The Lab are the dancers in this MV and when I tell you they are some of the BEST in the industry I don’t say that lightly. Sienna Lalau choreographed it (she is the centre at the start with the dancers holding the drum sticks, red hair) and she really made it spectacular for our boys !

V’s little sister is a Japanese American actress. She has a KZread video about her experience. She said V did not speak much English so they spoke to each other in Japanese in between shots. And we know from V’s recent Layover album promotions in Japan that he speaks Japanese very well.

This was at the beginning of 2020, right before COVID, so they shot everything in LA as well as Black Swan content(hence Jimin and JK barefoot. Right after they shot this, they would practice for Black Swan). They did Jimmy Fallon and Carpool Karaoke around the same time so they were in LA for a while during the MOTS:7 promotions. Shout-out to Sienna Lalau(the girl in the front in the very beginning with the red hair. She's was only 19 at the time😭) for the incredible choreo and the amazing dancers from The Lab for the amazing performance💜 They work with Sienna and The Lab a lot

Let’s give around of applause for the choreographer Siena Lalau! 🎉🎉🎉 Every single movement and little pieces was choreographed to the very details. She’s a genius!

On the Live stage, V always displays his expressive habits, such as playing with his eyes with his eyebrows, chewing gum (even though he doesn't eat the candy), blinking one eye at the camera, what's strange is he always knows where the camera is, he's like a magnet when he's on stage 💜

I love the part where RM, Yoongi and JK are in the dance break and they do the jump and I call it the superhero land lol

Same here, I have it too! I think it's actually pretty common but people don't know what it is.

I know its not just me that gets a pang in their heart seeing anything from 2020 and MOTS7 because of covid. They worked so hard in the states for about a month to make the MVs and promo stuff for this album, Including all the Jimmy Fallon stuff... before heading back to Seoul. Then from there, everything just got taken a way one by one. I know all of us who had tickets for the MOTS7 tour were holding out hope for so long.

Just watch the "non dancer" SUGA! OMG he was dancing from his tippy toes to fingertips!!! And Jin getting to be in the front and killed it!! Just all of them were amazing!

They all pushed it so hard for this one! I love Suga during that dance break, he blew me away 😊 This was pre-surgery too, and not long before his shoulder completely gave out. And he was still dancing like that. Damn.

Their performance of ON at Grand Central Station is also a must watch, if you haven't seen it already! ON live is incredible. You'll also see another great version of it when you get to BTS's MAMA 2020 performance :)

They did it live for the very first time at the concert in LA in 2021 when the pandemic restrictions were lifted. My granddaughter and I flew there for the December one. It was totally awesome. Actually the whole concert was awesome and mind blowing You really have to go see them live sometime. It will forever be one of your best memories. It's a once in a life time event the first time you get to see them live. Totally worth the money spent for it.

I had tickets to the concert here in NJ for the world tour and everyone knew when they performed this for the first time that it was going to be epic! Covid caused it to be canceled and we were so bummed out. 🥺We had to settle for the online concert where they KILLED IT with an insane opening dance break before they went into the official ON performance. BTS really gave 1000% to ARMY as though we were all there. 💜💜💜💜

Everytime i watch their dance practice i watch it on repeat bts and the dance crew were on fire the girl in the center when it starts is the choreographer she killed it i think she was 19 when they did this and the fun thing i learned later is that v isn't really chewing gum but on will be always a masterpiece

This exactly why OT7 ARMY always say we HAVE to watch BTS' videos MULTIPLE times!!! LOL! There's so much going on everytime, after the first initial watch, you then watch again one time for each member throughout the entire video, so that's 7 repeat watches right there...and then you can rewatch again for anything in the background and then again for everything. And you'll also notice they're all moving backward during those kick back moves...lol!

Love your reactions to this amazing song. Also one note at the end of the dance where they turn areound and have their arms around each other , when one is missing they always leave a space where that member whois missing would of been. @@anika_12 yeah I think that’s the problem a lot of fans are seeing. As much as I hate to admit it, CCW isn’t doing that great of a job on deciding what is “family friendly” and what isn’t. It should either be all or nothing and as they’ve branded themselves as family friendly it doesn’t make sense why they’ve reacted to everything you’ve mentioned and have made a pass on “Seven (Explicit version)” and why they unfortunately (probably) won’t react to 3D 🤷‍♀️

Seven though i was like alright atleast they reacted to the mv but if they are not going to react to 3d at all then that's extremely wrong on their part . Also they have also reacted to war of hormones n weren't so against it so not reacting to 3d just for jack harlows verse doens't make sense. They should like you said specify what they can and can't react to for the family channel image otherwise it just looks like not giving a care about jungkook's solo projects .

They filmed the whole thing both film and dance MV in the Los Angeles area. They were in LA for about 3weeks. The field where JK was running towards the water that's at Disney Ranch, the rock is by 5fwy, and the Dam is by 110fwy..

Since you love the music making process and the behind/making of songs, I hope you watch the On Commentary Film to see how the music was actually put together.

The rocky part is north of LA in Agua Dulce - it's called Vasquez Rocks and has been as a location for a lot of movies (Star Trek for example). It's pretty interesting terrain and fun to scramble over

If you watch “ON” Kinetic Manifesto film shoot sketch there are scenes with Sienna Lalau teaching the dance. BTS’s relationship with Sienna and The Lab is so beautiful. They have done MV, performances and tours together many times. The Lab became famous for winning World of Dance season 2 in 2018.

In the recording, the band parts are done by the UCLA band but in this video and in the MV, thebrass and percussion members are from the drum and bugle corps "Blue Devils." There is NOTHING like watching a drum corps competition in person, especially if you were a band nerd back in the day. That WALL of sound is mind (and hair) blowing, no lie. It always makes me so happy to see band and drum corps members get this opportunity!!
