The era from their debut until the Spring Day era is and will always be the most classical, beautiful, and memorable era of BTS for me. I listened to them a lot before but now I only listen to them rarely and mostly I always listen to their old songs. It's my personal opinion that the old version of them before their western promotions is what made them very attached to me. Anyway, I really miss their younger selves, the Jin, RM, Suga, J-hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook that I used to adore and love.

@@meriemsridji8173 old army's seemed to care about the quality and not quantity. The newer ones are the opposite they care more about getting people to stream 24/7/365. There are definitely older songs that should have the same views if not more than the newer ones. I'm a multi but I only stan 2 groups. I like the older songs but won't be an army

whoever said that "Old is Gold" thats not true old is diamond broo this is amazing

listening to their old songs will definitely bring me back to those times where they were not that famous yet, i became an army since 2013 and proud to say i was one of the firsts 😌✊

Please dont be mad but I really miss the "old" BTS songs. They deserve all the glory and fame from their newer songs but "old" BTS song hits at a different spot uwu. They're coming back with their new album PROOF. You should definitely listen to it cuz it's mentioned that it will contain songs from their whole discography and maybe even some unreleased versions of sone songs. They new songs will be more hip-hop oriented like the 2013-16 type era which we all love~. It will be out on 10th june. I'm doing free promotion.

I love Bangtan, but in my very own and earnest opinion, I prefer their old songs more than the recent ones. The new ones are too... pop and common I would say. But I know Bangtan loves each and every album and era they have, so even if their new music are not to my taste I still listen to it. :)

Alot of people are saying that their new songs are bad or not as good as their old ones but yall just haven't listened to these 2019-2020 bops. Black Swan,HOME,Mirkokosmos,Friends, We are Bulletproof The eternal, Dionysus,Moon,Inner child,UGH, 0:00,and Daechwita still hits hard. Honestly I'd agree that they're old songs hit harder but the news are still good tho. I wished their hip hop style rapping,singing. I missed Rapper Jungkook and Taehyung's growls. I also missed their free-sprited young selfs. AND OO ALSO Those eyeliners they used to put under their eyes made them look 10000x times hotter. But I still love them for how they are today. BTS FOREVER

I personally think it's a matter of every individual taste. Some like the new songs more. Some the older ones and many don't even know Bts old songs. For me- i love the old songs and i don't like most of the newest songs. That's why I'm not an Army anymore.

Maybe give them a try? But Songs I recommend is Black Swan, Friends, AND O MY GOD "We are Bulletproof The Eternal" WILL LITERALLY DEADASS MAKE U CRY. It's so emotional and omg just pls give it a try pls-. Its a sad song. It'll make u cry.

By listening to this songs i realize that this days will never come back, but they bring me back so much wonderful memories...

i used to be apart of the army between 2016-2019 and man. these lowkey hit hard, and to think that i used to be a huge fan of them. oh how time flies.

Bts debuted when i was 6 so i didn't know them at that time but when i was 11 i meet this 7 boys and i fall in love with them im very proud been an army seens 2019 even if it was to late but i really love them they old songs always made me happy ( of course they new songs also) but this old one hits different ...... for all new armys please supprt them now theh need us they are 10 years now lets give them love and wait until they end they military service ....BTS ARMY FOREVER 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I know a lot of people prefer their old songs, but all their songs and all their albums have grown up with them, from teenagers and singing about education, dealing with depression and teenagers hard ships to growing up becoming adults and learning to love yourself, and now pandemic time their putting out songs that give us hope and are uplifting that we all need to here rn. They still have their swag! They're experimenting and growing they'll always be the same bangtan

even though their newer songs are too poppy for me I’ll still support them no matter what. i really do miss the eras during these years, I’m proud on where they’re at today.

I remember i was 14 when i knew them and in fact i grew up with their songs haha. Now im 20 already, watching them getting popular day by day, im really proud of them. It really brings me nostalgia, where i voted for them days and nights for every award show (especially mama) hahshshs. This feels like I'm back home...oh how I wish to go back to the times where these were releasing

I remember how I would play their songs in front of my family and stare at them in awe. I would get so excited when I would see BTS performing on tv, and I would sing along with them. I really do miss this era. I basically grew up with BTS, even though I don't listen to them as often anymore, listening to these songs once in a while reminds me of the simpler times back then. 🩷

thank you for your effort! personally i didn't put born singer because /technically/ it's not an official song, it's a cover. they just wrote their own lyrics. it's a song very dear to me too, but i wanted to put only official songs released on albums. i apologize it made you sad :(

These were the songs I used to listen to during what was the most beautiful moment of my life (ha. the reference). In 2019-2020, I lost everything that provided me happiness. I was in freshman year, my best friend moved away (only an hour away thank goodness), I broke up with my first love, my mental health collapsed, many family members fell ill, it felt like I had to start all over everything I had enjoyed and used as my support system for the last 3 years. Listening to these songs again, I feel like I'm in 7th grade again, loudly singing along with my best friend in a bus without a care for the judgmental eyes around us. Slowly, I'm learning how to find happiness myself. I'm alone again, but I have music, and it's not like my best friend is completely unreachable, we still text and call. Nothing will replace being able to see her face to face and go through adventures like we used to but I can't even imagine losing her completely. These are songs I've enjoyed since I was 11. I turn 17 next month, and am only a year away from graduating high school. I know nothing will take me back to the way it was, but hearing these songs is the closest thing I'll ever get to it. I can only look forward to the future, and I WILL look forward to it. If these songs taught me anything, it's how to appreciate and live life in the present. I won't let those messages die with the experiences of the past.

So loooove the new songs of our boys, still I'm missing their old songs 🥺. I do hope new/some armys will appreciate the old songs too 🥺.

Listening to their old songs always gives me goosebumps. I really miss the HYYH era, actually, I miss all the old eras. It makes me so sad that most new army came to know them through their english songs or their most western songs and don't know about the HYYH full story and the lyrics of songs like Run, Young Forever or I need u (it was the song that made me star my path as an army), or even their debut songs, which would make them realize how much BTS have work to be where they are today. I remember watching BTS old bangtan Bombs back when I was a new army, I remember how my love for them gradually grew watching funny videos to get to know them and discovering the meaning behind their songs and mvs. A lot of army nowadays only know their western facade, and I don't really blame them if they don't want to get too involved with BTS, but it's just sad. Lots of them call themselves true army while only knowing Butter, Dynamite, Permission to dance or Boy WIth Luv, and it's OK, but there are more songs and a long story to discover, a story about their hardships and triumphs, a story where they've handed their hearts and dreams to the world.

I became an army since 2018 and I listened to their old songs and dang, it just hits different.

So much nostalgia. Seeing how much successful they are now makes it more delighting to listen.

Oh god some of these songs are connected to some of the old memories, still remember how i used to play that one high note of Jimin in "let me know." How i used to blush over that "for you" jungkook. How i used to listen Suga's "agust d" and used to felt like I was gangster. How i used to search for jungkook's cover songs. How i used to listen V and RM's "4:O clock". How i used to keep jimin's "lie" instrumental as my ringtone. How i used to wait for Rm's and hobi's mixtape. Most sweet memory is how i used to watch "Bts Rookie king". Nostalgia hits so hard. I can't even explain, each of their song has my memory attached to it. It all started with searching their names. 9 years with them :) Bangtan will always have special place in my heart.

As someone who started listening to them back in 2014….they’ve gotten far from where they started off at. And I’m proud of them. Although now, I’m an ex-army, as their songs no longer appeal to me like they did before. Still a Kpop fan, and hard at that. And will always be grateful for BTS for being the gate to my Kpop world

It’s only now starting to dawn on me what it means "Young Forever". My youth is the personification of these songs. This era is truly immortal.💜

I've been a fan since late 2019 so I got into them when they released more pop like songs. But I listened to their old music so much that it still feels like nostalgia even tho I wasn't a fan when they released it. It just reminds me of the time when I was super obsessed with their music and they helped through rather tough times. And even though I really like their new music (it's literally so good) I will always prefer the music they released in their first few years because it's just more my type of music :)

I'm not an active ARMY anymore so please, new ARMYs protect them and cherish them like how I do when I was supporting them with my whole life... I'm too busy with my life right now (college student) so I can't really actively support them and just rely on their old songs so that I can still jam with BTS❤

k lemme be honest, i don't like any of BTS' new songs. they just aren't my type anymore. but i still love these songs sm istg aaaah

It was on 2016 when I discovered bangtan, and these songs from them were my addiction that time HAHAHA

i grew up with these songs, I’ll always love them. bts was the biggest part of me growing up and i’m very grateful for them

I became army in 2022 but I like all eras and they are great friends in my life❤

I love the old songs, I been an ARMY since 2014 and I do love their new songs, but the old songs just hit different and bring a lot of memories. 💜

Used to be an army for so long ago, and i came back here for some comfort. It felt so nostalgic and yet so sad. I'm happy that they're finally getting the recognition and love they deserved, but it felt so different now. And me, i found the exit to the magic shop. But i will always come back for the old songs that people are sleeping on.

Old is gold 💜

i started listening to them less around map of the soul but this is the stuff that really carried my mental health through some tough times :') bts + mcr combo to keep a high schooler alive
