. He just went through hard times and for the stone reincarnation joke at that time, they were all very very tired constantly. Yoongi was mostly sleepy and grumpy sometimes, it just became a running joke when they got even busier, they probably had some insomnia too :( But he always said he always got along very well with older people when he chatted, he has always been an outstanding cm 👌 him and Jin have a real talent for it. But it is undeniable that today's Yoongi has become much better, even the members say it 💜 (it makes me so happy)

It’s great that yoongi’s communication skills are being highlighted throughout this show and more people are getting to see this side of him. I’m sure he has also improved a lot over the years as he has grown as a person and artist but it’s important to point out that yoongi has always been eloquent and well spoken. Often taking initiative in leading conversations during interviews or variety/radio shows, he has always been outspoken when he wants to be and often helped take a bit of the burden off namjoon’s shoulders esp during their rookie days. The members also often point out his great mc skills as seen in a lot of run episodes as well as his radio hosting and interviewing skills during his honey fm days. I’ve seen some armys being surprised when suchwita was announced saying he was the last person they expected to have a show like this which is crazy bc i would’ve put him #1 as the member to most likely have a talk show if you asked me before suchwita was a thing Also piggybacking off the other reply under here, the joke is about him being reborn as a stone in his next life not being a stone in his past life. That’s why tae said “yoongi you said you want to be a stone in your next life. Don’t worry. I’ll carry you with me and bring you to beautiful places”. 🥹 The same way the reason why yoongi jokes about being sleepy and feeling lethargic all the time is bc he’s always working hard and staying up all night working on music, the joke about wanting to be reborn as a stone is him expressing how tired he is esp with their busy schedule and lack of sleep, it has nothing to do with his communication skills or lack thereof

That stone joke was a reference to how much he doesn't like moving and would like to stay still only. He has always been a great speaker and communicator. But he does grew more eloquent and mature as time passed by.

Actually Jin is really deep and philosophical than you think. Members said Jin inside is Suga outside & Jin outside is Suga inside. Jin off camera is really very serious, calm, reserved,laid back & level headed person. It's hard to notice but Jin is a tsundere just like suga cold outside warm inside. That's why both of them get along so well. Both of them have more similarities in personality,food, being introverted, savagery & many more than having opposite personalities.He always have been a private person other than that he has always been the most sincere,authentic, genuine,honest & straight forward,pure good hearted, innocent person. He always compliments all members.He was always good in communication & conversation, especially dealing with really difficult,edgy topics of conversation with ease, eloquence and politeness.It's just people always notice & associate him with just his humor and nothing else. Hope people will realise who the real Jin is.

Yeah even Jimin said this in their 2018 vlive together, he revealed that Jin was actually someone hard to approach off camera at first and he was quiet and serious but warmed up and became more carefree later. Jin puts in an effort to make people happy by going against his quieter/more shy side, as he said- making others happy in return makes him happy so he keeps things light in public for that reason, but in actuality he's extremely intelligent and as Yoongi said, highly educated- and he has a large EQ as well, people just dont associate 'jokeful behavior' with those qualities for some reason, more people need to learn from Jin tbh

If I'm not wrong Jin was the member who knew the importance of communicating & asked everyone to open up & speak about their feelings when the group was newly formed. He told everyone that if we want to make this work we need to constantly talk about how we feel.

I think by the comments people can see that you are perhaps not seeing Jin in the same light as those of us that have been Army for a long time and perhaps over the years have observed him and his character and communication style. He came on this show knowing Yoongi would ask deep questions and he would not have done this type of show for anyone else but Yoongi, that is how much he loves and respects him. He is in actual fact as many have stated a very deep thinker and many of the meaningful things and directions BTS has gone can be attributed to him. He has been the main instigator of the group V lives, he was the one that developed the idea of ‘Love yourself’, Rm stated he got the idea to say to Army to use BTS to help them love themselves from Jin. Jin was responsible for JK staying in BTS and not going home, for Jimin being able to find happiness and not to starve himself. He saved Yoongi’s life when he was in a deep depressive state. RM relied on him to be beside him in interviews in case there were difficult questions as he was able to answer them intelligently and with eloquence. I only ever hear you say about how he takes life light hearted and lives for the present and teasing BTS is how he shows his love but there is so much more to him that you never seem to see yet you seem to see so much in the other members it actually makes me sad. In Korea he is known as the manner idol and the countries favourite son in Law. Other celebrities praise him for his wonderful kind gentle and caring nature, yet I think you only see his BTS persona. I hope that you will be able to get past that one day and see in Jin what the people in this comment section see in Jin and can be as praising to him as you did today with Yoongi. Though every word you said about Yoongi is true, but who do you think has been giving great advice the last few years and helped to bring this change about, yes, the man you seem to see as just a light hearted person. Just because he does not like to share the deeper side of himself in front of the camera does not mean he does not have one, for those of us who have watched him from the beginning and pay attention to his own music we see it. I thank for your review I always find them interesting and I don’t mean this as a criticism, just an observation, unfortunately Jin is a difficult one to understand as as he has an onscreen persona and an off screen persona. 💜k

Thanks for saying this, I recently found this channel and I went through so many videos just to see if they talk about Seokjin other than "funny guy" "older brother" but sadly did not. I understand initial reaction of seeing him as funny guy but if after watching so many interactions someone still sees him as funny brother, then I can't trust their judgements.

@@maxpbeaumont I replied to your comment six months ago but recently rewatched this clip and reread your reply to my post and decided to post something extra. Everything I say I could say is not a criticism of your analysis, but in actual fact I realise it is in a way and I apologise if it offends you. If you had not realised by reading the posts of this clip is that I am far from alone with my feelings. Judging on whose comments received a heart from you has helped me realise that what I am saying is unfortunately true. If the comment just praised Yoongi or praised him significantly it had a heart even though so many great comments were made. You only gave a couple of hearts to comments not over praising Jin, which I feel is very telling. You say that you went in depth in your Patreon and you are aware he can have more depth yet you failed to bring any of those comments out into your You Tube, which is the site with more viewership! Why when you go into so much depth about the other members did you not share these thoughts with your you tube viewers. Whether you realise it or not this clip came across as superficial in your analysis of this beloved member, and your constant high praises of the other members compared to your usual indifferent reaction to Jin makes us as BTS and Jin’s fans wonder if you consider him less important in the group! What I also wonder is that on his return in June when he will be the only member with fresh content, will you continue in the same vein. If you are going to analyse him and tell us he has matured in the military and you see a changes in him it will come across as insincere., as everyone who know him well have seen past his persona and witnessed his maturity. Yes he will have changed it would be impossible not to, but perhaps you should take this time until his discharge to review many of Jin’s clips to realise that unlike yourself most people find him an incredible human being and not just the funny guy persona he uses to make his members relax. I sincerely hope that any more analysis of Jin in the future you go into as much depth in your analysis as you do with the others Members for your You Tube viewership. I think during this time of his absence many of us have reviewed BTS content including Jin’s vast content over and over and which I think has helped us to understand then and him even more, maybe you should as well. I always watched your content but must admit I stopped after being so disappointed in this clip because I suppose it made me doubt you as an analyst. I will however watch any content you put out on Jin in the future again with curiosity. I apologise if you see this as negative but as an analyst I am sure you take everything on board and evaluate such comments. I am a retired nurse with higher education and years of experience in communicating with people of all ages and ethnicities and personalities and though I am not an expert like yourself I am a fairly good at seeing through people’s character and the way they communicate. I say this so that you do not I think of me as some obsessed solo fan. I would of course be writing a similar post if it was any member of BTS I thought you seemed indifferent to. As I see it perception is something that belongs to the beholder and as the many posts here reflect it is how we see it. As always I wish you all the best with your channel and good health and apologise once again if you feel this is too negative but I am only stating what I and many have perceived.

Seokjin is like water. He reads the energy of the room and adjust to it. He never contends or competes with anyone or anything, just flowing though his own life like water. It must be hard for him to express his deep emotions or it's just because he doesn't need to dwell on them. I don't know if you already know this, seokjin also said his favourite subject at uni was 'Philosophy of life and death'. I think it makes sense. You can tell that he is so wise but he likes to keep it light.

Seokjin has always been the grounding factor within BTS & those who have had the lucky opportunity to interview him have always offered similar opinions of his importance amongst the group. The “Beyond The Story” authors commentary note about Seokjin reminds me of similar words “Big Issue” writer Isak Choi shared of Seokjin BTS - “Jin has the most realistic and macroscopic view of the whole team.” BI - “Jin is a person who would seek a realistic solution…..” BTS - “…keeps the balance of the entire team by bringing the realistic external perspectives into the team.” BI - “…never gets lost…because the eldest member Jin is firmly holding the helm of reality.” Seokjin has always maintained this aspect about himself throughout his career & its heart warming to see experienced journalists/writers recognise it too.

Jin is extremely smart and witty, his eq is really high.

seokjin has a high EQ. most of the members are very deep and serious and as the oldest, he seems to aim for balance for them all. he's inspired the members to be optimistic and to learn how to take themselves and other issues lightly, and not beat themselves too much over everything. due to this, many people fail too see his deepness... but if you give attention and notice him, he's actually a deep thinker himself. albeit, a man who knows what he has to contribute, to make life easier in general... i really respect seokjin. and even as a 38-year-old woman, he still inspires me and there are things i was reminded of that are crucial in life that i've forgotten, just from watching him. yoongi and seokjin's dynamics is such a gift. 💜 and yeah, hobi... seokjin and hobi are my top two comfort figures in life... i miss them. omg. i'm getting emotional again. 😭 actually, jin is doing very well in the military. contrary to what he says about himself, he's a man who'd shine anywhere. 🥹

I feel like Jin is fine being vulnerable and having deep conversations, he just isn't as comfortable doing it on camera for the whole world to see. He's someone that made a conscious choice to speak about his deepest thoughts and feelings through music rather than in interviews or videos (check out Abyss, Tonight, Epiphany, and Awake), but even with that there are moments when he is very forthright with army about what he is feeling - I'm recalling his Astronaut live that he did where he spoke about how sad he felt that people online thought he wasn't going to enlist and how he felt sad about being the main topic of discussion in that regard for so long. And obviously, what he said during the MAMA speech and other examples. But for the most part, I don't think he's someone that shies away from deep conversations per se, he just doesn't necessarily like to deeply engage in those types of conversations on camera, but he did it here for Yoongi's show and he'll do it when it's necessary.

Yoongi is so happy now. It's like he finally handled his traumas and moved to a place of peace where he's discovering the joy of living a normal life which includes meeting people for discussions, exchange, traveling, having solos concerts, having fun with Army, acting lightly and freely without concern for his image. Everyone had seen the stern Yoongi of years ago who pretended to be unfazed by anything but was dragging himself through life with courage wrIting about it endlessly. How different he is now so alive and almost bubbly (kind of) I even think he's surprised of how fun life can be. 🎉

These two together are always interesting. As someone who struggled with anxiety and depression, Yoongi likely struggles with overthinking everything and probably really envies Jin's ability to let things go and think more freely. Also, I believe I read somewhere that Jin once talked Yoongi down from suicide or suicidal thoughts, so their relationship must be super special from their history.

I’m pretty sure the story of Jin talking Yoongi down from suicide is fake but with a seed of truth in that we know Yoongi has been on and off very depressed over the years and I have no doubts that he’s talked with Jin about it 💜

You're really right on the fact that yoongi encourages and supports Jim very much. I remember in bon voyage when yoongi has to leave in the middle because of an emergency and jin always say on the rest of the trip that "if yoongi was here, he would've support me" and also yoongi going fishing with jin cuz it makes him happy😢

There is a mutual respect and admiration between Jin and Suga.

Many ppl don't see Jin deep moments because it is subtle .....it also is display by the members. I.e. RM speech to army. It was something like. ."use me...use BTS to love yourself." That was inspired by his deep conversation with Jin. He also reveal he started to read a lot because of Jin.....when Tae try to flip the "pancake " thing in the show. Jk ask, what he flip (drop) it. JIN- then he flips it. He was very encouraging/supportive towards V. I felt this interview display his insightful thoughts... but it is subtle. It is clear these two has many conversations and Jin has help Yoongi with the insight. They have helped each other. I agree he does mask it and try to keep it "light". His deep introspective moments is subtle, in the soop & bon voyage. When it a different type of setting. In a sense, less "displayed" like an interview. He is a private person and is easily embarrassed when the attention is on him.

You were commenting on how Suga has become more confident. I have a theory that Suga was actually knocked off balance by the injury to his shoulder at the start of his career. He wax regularly in pain, and that can be very exhausting.it appears that since he had the shoulder surgery he has become so much happier and livelier.The flowering of Yoongi is a wonderful thing to witness. He always had his talent and his genius but now he appears to be enjoying it.

JIN's EQ is commendable & it's something I wanna learn & implement in my life. He is someone people can look upto & learn a lot from. The way he lives his life is the way I aspire to live mine. Not to let stress take over & just go with the flow You cannot control everything, so let it go

I respect Jin's positive mindset and desire not to focus on the past, but I also sometimes long to hear his point of view on deeper topics. I love how Yoongi drew that out of him, his evolution as a communicator and artist over the years has been incredibly rewarding to see. Thank you as always for your insight and enthusiasm!

I would say, Jin is very subtle about it. He does give his insight and thoughts about it but he does it so casually. I would argue that rather than having deep discussions or opinions, he would pose questions and examples that allow them to come to their own conclusions. He doesn't want to impose his way of thinking as he was always wary of the influence he can have on the younger members. One of the books that he read and enjoyed gives a glimpse about him: Miracles of the Namiya General Store.

Jin is very good at giving others space to share and develop their own conclusions, but I think he has a lot of depth, and sometimes I'm curious to hear more from him. I love any conversation, like this one, where he and his ideas are able to be the focus, and I felt that Yoongi did a great job making him feel comfortable.

His stage persona is someone that can deliver humor well and have a reliable presence to the team. The closest to him sharing his thoughts would be the Festa dinners or in the bon voyage moments or private 1-1 conversation with members.

Jin and his sense of humor always reminded me of my grandfather (that passed away a few months ago). He would always tease and playfully nitpick, and as a naturally sensitive person - it taught me not to take things too personally. He doesn't tend to talk about serious things by choice, he mentioned he prefers to make people laugh because it "selfishly" makes him feel good about himself. Even though he's a few years younger than me, I look up to Jin a lot and would love to have a drink with him someday 💜🥂

I do think we could look at this from another angle. Jin is well aware this is going to be broadcasted so he is still going to be mindful of what he says because he does not want to worry us/ ARMY. While we may not see that as often as some other members as you mentioned, he is a deep thinker despite what he says. This good head space he is in (or mindset) today would not have been possible without some serious deep reflection over the years. I have seen some of the stuff he said in their earlier years (thanks Army translators) and frankly was surprised by his worldview which at times seem at odds with the incredibly competitive industry he is in. That said, I am so so appreciative of Yoongi especially getting Jin to share more with us.

Totally agree with you; this mindset that he’s in wouldn’t be possible without some deep reflection on his end!

I was missing you Max. 1. Yoongi was always a confident guy. But what has changed is that him radiating his happiness more extensively than before. I've watched the older BTS content. There was that genuine smile and joy. It's just that his stress and pressure overshadowed it. 2. Jin. AHHHHHH I miss him and Hobi. SeokJin's "in the moment" attitude is what helps the team move forward. It is VERY crucial to have that positive optimistic attitude to survive in the entertainment industry. He did amazingly well to be that support system to his members.

I think you're absolutely spot on, I remember Jin mentioning that he always tries to keep things positive because of all the stress the guys had to experience and he does feel like he needs to be strong for the other guys. Yoongi is always the one who's not afraid to ask those tough questions and he's very perceptive of other people as well. I do agree that he has shown so much growth in confidence. Hobi is just our ray of sunshine always spreading that positivity. I also love how encouraging he is to the other guys. Thank you for sharing! I miss them so much!! I just love each one of the guys they are not just talented but amazing people as well. I love how they interact with eachother, like brothers but definitely Mr worldwide handsome will always be my bias. 😂

spot on. i think yoongi is super fascinated with jin too. and they truly are very different in how they communicate with the world and move thru life (even if they also have alot of similarities esp in terms of introversion). “jin is like a teacher to yoongi in a way… (yoongi) sort of observing him.” that’s so true! sorta reminds me of those asian animated cartoons where jin is that quirky enigmatic & lovable master/teacher that does odd yet wise things and yoongi is learning life lessons even tho he is often confused by jin. XD altho i would say jin learns alot from yoongi too. i think it’s also sweet that yoongi looks up to jin as an older brother in how to live life simpler. it’s these moments where yoongi’s younger brother vibes come out and it’s endearing :)

I've always thought that the key to happiness is gratitude. Sure, there are things that can be the source of happiness, like spouses, children, friends, jobs, accomplishments, money, etc. But if you're not grateful, these things can be a burden as well. If you're always grateful with what you have, hardships in life would be more bearable, I think. And I see a lot of gratitude in BTS members. They never take their success for granted. They're always grateful with what they accomplish and they're always grateful to ARMY. I think this is why they're successful.

This is so true. I am learning to look at gratefulness from a new perspective after becoming an ARMY.

yoongi and jin are called 'sin' by themselves, a very strong friendship in bts. yoongi has always gone out of his way to praise jin if you pay attention even in the early days (lmao when yoongi said jin was so overwhelmingly handsome/attractive in early bts days that suga was concerned for jins life in the group) i still remember the clip of suga deeply asleep in bed, jin next to him just quiet and deep in thought while the rest of bts are being chaotic in the next room. also this is funny and short but 'jin controlling savage suga', its more of a gag video but the first scene where jin tells the camera crew to stop filming so he can calm suga down is my favorite and was the first thing that clued me on how jin works even if its a short moment; kzread.info/dash/bejne/p39-yKSRnbPMc7w.html yoongi and seokjin are so incredibly close even from the start of the group, and its because they have a lot of respect and trust and even a genuine friendship even if its not really in the spotlight. suga said the moment he met jin he could see he was kind, pure (he even gave jin a gift, pine scented perfume) and throughout the years its just apparent how much they trust each other especially considering they both were roommates for so long by choice- i think out of all the friendships of bts, they're the most compelling/rare to me along side jin&jimin, namjoon&hobi, yoongi&jk etc

I have so much admiration and respect for both of these guys for many different reasons. Jin is my bias and drew me in straight away with his sense of humour, child-like nature and his care-free attitude, which i kind of envy to be honest. I would love to be a little more like him. He lives in the present and tries to enjoy whatever he's doing at the time and make the most out of situations rather than worry about what's going to happen in the future or what's happened in the past. I agree about Yoongi, his confidence has grown a great deal and he has such an air of self-assurance. I've noticed this in his concerts too. He's really enjoying interacting with ARMY on his own. He's extremely attentive to his guests when interviewing and he knows how to keep the conversation flowing. He's the perfect host!

I wish I can be like Jin. he seems to be a really positive man about life. we can see that through the way see most of the time dodges deep conversations. He is such a happy pill btw, love your videos

Some people already said this but Seokjin and Yoongi are actually very similar people, almost the inverse of each other as the members have stated. I think SUGA has always been confident. He's taken the lead as MC in their games and dealt with rude journalists firmly but what is noticeable is how happy he seems and easy with himself. He's no longer tsundere as he lets his caring side out happily now. Jin is the one who has matured a lot and gained in confidence. He's gone from being the little brother at home whom his mother didn't talk about to the self assured oldest member of BTS who likes to bring fun to the other members and ARMY. We learned some little tidbits in this interview. They didn't practice singing on a treadmill as has been claimed but by wearing masks to practice in. It was interesting to hear that Jin now has a great lung capacity which he didn't have before. We also learned that BTS don't have the best memories (did they have a TV in their room?) and that Yoongi was the one who fitted out their rooms and the bathrooms in their dorm. That's not surprising as he has shown an interest in architecture and interior features before. BTW today Korea adopted the global age system so SUGA and Jin are now 30.

Yes, I think you are right that Suga has always been confident. Though to me, it feels like a different brand of confidence now. It seems that he's always stood up & set boundaries for himself and confidently spoke his mind, however, I do think he just has a greater, more positive sense of self now where he exudes a different type of confidence (like I love myself type of confidence) -- and yes -- definitely more at peace now.

I’ve actually been reflecting on how to be a bit more “Jin” in life. It may sound silly to say but sometimes an idol’s example can be an easier voice to listen to than people closer to a situation precisely because it’s “just” a music group talking about concerns different from my own that don’t hit too close to home. Enjoying BTS music, performances, and personal reflections has been a helpful tool when my mind wants to worry more than is helpful. I remember Jimin saying that Jin has helped him learn how to enjoy life more too. Thanks, Jin! :)

I read a comment somewhere that mentioned Najoon explaining jin and yoongis personalities. Jins outer persona is Yoongis inner persona and vice verse. We do see this occasionally behind scenes or on things like RunBTS. So it's very interesting but also completely understandable that they get on so well because the reflect each other in many ways

Yoongi has grown so much. It trully shows even in his face: he is happier, confident, comfortable with himself. He now enjoys dancing, singing and trying and learning many new things

I wish you had spent sometime on the topic where Jin said he figured out what makes him happy. That is such a positive mindset that ppl will leave this earth without knowing what it means

Yoongi always creates such a safe place for his guest. It really makes me love him just all the more. (He's always been my bias although I adore them all.) Jin just brings so much light and Hobi brightens any room just by being there. - These hyungs bring so much strength to Bangtan.

Your view that Yoongi appears more confident and comfortable is one I agree with, and I wonder if that came about from the healing he did when writing and recording D-Day. I adore Jin yet he thoroughly confuses me. I don't think I've ever met anyone who was introverted and very intelligent, yet kept 90+% of his communication loud, light, and silly! His personality is quite captivating. I think it's really cool how these two were roommates for so many years- truly never would have guessed that!

I miss SO damn much Hobi and Jin... My bias and wrecker 🥹 I love the way both are... Funny and cheerful but very thoughtful young men. Hobi is too respectful too I'd love to hear more from him but soon he gonna be there as principal guest.

I love this! What wise ARMYs have discerned a long time ago might surprise you: - Yoongi's persona is who Jin really is inside - Seokjin's persona is who Yoongi really is inside Fascinating yet true, once you've deeply observed them in action off-stage & in their creative outputs.

Yoongi is my ultimate bias, it make me so happy that he is more confident and happy now and really enjoying life to the fullest 💜💜💜🐱 and jin is a sweetheart as usual 💜💜

I just love Jin so much not just by his good looks but by his personality.

When you mentioned how suga was fascinated by Jin reminded me of how RM confessed on his live of how confused he was with understanding Jin and how Jin lived his life lightly despite the struggle with keeping up with the other members earlier in debut days till the past few years, so RM was very proud of how much Jin accomplished and how much better he became at everything despite keeping up with the members. He understood Jin more from his solo song Awake which is about Jin’s struggle at being successful but that he still wants to keep trying and living for those he love. Now that he understands Jin a lot better and I think that’s how suga wanted to be. Jimin had said he learned how to have fun while being busy with life through Jin and I think that’s how all these members learned allthat through Seokjin.

9:55 "the curse of knowledge" -- very good point! Sometimes the audience members feel stupid, like they ought to know what the speaker is talking about but they don't and think maybe they're the only one. As a manager (now retired), I had this conversation so many times after the whole staff listened to erudite speakers. I used to tell folks who were worried, "None of us was born knowing this stuff." The implied message -- even this smart person had to learn all of this -- was usually enough to reassure people.

I was watching clips of Yoongi's performances from his solo tour, and yes, he is just radiating confidence! He looks so happy and healthy, I think he's gotten to a very good place mentally.

Hobi is always there to cheer and support Jin , it was so funny when he just do that 😂. As RM said at first as well he doesn’t get Jin either as he doesn’t understand how a person can be like that as Jin does not live fiercely he is so positive and his mindset is really strong.

11:55 Recently there was an article where they interviewed the staff at HYBE and they mentioned BTS's work ethic. They said - I'm paraphrasing here btw - "When I feel tired, I think of how hard the BTS members work even though they are tired and have so many schedules to attend to. I gain more energy thinking about them". There are so many instances where staff who worked with them (within and outside their label) have complimented BTS's work ethic and attitude. That's how I know that it's not just something they put on for the camera. They are talented, hard-working and good people on and off camera. So when they are the target of hate from other fandoms, the media and the industry, it bothers me a lot.

I think you have a good grasp of the persona Jin puts out there for people. He’s said that he likes to joke and make people laugh because if someone is watching Run BTS or any of their other content, he wants to lift their spirits. In actuality, Yoongi and Jin are very similar. Off camera, They are BOTH deep thinkers, they are both introverts, who are homebodies when they have time off. Do you really think Yoongi would seek advise from someone who doesn’t take anything seriously and is always lighthearted? I also was a little disappointed in your editing. A lot was cut that really shows the incredible amount of love and respect Yoongi has for Jin. I mean after they all went to live on their own, Yoongi still chose to live in Jin’s neighborhood.

Thanks for your review. Yoongi was roommates with Jin for quite awhile. They both say that they are perfect roommate as at their core they are similar. Yoongi has been one to step into the shadows to let others shine. He's said he is content to work in the background...hence his love of producing music. He's always been a great "DJ" or interviewer but he really shines during Suchwita. I've loved seeing him in concert and all the promotions leading up to the concerts. We see more aspects of his personality.

you literally never have anything new to comment about jin. just because someone doesnt get "deep", the way YOU think is deep doesnt mean they dont open up or arent introspective. Also he is obviously comfortable to open up behind cameras to his close people and he was one of the people who always encouraged BTS to talk about their feelings and issues. Its kinda annoying after all this time you still dont bother to look into their history. Also Hes not obligated to get overly vulnerable on camera for millions to analyze and even use against him. Jin is incredibly introspective and if you read up on his mindset about life youd realize how much mental work you need to do. Jin has said many times that he is prone to depresssion and he used to easily get blue & melancholic a lot, always focusing on the negatives and blaming himself when he was younger and actively worked fo change that, it's much more than just "he keeps it light" Jin is also always incredibly honest and blunt, about the truth or his feelings even when those are negative eg. not feeling good enough. Maybe go listen to his songs or read his solo interviews or even watch his solo vlive during Argentina where he opened up about everything he was going through regarding enlistment

I think your comment was a bit unnecessarily aggressive. I try to respect these guys and do the best I can. I never said Jin isn’t deep nor did I say he doesn’t have the ability to. I just think he chooses not to go there less than the other guys when they’re having conversations with each other. I’ve also listened to quite a lot of BTS’ (and Jin’s) music on my Patreon page.

You say he doesnt go "there" but hes the one who has the guts to speak publicly on topics like disbandment or the drama with their enlistment etc. but because he has a different communication style or doesn't use purple prose on his speech/is more blunt you keep saying the same things... I dont wanna be agressive but i feel like you see him too one dimensional...I wish youd react to solo jin content like the vlive i mentioned previously, his maple story series, his alcohol making show or the bangtan bombs of him working on his solo the astronaut or even a recent bangtan bomb of him attending movie premieres solo to see other sides of him

Finally, one of the best comment about this person reaction to Jin. I have been watched all his contents about BTS and he has been talking about other members but didn't do deep into about Jin. He judged Jin as a character who have been always happy or maybe a joker guy who jokes around people and isn't serious in the conversation with the members😂 he praises RM, Suga a lot and about Jin ...nah... Like he named BTS reaction and what about Jin???Life isn't all sunshine and rainbows 😆 Although he has bias, reaction should be objective to learn for something

@@maxpbeaumont Max, I appreciate that you think this is an aggressive comment but I see it more as a frustrated comment. There are so many moments of Jin being quite deep in conversations with the guys in their shows like ‘Bon Voyage’ and ‘In the Soop’, less formal environments and often on award shows on serious topics which he is always eloquent. In his solo projects like the ‘Astronaut session where he talks about the military enlistment the thing company asked him not to talk about, but Jin felt it was important for Army to know. He expressed in detail his feelings about it all. In his other promotion for ‘Astronaut’ his series of his Traditional Alcohol making show , it shows him in the fun light hearted moments as well as serious and perhaps we see a more realistic version of him. He is more extroverted when slightly intoxicated. If you watch these shows not necessarily review them you may get more of an insight into him. Many people are making comments on how wonderful he is and how deep and intelligent and even the things he has done for BTS as a team and members individually, but you don’t necessarily flag those unless they mention Yoongi, or very few so you can not blame people for thinking the way this author does as frankly I feel that way too. I knew Jin would try to keep this interview light and Yoongi try and deepen it but Yoongi knew how far to go. All the members say they have deep and serious talks with Jin off camera, but Jin is a private person and once the cameras are on to him it’s entertainment and that means lightness! My advice would be for you to seriously read what the people who watched your programme commented about Jin again and perhaps wonder why so many can see these things in Jin that you can’t or can’t share for some reason. There is one thing Army hates is seeing one of the seven being less thought off then the others, whether it is true or not, and your comments on Jin are always basically the same. He is the funny guy, likes to keep things light, if he teases you he is showing you love, maybe they are all true but there is so much more to him than that. This is what this author is frustrated about, it’s that you cannot see it or if you do you do not say anything different. At the same time you will wax lyrically about any of the other six members. People notice you see. I hope you do not get too cross at such comments as this author’s as Army gets frustrated often. I don’t mean any of this to be critical but helpful, my personal opinion and you can take it or leave and I am obviously not alone judging by the comments, is you have a weak area in regards to Jin. If you choose not to acknowledge and address as you may feel that you don’t or may choose to just save those thoughts to your Patreons, then that’s fine also but comments like this will become more common. Remember next year he will be your only source of BTS content for a while. Beginning of next year will be a bit sad for all of us. Let’s hope Hybe has plenty of content stored up for us. I wish you all the best for your future content.💜💜

BTS continues to amaze me. I've never been a fan of Rap (as in gangster rap), but I watched and "enjoyed" both SUGA and J-Hope rap. Obviously, it's cleaner than I heard in the USA. It was so bad here I stopped listening.

I’m thinking about your comment about how Suga & Jin are probably most opposite with Suga displaying/talking about his emotions & Jin making it through his life with humor. 14:40 to your point here. yoongi has been doing this also on tour. every time he does his endingment, he talks about how he came before to that place with the members ans how the next time he come back there will be 7. he's constantly reminding armys that bts is 7 and will always be and as an army im already aware of his words but when he says it it just brings so much comfort and makes me emotional being reminded by themseleves how much they actually care and love each other. its really beautiful
