Some army write about how they're feeling lately (frustrated/ happy/ depressed or just feeling down in general) and how bangtan has been providing them comfort and motivation. These letters/comments/posts made RM relate to armys since we can't be happy all the time but we have each other to rely on. He was able to embrace the pain after all the questions and confession he has to himself. RM wrote LTB to tell armys that bangtan will continue to listen to our stories and will never stop singing for us, while we speak ourselves.

May I add that we can also interpret is as 'Even if people keep on scrutinized me, it is still great to be alive and living instead of giving up hope.' In my opinion, this song is about Bangtan knowing the hardship that we face and they want us to keep holding on even when things are hard. This song can be interpreted as them expressing the feeling of knowing that they are the reasons that some ARMY'S are alive. RM's lyrics, for example, show that even though he sees himself as nothing, ARMY'S see him as lighter than light(brighter than light), and that he can't give up. This song is about how they feel, knowing that they have saved some ARMY'S lives

Gurl 😭😭 I hope he knews about my feeling to him (RM), and to them (Bangtan). Namjoon was the first member who took me to this beautiful rabbit hole. And of course I'm not regret at all. I just felt grateful that I've found them on my lowest point of my life at that time. They saved me. Namjoon's UN Speech saved me. 💜 Armys are right, you will found them when you need them the most. Suga's voice is so gravelly, Jin and Jimin's so light and silvery... the vocal contrasts on top of that heavy background - this is one excellent bop! 💜

Since it's Korean lyrics, Koreans have different words that are considered "curse words". So when the lines say "rolling in the poop", the translation should probably have been more like "rolling in shit" based on the context of the lyric to better convey the intensity of the meaning, but regardless, the word is the same, because the Korean doesn't use feces as a curse word, so there aren't multiple ways to say the word as there is in English. So yeah, the translation is "correct" technically, though not intention-wise. But yeah, "poop" does really lessen the impact of the lyrics. xD

Based on the introduction of what RM shared with us from his broadcast, LOUDER THAN BOMBS tells a story of how sadness and fear grow as a person encounters pain/struggles in life. He particularly shared about relating to ARMYs letters, comments and posts in social media who expressed themselves when feeling down and seeking comfort and being grateful to Bangtan as they became a huge role to motivate strength, acceptance and love. He imagined that during concert tours, fans share the fun with them but he realized that beyond those faces are fragile lives who have different stories to tell and fans count on their songs and presence. As for BTS, who encourages everyone to ''speak yourself/ourselves" (from their voices of reasons in many ways) the message or rather, main inspiration of the song is that, they are going to continue to listen to our stories and will never stop singing for us, while we speak ourselves. Bombs when exploding have a powerful connation, its either terror or war (that hardships and pain represent) and its noise are frightening as it loud. Originally, RM shared that the phrases were supposed to be "All the pain, pour out" and "Protective walls collapse" but they made it lyrically poetic without direct description, they plead fighting desperation - "I break louder than bombs". ~ Kimi 🗝 #ʲᵏᶜ on amino app Just like RM said during his live broadcast, we can't be happy all the time, but they want to tell us that we never walk alone, and they are here to comfort us as they listen to our words. This song is very related to a song they did early on in their career which is called "2!3!". Which talks of hoping for a better day and hoping to see the smiles on the faces of fans, but knowing that those smiles are lies to the knowledge that the fans though they smile are in pain from their lives. So they are saying that (people) say "The pain (I feel) is hypocrisy (because I have it all) but they know that the fans are dealing with pain and that brings them pain. Where he speaks of rolling in the poop (or the filth as the ediom speaks of) it's the poop of knowing that their fans are constantly in anguish and not being able to change it of having to listen to other talk about BTS in bad terms calling them names because of their race or calling them a boy band or making fun of the fact they were make-up, it's all filth but if not BTS who would deal with it. No matter what waves strike, no matter what else they (the rest of the world throws at us) BTS will sing over those harsh words and criticisms they will sing to drown out those words, the will sing louder than bombs.

I didn't mean to say that it was one of their debut songs but by most standards everything that is on or before Wings is early on. You’re awesome. The way RM slightly changes the pronunciation of certain vowels reminds me of when Eminem proved he could rhyme with orange. He’s a lyrical genius right up there with Rap God Mathers.

So true...i fell even harder for them after i started watching Run BTS. It was literally the only thing that kept me sane for over a year during one of the most difficult times of my life. I would come home put my headphones on and just lose myself in their crackhead moments 🥺 I took a break from it for a little while cos life got hella hard (covid/death of loved ones, etc.) but I think i need their energy to revive my spirits again...so I'm gonna start watching it again.

I’ve seen this reaction already but coming back to it today, it feels like the first time. That’s when you know the reactor is authentic 💜

This is one of my favorite songs of BTS and Sunga’s lyrics hits me. It says “people are jealous and dismiss my pain as hypocrisy, but they don’t know what pain I endure.’ This really hit me when I first heard it. It made me realized that I’m not alone when my emotions get invalidated. This song really resonated with me. That’s why I love BTS. Their music is like a balm and it speaks to my soul. 💜

And for me it is dual layered with his pain IS my pain, so when MY pain invalidated, ignored, silent, it is Louder Than Bombs to him, causing him pain. But to end it with them promising to sing louder than the hurtful shit that bombards me, louder than my pain, gives me so much comfort and support to keep going

Love this song. It’s hauntingly beautiful and a bit of badassery. The vocals and melody really get you in the feels. And yea RM does sound sexy on here.

Louder than bombs is such a deep song.. it talks about how sadness and fear grow as a person encounters pain or struggles in life. And the message is that they will continue to listen to our stories and will never stop singing for us, while we speak ourselves. I totally forgot ton recommend it to you.. but I'm happy that you react to it. One of my favorite.. I guess I have too much favorites songs.. 😅😅 I think when Suga said that people said there pain is hypocrisy means that they shouldn't feel the pain because they are successful and rich, but I'm not totally sûre.. and for Rolling in the poop, it is a soft word to say Rolling in shit.. I think to ARMY it is not underrated but for BTS themselves they underrate it. I mean in the Run BTS, army really want to see this song live and BTS didn’t realize how much we loved this song. Idk this is what I think, I could be off.

ON A SIDE: How to say this....I have watched many of your reactions and always turned them off before you would begin your rapping because, honestly, I couldn't hear the true lyrics of that song beyond the (filthy) language. So, just now I saw a word 'Destiny' and I was thrilled to hear a song with deep meaning and heartfelt lyrics. I REALLY liked it and always hoped there was something more than what I had heard before. I'm just an old ARMY grandma, so I don't accept what I hear as filthy language as easily as some do, but I wanted to give your songs another chance and boy was I pleasantly surprised...I thought it was VERY GOOD!! ....so, thank you for BOTH songs! This song gave me goose bumps big time!!..everyone sounded amazing.. Jimin's voice was haunting ..and bewitching!. This song was perfect for his voice..RM was sexy as hell I totally agree with you..Jhope had a very seductive darkness to his voice ..suga was savage ..you can hear the anger..Jin..well his voice is beautiful still cant get over that this beautiful man wasn't able to sing in the beginning would never have thought it!.. V sounds so sultry and warm..Jkook always puts such good emotions to his voice! This song is true emotions sung with every emotion you could think of..im hooked!!

Okay speaking truth.... My life would not be same without this song...

I enjoy and gravitate towards heavy, deep, atmospheric themes in music and this song has easily become my ultimate fix. I love it, love it, love it. Suga´s low growling, with heavily distorted vocal part knocked me off my chair first time I heard it.

I want to recommend Dionysus . I'm sure you will really like it .

They are saving this song for their 1st concert back post covid, I just KNOW THIS!. And I Know it's going to be ridiculous! This song is one of my favorite conversations I've ever hear then have in songs. Everything about this song is just pure Art!

To the people who say BTS can't sing....just listen to this over and over. You ask who are "these guys". These guys are the people who said they can't sing, they lip sync, they plagarize, they copy other people, they wear makeup so they are "less than", they left hip hop so it made people mad, and they aren't true K-pop. They still have haters!!!!! They still have people so jealous!!!! These guys worked 12 to 14 days, dedicated themselves, have true passion for their art, and will always work through their pain to achieve their goals and aspirations. And they are NOT afraid to confront those who don't believe in them or say they are fraud. BTS is genius...pure genius through and through. And the most important thing...they are humble human beings who are really nice, loving people. But they speak up when the haters tell lies and defend their truth!!!

Louder Than Bombs is probably in my top 5 favorite BTS songs. When I first heard it, it was like a full on moment. This song is UNBELIEVABLE! Their vocals just fully encapsulate you (especially if you are wearing headphones and you hear Suga whispering in your ear :0D). Thank you to the person who requested Anthony to react to it.

Thanks for an amazing reaction, really happy you enjoyed it!! This song is quite sad, but definitely one of ARMY's favs as shown from that one Run ep. They are singing directly to ARMY and about their emotions as behind the cheers and silent pain/sadness, there lies the shadow. Their songs have literally saved peoples lives and they are acknowledging that, but RM asks whether it is okay to have such an impact on other people lives. Yoongi responds to that by saying if it is not them, who will? And from the lyrics they also sang you and I promise, in which they end up promising to keep singing for us hence the lyrics "Louder than bombs I sing". BTS light sticks are also called army bombs and hence the title "Louder than Bombs".

"Airplane II" next, it's got a latin vibe I love it, shows off their versatility.
