Hoseok said it's Live Autotune, he wanted it to be authentic to the Studio Version. He said he wanted to try himself out a bit, and experiment. Don't worry they are always transparent, when they do things, the Rappers sometimes use Autotune and Talk box sounds, for stylistic choices for the vibe of the Song and its slaps hard. They all are way too secure in their Skill, to be not transparent about the things, same with having a backing track, because they dance, sing and rap for 3 hours straight. This does not take away any of their Talent, BTS knows it and ARMY knows it.

100, 000 people in the audience, millions more watching online (they broke the servers!)....such an iconic moment! At 63, I have never been impressed with any band or group as much as I am with these guys. They sing so hard and dance just as hard...and write and produce their own stuff....I love that they are Korean...they were sent here to give the world a much needed wake up call! Powerful music comes from EVERYWHERE! Thanks for reacting!!!

There were about 50,000 free seats at the main venue, and about 12,000 at other venues. They could not use all of the seats in the stadium because of the large stage positioning and it would be blocking the view. There were 49+ million online viewers on Weverse and Naver, causing it to crash repeatedly. This info is available on Google Search.

After a change of venue, the physical component was held at the city's Asiad Main Stadium and attracted some 50,000 in-person guests. Busan Asiad Stadium or Asiad Main Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Busan, South Korea, with a capacity of 53,769. There's no way 100,000 people saw that concert in person at the stadium. You may be thinking of the people who also watched it on the live stream screens at other locations.

@@NoviRV weverse don't even have so many subscribers so the number isn't of people online but accumulative views. The crashing contributed to the high virews because people keep coming back to try to watch. At the end it was 49+ mil views. The crashing could have been done deliberately to inflate the views. It conveniently started after the 2nd song.

@@sariel8406 🙄 That wasn't on purpose. Break downs also happened on Naver Now (and I think something was wrong with Zepeto -sp?). But you are right in the aspect that I think a reneveal sparked as a number of new view. The number is certainly not trustworthy. Ironically JTBC (?) brought the best live stream (on on twitch without a potential virus). There is still a lot to be done to make weverse better (especially with the integration of "new" apps into the system. Hopefully the timelapsed viewing is going to be better.

The fellas in the band are all based out of LA. The musical director Asaf Rodeh is responsible for putting this particular collection of musicians together. Asaf and his assisant Jonathan Linav, both from Direction Music Group, did the music arrangements for this concert as well as J Hope's recent Lollapalooza performance. Matt Hines, who was also on bass, also was apart of the Lollapalooza crew. Pierre Jamerson was on the keys and Kenji Chan was on his custom Strandberg guitar. Al Cleveland III was the drummer that I'm sure you will be looking up, lol. All of them produce and have an extraordinary resume. This is the magic when you get very driven, progressive musicans together. BTS is not new to the live band during a concert but it has been a while. You may want to look up the drummer from thier house band called Ghost because he is awesome too.

In this particular concert jhope decided he wanted to try autotune or some kind of effect on his voice for 1 or 2 songs or parts of songs. He used it like you said in the first part of his verse in Run bts. And he later used it in the performance of cypher pt3 which sounded absolutely sick. It suits him so well. He said it at the concert ment actually, that he wanted to try it.

  • @WhalienDNA

I thought it sounded SO COOL, especially in Cypher 3. I was trying to figure out what he was doing and how so I appreciated that he talked about it in his ending ment. They can all do so many things purely with their own voices and then they can use technology to the perfect effect to spice things up even more sometimes.

A fun thing I noticed in BTS concerts is that they always start hardcore with their 'darker' song in theatric outfits And then they have an outfit change into something more colorful and softer and they perform their more 'happier' energetic songs. And in the end they are more in 'regular casual streetwear' clothes and they perform their more emotional slower softer songs. They dont EXACLY do this everytime.. but in a similar way they usually split their concerts into different parts so no matter what style or genre you perform, you got it. And i just think it is really cool how their concerts always start highly energetic, transition into relaxed and happy, and then end on a hopeful note, so the fans don't suddenly have an adrenaline drop when it ends. (BTS also have a habit of saying "THIS IS OUR LAST SONG" and then performing for at least half an hour with a whole outfit change hahhaa)

  • @nevaladder

One of the members that sang the really high not during Run BTS (Jin) actually had a really bad soar throat. Apparently weeks before his voice was super soar and he had to do IV’s and stuff. He literally could hardly get any noice to come out like hrs/min before then concert, but miracles happened and was able to perform clearly and with an AMAZING sound!! They all kill it!!! Yoongi nailed his rap. I can’t imagine rapping so many syllables after dancing sooo hard literally a second before. Hobi (Jhope) sounded so good!!! I could keep going on but anyways… I recommend doing the subunit performance: -Ugh! + Cypher 3 (rappers) -Butterfly + zero o’clock (singers) Thanks for reacting and enjoyed your thoughts 💜

Don't stress, lol...it was a live autotune effect. The studio version of the song has a really cool autotuned effect on his voice on that part and he actually talked about it at the concert. He said he wanted it to sound similar to the studio version in that sense and decided to experiment with the live autotune on his mic.

the two voices you were hearing is the support track -- you could hear it better in the official stream, and filling out the sound is exactly what it's there for, as well as giving them a fall back if they need to focus on choreo over vocals (two heavy choreos back to back is a lot on the lungs whew)

He released a super mixtape a few years prior. His Lollapalooza performance was record breaking and iconic. He closed the festival and had a great live band. I may never get over it!!!

BTS usually tours with a Korean band named Ghost, or use backing tracks performed by the band. But this Busan concert is different. The music director for the band is the same one as the one who worked with J-hope at Lollapalooza, which had an alternative rock feel to it. For this Busan concert, they wanted it to feel like a rock festival, so maybe that's why they worked with this music director again. I think the band members were all Americans. They ended up paying for it all they even paid to make the Stadium safe and refused to use a dis used Glass Factory site. They made it free for about 100,000 in the stadium and overflow's outside the stadium on massive screens. Their were government officials in the audience and they kind of stuck 2 fingers up at them in the concert.

They've been one of my favorite parts of their live performances for years, it wouldn't be a BTS stadium concert without them. They play a lot of styles, which explains the basic hard rock and funk sound. 💜🤘 PS: I'm not entirely sure if it's live autotune as much as them singing/rapping live over a backing track that has autotune for effect.
