seokjin has such an independent way of thinking, he recognises where some rules don't really matter in the end and just does it anyway for his own happiness. i remember even around their debut he questioned why they had to dress a certain way to be "cool" and hiphop - they can still do hiphop music without it. being able to live outside of some of their lifestyle's strict boundaries is what helps ground them and live like humans.

If you understand Korean then you’ll know that despite his straight forward and realness the manner he uses in delivering them are polite.. maybe it’s the subtitles you watch cause I haven’t seen Jin being in appropriate in any way

also the shares they hold are miniscule even combined as a group it gives them little to no say in company matters. they are not on board of directors like for instance scooter braun. and some members have already sold some of the shares. Jin is spokesperson for the group beacuse the other members trust him him with it. simple as that
