"giving up is also courage" is something that got stuck with me. yoongi is always offering perspectives on things that I've never thought of before. he is just so wise and comforting

He does have a high EQ and studies psychology and has mentioned wanting or wishing he could be a counselor/therapist. With Tae, when he first arrived Yoongi had a hard time with him but there are a ton of videos and clips of him “translating” for Tae to the other members or audience because he’s got both a bit of Deagu accent but also some neurodivergent/4D way of speaking/thinking and/or mixing up words that everyone else took much longer to catch on to but from their debut year Yoongi could very quickly understand what Tae was trying to say. He’s also got huge patience for the 3 youngest, even if he bickers playfully with Jimin a lot. He also is very focused on comforting Army with his songs and lyrics. Between that and how ridiculously comment he is at a bunch of stuff (cooking, sewing, plumbing, interior design, painting, fixing all the stuff RM would break around their dorm room) no wonder he’s the top of the marriage list with all the “Yoongi Marry Me”. When I’m stressed I do listen to his voice there are a lot of “yoongis voice to fall asleep” KZread vids that are a few hours long, mostly from his voices over the years. His deep voice talking about whatever is ridiculously relaxing when I can’t sleep. Suran really praises how he was to work with she called him about being depressed and unable to make music and talked to him about mental health stuff and to help her he wrote Wine for/with her. Psy said something similar without the depression just that his outlook sparked Psy who had been a bit in a rut about finishing the album he’d been working on for a few years then Yoongi sent him ThatThat sample and it sparked a new excitement to finish his album and get out. RM et all say that RM leads but Yoongi “pushes them from the back”. As someone nearing burned out right now he’s helping me a lot.

For me I love how he says that giving up on ones dream took a lot of courage, that it is ok to not have a dream, you don't have to live that way with a dream or a goal, just live happily your own way. That if you are going through a hard time that often what you need is just time. All this is so true. So many stresses themselves out because they don't have a dream or because they do but are just striving for it and forget about their life every day. Many people struggling with mental health need time to heal and not do something, it's for example not like you can just change your thinking and be cured from mental disorders like depression etc. or after trauma. He is truly such a warm and caring person. Really empathic.

Personally I feel like Yoongi and Jin are the most observant members on the group. The thing about Yoongi is, it takes time for him verbalise what’s going through his head, but whenever he choose to do it’s so meaningful and special. He symbolises the saying of “Words can inspire. And words can destroy. Choose yours well.”

Suga says so soothing stuff cause it comes from his experience with depresion, fear, anguish. I think he has learned to be more loving with himself so he advice everyone to not being so harsh with themselves.

Yoongi wants to be a councilor and wants to be licensed someday. He really comforts and is very authentic person. This is what so many ARMY loves him and is comforted by his words

Well, I'm with the wife on this one!!!! I could listen to his voice 24/7 and still want more...so soothing. It makes me feel loved, seen, heard, and comforted.

Some of my favorite BTS tracks relate to finding your way through life. I can listen to them again and again. They include (but are not limited to): Sea, Path, Lost and Paradise.

I was wishing this could have been sort of interactive with your wife, instead of a monologue. Her observations were spot on, responding correctly emotionally to Yoongi's encouragement
