I'm 51 my three daughters introduced me to BTS five years ago. They've changed our live in an amazing, wonderful way. Every time I listen to this song (which I love it) makes me cry because it was a really hard beginning for all of them but we can see they were the Best of the Best from the very beginning. I'm so glad your son follows them, BTS is the best option for our young generation, he's following good people, amazing human beings. 💜

But can we take a sec to talk about JK's rapping and how badass Jimin and Mr. Worldwide Handsome especially looked? The early stuff absolutely slaps!

This song is about the expectations of parents forcing them to study rather than following their dreams. Basically criticizing the adults/parents. And yall are right about the naenae move. It was popularized in 2016 I think but BTS did it in 2013 😂

Yes this was their official debut, their ages at the time were 21 to 15, JIN was 20 and JUNGKOOK was 15; it was also JK’s rapping era when he started out rapping before becoming the main vocalist and sub-rapper etc. Their dancing has improved allot past eight years and we cant forget about JIMIN’s Abs flash Lol they were more aggressive with their approach back then in 2013 and there was NO subtitles available during that time either which was hard but I was able to adapt to the language barrier, I was in my first year of college when they finally made their debut, even with KPOP still NOT as globally popular 14 years ago which is how long i’ve been a Kpop stan.

If you remember from the "Who Is BTS" video Big Hit started BTS as a hip hop group originally so that's why in their first videos they are thuggish and hit the dance moves and singing so hard. Big Hit later turned them into a Kpop Idol group. The early videos like this one are pretty much the only ones that you see Jungkook rap in. Another good one is their video Dope, but you probably already did a reaction to that one.

Yes, they had YEARS of training before debut...We adore our Baby Bangtan!!!!!! RM and Suga were already rappers before joining BigHit agency, but JHope started rapping after joining BTS. Jungkook (youngest) was 16/17 when they debuted, and the oldest, Jin, was 21/22, I think, so yeah, they were youngsters. Y'all should look up the lyrics to this...they really are great especially for a debut song. You didn't hear about it because they were a kpop group from a very small agency who couldn't afford to promote them.

Their first few albums were more hip hop influenced. In those days the vocal line were rapping because that's what they originally were supposed to be a hip hop group, but the CEO decided they should become an Idol group. "In this video they're not doing as much" They danced really complex dances back then, check out the Dance practices for Danger, Blood Sweat and Tears, We Are Bulletproof pt 1.

Their humble beginnings. I remember how they were treated during their early years, there's always a pinch in my heart. But seeing them soar high makes me cry for happiness and I feel so proud to all their achievements. This is the first song I fell in love with with BTS. It's in my playlist and my kids love to sing and dance to all their songs. My 5 year old has her own BTS playlist too.

They all did good but especially the rappers … all three rappers body this shit Danger mv but def do the dance practice … the choreo is fire You guys should check the live stages up too

I also suggest-by the way these are in a row right after No more dream-We are bulletproof pt 2, N.O., Boy in luv and Danger. Rm and Suga both rapped before they even joined big hit. So they even knew how to rap before they were even trainees. One or both rapped in the underground scene.

Actually the reason why BTS is such a great group is because they climbed to the top. That's the main reason why their song barely hit international or intercontinental since the company they're in is BIGHIT (you can see the logo in intro). Compared to the top3 companies like SM, JYP, YG who has nice funds and very big capabilities, bighit wasn't that famous that time. So that's the reason why BTS was renowned later.

BTS has dance practices so please watch the full dance choreography for No More Dreams. They stood out even back in 2013 and became famous for their extremely complicated and fierce choreographies. There's a compilation of BTS' easy to hard dance practice videos that highlight some of their songs. Their earlier songs have some of the most difficult choreographies. It's ok, I'm not Korean but I'm trying to learn since I've been a huge fan of K-POP & K-DRAMA so I kind of understand a little on what they're saying. I love the beat and their vocals. I have a K-POP dictionary and translation book next to me everytime they sing it in Korean. So it's not hard to understand cause you gonna get use to it.
