During their Wings Tour (2017 I think), RM sang his song Reflection, where he talks about how he hates himself and at the end repeats "I wish I could love myself" multiple times. (great song if you want to check that out!) Well ARMY started a project where every time he says that, they shout back "we love you", and that eventually sparked the Love Yourself era, where we get this song and other amazing ones. RM's verse in this song where he says "I needed someone else's approval to love myself" came from this as well, because it was ARMY's constant love and devotion that taught him how.

I love this song so much, I can relate to this a lot.. I'm a survivor and I'm going to love myself.

to quote RM " you first must love yourself before you can truly love others" bts has a trilogy of albums called love m and yourself talk about the process of learning now to love yourself and this song was apart of the final album of the three called love yourself answers and in a way this is bts's answer to them discovoring how to love themselfs through thier music

Hiii! Try the magic shop live performance, its really good. I really like your channel so far, you're listening to a lot of the less mainstream songs, which is really nice. However, with mostly doing lyric videos you dont get to see all the charm of bts. They're amazing dancers and performers. I suggest watching the following: - black swan MV - mic drop MV - ON kinetic manifesto - Award show performances (MMA 2019, MAMA 2019) - Live performances of the songs you have listened to so far Some of the more well known individual works; - V: Love me again and Slow dancing (layover album) - Jin: the astronaut - Jimin: like crazy - J-hope: arson - RM: Seoul - Suga: the trilogy (Daechwita, Haegum and Amygdala) Other content: It's very funny watching some of the RUN BTS variety show and there's a lot of funny interviews and fan edits on youtube.

I think you should watch an official music video, a lyric video if they don't have an official MV, and a live performance together in one reaction. I was attracted to their ability to rap/sing/dance at the same time as well as their choreography, which they used to practice 10 to 16 hours a day to learn and perfect them. Lyric videos is only half of their performance.
