If you do his song “begin” I would highly suggest the live… bc it’s got nice lyrics but the chorus is mainly all dance so there’s most of the song that isn’t lyrics .. and the song lyrics are cute and sweet… but the Live is absolutely a necessity … even a fancam of it to see the footwork… and also for part 2… ANY ida s. Video…. Her “main vocalist jungkook” video… or “jungkook king of acapella” is really cool… also her golden maknae video showing why he’s called that and all that… but yeh def loved this.. thank you! Also not sure if you know but if you have social media you must have lol but jungkook created this pictorial where he came up with the concept the production, the outfits , hair and makeup and he chose “the darkening of a soul” who is a vampire… anyway there’s 3 videos… one like 40 sec teaser, a 2-3 min production film of him coming up with it and working on it along the way and then there’s a “photo sketch” for his concept… I think it’s called time something… but holy hell not only are his looks insanely sexy but to hear his vision and see how it was all brought to life… is cool and it’s just behind the scenes of him shooting his different scenes and getting ready and making last minute choices for his outfits or him putting on his makeup and telling them how he wants his hair and that kinda thing while they ask him a few questions here and there about his ideas and choices. They’re not long at all so if you do a second jk video… these are some really cool things to check out this side of him as well . I know rms is coming out and so there will be these things for his as well but they all got to do their own and it’s just whatever they wanted to do with it Edit: jungkook singing on vlive by ida s I think there’s two videos.. both are amazing as well and it’s him sitting and singing in his livestream lol def iconic mini jungkook concerts on there!!

Oh also I’m not sure but I think you know that jungkook is nicknamed “the golden maknae” bc he’s good at everything… not just singing, rapping, dancing, writing, producing and directing… but running, korean wrestling, archery, drawing, painting , cooking…. Just everything lol so his image has always been “someone good at everything” and it’s how he’s described a lot… rm gave him the nickname in like 2012 even before debut… but the easiest way I can explain what “decalcomania” means…. Is a perfect copy… I’m sure you know what a “decal” is that are those stickers you put on things but to create decals…. Is the process of decalcomania. It makes sense with jungkook having such an artistic mind.. and being a bit of a prodigy lol but anyway… he’s talking about jungkook the golden maknae that we all see… and being Jeon jungkook and seeing what we are saying about him and how we feel about him but him not seeing that in real life…. He wants to be the version we see of him in his everyday life. He doesn’t feel like he deserves that nickname… so he says he pushes himself really hard to appear that way. Sad thing is he’s exceptional just for being him… but of course being so young coming up.. was very hard on him growing up if that makes sense. He put that song out on SoundCloud SO long ago and then deleted it. My time kinda has a similar ish feel… but jk is spontaneous so once he deleted it .. he couldn’t get it back and probably didn’t even think about that lol but I think my time told his story in the way he wanted to… so sad for us bc it sounds gorgeous… but my time is absolutely incredible … can’t wait for his solo stuff

JK literally dropped it on Twitter on his birthday back in 2019 and dipped... and then apparently he deleted the original so it doesn't seem like we're ever going to get a full version. It's a shame too because just that demo alone is amazing and his use of his lower register is sheer perfection... but now we can only dream of what might have been...

while we all really wanted a full version (me included), I think that this song was so personal to Jungkook, as he spoke about how the real Jungkook is so different from the one we’re used to. from my interpretation, I think that he lost himself in that period of time, so him deleting it must mean that he has grown ad a person since then. I think that we should also respect his decision, but of course everyone wanted the whole version. that song is a masterpiece truly, and I’m really thankful that we got to see a snippet of his mind and how he feels.

about decalcomania: there isn’t a full song, it’s a demo that jungkook released on his birthday in 2019. it was a demo of a song that was supposed to be on his mixtape. he’s been working on his mixtape for many years now but he’s very perfectionist so he keeps deleting songs if he doesn’t think are perfect. i guess we’ll get to hear some of those songs on his upcoming solo album, given that bts is now focusing on solo activities. you’re spot on about the meaning of the song: he’s basically talking about how he views himself. people call him “the golden maknae” because he’s multitalented, he can pretty much do anything if he sets his mind into it. however in this song he talks about how he actually doesn’t see himself that way. he has talked before about how “jungkook of bts is amazing but jeon jungkook is irrelevant” or how he has to to try really hard to appear perfect because of his golden maknae title. he might have grown out of that mindset since it’s been a few years but jungkook is someone who despite being immensely talented and praised, he’s very hard on himself and can be his biggest critic.

When you hold on to a track for too long without releasing it, you'll grow up from the mindset of when you made it and it'll prevent you from releasing it, so you should release stuff quickly or something along the lines.

@@ashonline77 That's good advice. Holding on to something for too long can be a heavy thing, so it's best to get it out and over with or just getting rid of it if you can't release it. I'm similar to Jungkook in that I hold on to old things too long and never release them, then I end up giving up, because I've moved on or grown from it. I do that with stories that I write or when I used to make videos, I had ideas, but scrapped them, because I started doing other things and it was almost burdensome to just leave the ideas there without doing anything with them, it pained me.

I’m falling more and more in love with your reactions because you’re so considered when you make your comments, your smallest eyebrow raise tells us so much. I’m 17 years older than JK so I feel like a mum or big sister towards him but then he puts on the leather outfit and I’m raising eyebrows myself (son, chill out please!😂) I’m so proud of JK for following his dream since childhood and becoming a stellar all-rounder, there’s literally nothing he can’t do when he puts his mind to it. I almost have a higher standard for him than other performers because he’s moulded himself into the ideal idol, and I’m here for the ride! He’s such a good person too, I love how kind and thoughtful he is for example always helping the staff to clean up the stage after a performance! What a gem 💜

Jungkook’s solo songs are my fav. He is indeed the backbone of bts’s vocals. His voice is layered in all of their songs & his voice color fits any genre perfectly. Most of the time bts songs doesn’t let him show his full potential tbh. Since he can easily slide up and down with his range, they almost always use him like a bridge between tae’s deep tone and jin&jimin’s high tone. Because of that, he doesn’t always gets to show the highlights in his voice in their music. ( like his ability of doing high notes or his rich lower register, or his actual voice tone that has a little bit of rasp). That’s why i can’t wait for his solo album. He has so much to offer in terms of vocals.

100% it’s impossible to understand the depth of jungkooks voice and techniques without hearing him sing on a live stream and covers bc at least then he sings other parts and stuff so it shows how crazy his range and control is and with other songs of solo artists he gets to sing all the highlight parts and it really is shocking how hidden his vocal abilities really can be in BTS music. JK's cover of Falling made me cry the first time I heard it. He used the song to express his fears about ARMY no longer loving BTS like we did before Covid. He released this cover exactly two years to the day from the date of their last concert in 2019, before Covid hit. All of the boys were concerned about ARMY losing interest in them because it had been so long since we had been able to see them in person. Just knowing that he was so worried about it that he felt the need to use music to express his feelings broke my heart.

Jungkook is Multitalented, he's the most complete Artist I've ever seen, from been a Great vocalist to many more Talent's which are uncountable! He's the Definition of ART!!

fun fact, still with you was produced and written by jungkook and posted on soundcloud for free as an anniversary gift during their festa 2020 and the link of the song has "thankyouarmy2020" in it. he basically wrote it to armys about how he's feeling about the pandemic and not being able to perform for us and see us at shows, because he LIVES for performing. also, the video is missing the "so hug me then" in the end of each chorus after the running with wet feet part hahah

Knowing that jungkook choreographed “my time” will just always make that hit different!!! That’s my ultimate bias right there and ugh his voice is everything … jungkooks live voice is something I cherish being able to hear… he’s a phenomenal performer and he’s been the center of BTS since debut even amongst these phenomenal group of artists and performers ….. I’m very proud of him… all of them honestly…. They all literally take my breath away constantly… but of course my ult bias just hits different :) the crazy thing about the rain from “still with you” is that he wrote and produced this song for the festa after the pandemic started and his very last live concert was their final concert in Seoul that was pouring at their outdoor concert lol so his last memory with army at the time was that concert in the rain. Still with you live is gorgeous!! His production of this song just show how unique his mind can be and ugh so proud again !

Jungkook is someone who is gifted with many talents like he is good at singing, dancing, raping, painting, sketching, athletics, archery, taekwondo, boxing and many more. And almost never makes a mistake on stage also he is very good looking. That why netizens call him to be the perfect idol. So he pushes himself forward and tries his best to improve he even said in an interview that he doesn't have any particular vical training schedule he sings whenever he gets opportunity since he become the main vocalist of bts at the age of 15 yrs he deleted the idea of vocal training hours and practices everywhere so that no one can question his vocals and he doesn't become a burden to bts as being a main vocal is a big responsibility and he was a minor then the youngest member . This Euphoria live performance video is not at Tokyo Dome, it's in Osaka at Osaka Yanmar Stadium Nagai during the Love Yourself Speak Yourself tour in 2019. They did perform at Tokyo Dome the year prior in 2018 during the Love Yourself tour but they didn't add the flying over the crowd part during the Love Yourself tour in 2018 but the Love Yourself Speak Yourself tour so this performance is from 2019.

Jungkook is a bit of an adrenaline junkie. In the Bon Voyage season 4 which was set in New Zealand many of the members enjoyed the giant Nevis Swing over the canyon. Jungkook decided that basic wasn't ENOUGH for him and decided to ride the swing, backwards and upside down lol. His live vocals are incredibly stable and his tone is lovely. He was my first bias, but after being wrecked by all the boys I gave up and am happily OT7 eternally. Happy to enjoy your journey through Kpop and especially with BTS.

Jungkook is a big treasure that korea got. They are lucky to have him. His vocals are mind blowing and so versatile. No wonder why he is being awarded with many titles like Ace of kpop, Face of kpop, King of kpop and many more like these.

A beautiful reaction, I really enjoyed your perception of him, you are quite sensitive and attentive:-) When you watched JK in Euphoria, you should see your own face... it was a face I often see with people effected deeply by this young man´s power - a power of overwhelming joy to perform, a power of a kind heart he invests into each of his stages that radiates and very obviously reached you too :-) His big smile and twinkly eyes is his signature I must say, I have never seen another performer with similarly pronounced and very obvious passion and joy to perform. You nailed it when you said he glided smoothly through it :-) He always does :-) That Euphoria performance was somewhere in Japan btw ( Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka,... not sure sorry). Falling cover surprised us all when it was released. I really love that song, both sung by Harry and Jungkook. I think that JK intentionally kept it pretty close to the original but still managed to tweak it so it feels different. Harry´s version feels like fresh pain and frustration over breaking relationship expressed by someone who is going through it right now. Jungkooks version actually made me cry because that sounds more like a pain of someone who has been fighting forever and is exhausted and spent because deed is done and over with and all he is left with is regret and resignation. It just hit different how he sung it, I do not know..... My Time was unfortunately performed only a couple of times and isn´t it shame :-) He choreographed bigger parts of that dance performance, btw :-) Hypnotizing indeed:-) It must have felt so weird for them to perform for cold lenses of cameras and no live audience during Corona :-( Still with you is written by JK for Army during pandemic as a gift - loving jazzy arrangement and relaxed sultry lounge vibe of it :-) Very mature, very classy and very layered. Decalcomania demo is one of my absolute faves no matter how unfinished and short it is because it unveiled yet another facet of JK we have never seen before which I personally find beautiful - his deep, husky, mournful voice - a sonic delight. Decal is used often in ceramic production when an art work sheet (pattern) is applied to a substrate or surface underneath. You put a dacal on, then you glaze it, bake it in the oven and you have finished product :-) Thank you for spending time with us :-)

Yes decalcomania is about himself. He was having a hard time identifying with Jungkook of BTS, the kpop idol. He didn't know if he could live up to his "Golden Maknae" status (Imposter syndrome (?)). He was doubting himself and very hard on himself that it broke my heart. The song made me cry so much when I read the lyrics. Unfortunately he deleted the files of the song and it therefore no longer exists nor will it be developed further into a full-fleshed song😭😭😭. Maybe it's because he has realized that Jungkook of BTS and Jeon Jungkook are one person, but different personas and no longer over-identifies with either(?). Nonetheless, there was a shift in his thought process. Still With you is about army and how much he missed us during the pandemic, as their tours were cancelled and they couldn't see us. He released the song on their 7th anniversary as a gift for ARMYs and it's actually free on Soundcloud( It's neither on Spotify or iTunes). It's my favorite song from his. My Time is also my favorite song from him(2nd to still with you). Not only do I love the R&B vibe of the song plus his voice, but I relate to the lyrics.

The famous copy, the one that is perfect and then there is his true self which he is afraid won't live up to expectations and people won't like him. Jungkook sure is an amazing artist. What I really love about Jungkook is that he has such a rich, enthusiastic and steady vocal arrangement with a great versatility in his singing skills. His lower tones are so beautifully balanced between the soft breathiness and the fullness of his powerful rich sounding vocals, I really loved the slightly added rasp into it as well. Harry's is more of like telling to himself and Jungkook's is like he is saying to someone desperately. Jungkook's raw emotions is working more intimately with the storytelling of the song. Also, after this cover i'm convinced that Jungkook is the best storyteller singer we have in our era. I was blown away by jungkooks cover because I did not expect this at all. He sang this so beautifully. His english pronounciation is absolutely flawless as well, which impressed me so much. Jungkook is the Master of Harmonies! All those harmonies you hear in that song is all him! This man is amazing. I love Harry's original but I love Jungkook's cover just as much. He really made it his own just by simply using his voice and emotion. I agree with the storytelling factor 100%. Jungkook has been shining as the main vocalist of BTS for over 8 years now. He has gained so much experience and shown enormous growth. I really can’t wait for him to release his solo mixtape and unlock his full potential!

Jungkook is truly one of the most talented artists I've ever seen. He's insanely good in everything he does, and the best thing is he always ALWAYS tries to improve himself and his talents. He's super humble and super strict on himself (maybe too strict) but that just adds to his charms. Amazing man and beautiful soul 💜

This is probably silly but you said wow his voice is so smooth at the beginning of euphoria and I thought yup, main vocal. Then I thought he's the flour, the base of the cake, he's in every nook and crany with ad libs and harmonies, plus he records most of the guides for the others. Then I thought Jin is sugar, good lord what a voice, Tae is the eggs because he brings everything together making your ear feel safe, and Jimin, ahhh Jimin, he's the vanilla, not the boring meaning but the flavor meaning, exceptional voice. They're all exceptional, every time I think one is incredible I think "but also... " 🤦‍♀️😂💜💜💜

I like your analogy. They all play their parts to make their songs especially pleasing to the ears. Just a friendly reminder, JK is the main vocalist and Jimin is the lead vocalist. “Main” being the highest position. Just as J-Hope and Jimin are the main dancers and JK & Tae are the lead dancers (not to be confused with dance leader - which is J-Hope). And, of course, RM is the main rapper.
