i purple u technically , he wasn’t “forced” to do so. he did that because he struggled with his body weight previously ( he thought he was overweight . ) so he work hard to get abs .in the beginning he wanted to show it off . Kinda like an accomplishment of him getting in shape. However , it became mentally exhausting because he realized that that was his image & it became draining to maintain that. that’s why he rarely shows it now . he wasn’t “forced”

@@itscrissy3721 from what i know he really didnt want to do it at first. when he was told he would be the only one doing it he cried and begged not to do it. but after the debut he was getting a lot of attention so he started to like it but it eventually resulted in some serious eating disorders and depression. in the past couple years hes really grown a lot though, and is super comfortable with his body even without abs. he loves and accepts himself, and knows that we just want him to be healthy and happy and love him no matter what.

@@abipeltier8712 some of that may be true but please check facts dont believe it cause a random person or videos say it without proof. make sure its from a reliable translation and that he said it himself. too many people take advantage of the language barrier and mistranslate things on purpose. or pretend to know Korean when they dont and make up conversations that never happened.

Abi P. That’s not true . before debut in his vlogs posted on bangtan tv . he use to talk about his weight & how he thought he was overweight . so he started working on his body . Hence the abs . He got attention from it however , that attention became unwanted attention because he felt as if he had to maintain that image. So he worked hard to stay skinny . Which made him suffer from eating disorders & hatred towards his body image . also, he didn’t go through depression . He never said that . He did say he because very insecure + eating disorder .

They were amazing since day 1. They were so young but the talent still shone through. They were really different from all the other polished kpop boys groups back then. Beyond the vibes it was the lyrics that set them apart. Many of the early songs were considered controversial...openly singing about social injustice just wasnt what kpop was about. The adults probably didnt appreciate their music much but the youth loved it. Someone was speaking up for them.

Ahhm it was not Suga but the stylists who made up this style, the members themselves weren't comfortable with this concept, they were not their true selves, Jimin was really unhappy to always starve and exercise to keep this "abs boy" image and even tho Jungkook rapped he did not write the lyrics and many others things rappers do so you can't call him a rapper idk, but still for the debut it's such a great song and I'm glad they were able to express themselves in I nee u era after they got their 1st win))

there’s a lot of things i don’t really like about this comment, in the beginning jimin was okay with showing abs it was that overtime, it became overwhelming to maintain them and he made bad decisions which resulted in him choosing to starve or have very strict diets not only that there were “fans” who only seemed to like him for his abs and he didn’t want to disappoint those “fans”. and jungkook is still very much a rapper that’s like saying the vocaline aren’t singers because they don’t write everything they sing. and besides if he were to rap today i’m absolutely positive he’d write his own verse ,, and to add on listen to their circle room cypher , he freestyled his rap there, obvious proof that he’s capable of writing his own verse. so to say you can’t call him a rapper is beyond me, i would even call it an insult to him as an artist. edit: also i would like to know where you found that information that he didn’t write his raps?

they’ve always have been able to express themselves especially in their older songs so i’m a little confused why you say INU was the period in their career where they truly expressed themselves (are you saying that because that’s when they got more exposure and more fans?) imo there’s a lot of things they said then that they would not be able to say now. compared to other companies from debut bts were given a lot more freedom TO EXPRESS themselves and now they have even more freedom
