I think that there was something wrong in the mics or sound mixing for both Mic Drop and Boys with Luv--there were real gaps in the sound, especially for V.

This performance always get me bcs as you know BTS made songs abt what they went thru, so could you imagine at this award show there wasn't a lot of people in that crowd rocking with them, there was idols and the same sea of people who belittled their success that year saying they didn't deserve it and just didn't support them all present in that building. When you also understand that then this performance just hits 10x harder lol, they're telling their story and history of success so it will always remain one of the most iconic MAMA stages bcs this is literally coming from the biggest band in the world and one of the all time greats of not just now but any era. Such a legendary performance from them.

This performance is legendary - as you said they were now bonafide global superstars and performing cypher 4 and Mic Drop in front of their peers was a definite statement that we are BTS and we number 1. They literally left nothing on the stage and nearly passed out after their performance from exhaustion , especially Jungkook who was on the verge of collapsing - while they were recovering they won the AOTY Daesung - KINGS!
