Put your mold on your scale, be sure to Tare. Fill your mold with water. Multiply the number of fluid ounces of water by 1.8 to get the cubic inches of the mold. IE. If your mold holds 12 ounces of water~ 12 x 1.8 = 21.6 cubic inches. 21.6 x 0.4 = 8.64 ounces of oil in the recipe. Or- Measure your mold and multiply. Regular loaf mold: 3.5" x 8" x 2.5" = 70. Convert volume to ounces. 70 x 0.40 = 28 ounces.
