They replicated the set of James Corden's stage. . The first performance, Life Goes On one, symbolizes how they struggled during covid and needed to stay at home all the time. In the end of that song they were happy because as they opened their presents, they found that it was their outfit for performing in the Late Late Show. The transition to the Dynamite symbolizes how JK was reminiscing to the struggle by looking at the window.. And then they were going to the airport to "travel" to the US, and latter on, they "appeared" in The Late Late Show. Jimin (the baby mochi) even acted as the host / James Cordon (papa mochi). (These terms papa mochi & baby mochi are from their interaction in Carpool Karaoke about a year ago). They way they recreated the replica of the set and "performed" at that set represents how they are optimistic that everything would be better in the future and they would be able to visit places they are invited to. . Before this performance was aired, James Corden tweeted a spoiler about this performance video and said that he and the team were shocked when they received and watched this video from BTS. James even said that he become a little bit emotional watching it since it shows how BTS put a lot of effort for this video and how they really wanted to appear in the show.

I agree, what an amazing concept! This performance and BTS - LIFE GOES ON+DYNAMITE+BLACK SWAN | SBS GAYO DAEJUN 2020 IN DAEGU were my favorites of all their shows in Nov and Dec 2020.

That was a welcome reaction. Thank you. I lost count of how many stages they did of these 2 songs - all different. They never skimp on creativity. Right from the start they've put everything they have into all of their stages. In the beginning when Big Hit didn't have any money, they borrowed as much as they could and even sold part of the company to beNX (online games) to finance this group since they didn't have any other groups then... My favorite performances of these are the ones they did at MAMA 2020. The Life Goes On stage at MAMA really amazed me - so many extras who looked at first like manikins coming to life ... And all the small details like the printed signs on the windows... So many stories one one stage and even SUGA came back as a hologram... Peace and Love.
