My respect for Jin grows daily

I am always impressed at how he, as an introvert, is able to leave his comfort zone to talk to new people, make small chit-chat or do all those fun things to break the ice. I truly believe that his Jin alter-ego as well as the "worldwide handsome" line are a confidence booster and help him doing all the stuff he would not be comfortable to do as Seokjin. I think for him, making people comfortable around him, or helping the other BTS members to feel good in certain situations by making everyone laugh, is more important than any of his own anxiety as a shy and introvert person. He is definitely very selfless and I am pretty sure his public personality helped BTS a lot to be who they are.

With that point you pointed out about Jin's desire to make people smile is more than his own comfort, I agree very much though I am unsure when he ever feels uncomfortable. But of course, as human, there would definitely be times he still presses on though he feels the need to recharge instead. And yes, I also agree that this is one of his many qualities which contributed to BTS's team dynamics!

He is a completely different person in real life guys. He has always maintained a platonic relationship with fans, like he doesn't tease romanticizing him beyond a boundary. He is a realistic guy. He originally thought he won't last long in the band because he was a beginner and there was an acting career he wanted to pursue. Being an introvert, also not someone who didn't have the passion for music or dancing initially, he sacrificed alot. He is actually goofy outside, mature inside kind of person. He just want to be happy more than anything and keep his life to himself. Very hardworking, but don't want others to note that of him. Really supportive, caring, and extremely.. I mean extremely charitable. He is every household's dream of a son, husband and father. (Don't mind me, I just love my bias a bit too much)

Being an INTP myself, I can really understand him. He's such a beautiful person, whose both heart and mind are pure. He's like a diamond in the rough, you don't find people like him everywhere. He always wants ARMY to be happy, and for that, he's ready to hold any emotion within himself, no matter how strong it is. Not everyone can do that, because it requires a lot of courage and willpower to do that. He is an angel, an angel who only wishes the best for everyone around him. So we should keep supporting him, and we need to try our best to hoist him up as high as possible. Because he deserves all the love and affection he gets.

I love SeokJin's personality!! Calls himself WWH ( deserved 100% ) but turns red immediately if someone compliments him! Likes interacting with people! But is an introvert by nature! We stan!

this is one of the reasons why I love him so much, he taught me that just because I'm an introvert doens't mean I have to be socially akward, I can be myself and uplift the environment even if I'm not an extrovert

Jin's pleasant personality is what draws people to him. The guy has just has so many layers to him. His good looks are the nice icing on the cake.

I really love the fact that Jin choose to come home at 8pm or spend time hanging out with the members in waiting room despite being invited to party. Yes! That's my fellow introvert! 💜 High five! 😊💜

I feel like he’s different off camera though, like I know he said to Tae that he gets depressed sometimes. His personality on camera is clearly real ... but J hope and Jin are the two that are always happy and lively for the others sake.

I respect Jin so much for his personality. he is an introvert but he literally makes sure that no one in a gathering feels awkward be it his members or someone else. how he changed his personality a bit during 2015-16 is so precious because he felt happier! it’s good that jin is given credit for this behaviour of his even though he has been like this from the very beginning SEOKJIN WE LOVE YOU VOTE FOR JIN ON FANPLUS APP💜

In one of the interview, Jin mentions that he always try to be cheerful on the screen because ARMY watches them. He don't want ARMY to get upset, so he tries to lighten the environment and mood of the members 🥰 He is very thoughtful, gentle, kind and caring person 💜

i read about BTS' MBTIs before and INTP have an abundant inner life. (Just how Jinnie is so wise and quick witted and have a consistent and clear point of view) However, they also are open, friendly and fun to be with because of their fascination and unending curiosity of the world around them. On top of it all, Jinnie is kind and humble and respects himself which makes him literally the perfect hooman being. 💜

I don't think Jin is INTP. I would rather say INFJ or ISFJ or ISTJ. But seeing this video I'd rather say INFJ. Not sure about that.

@@YN-ARMY well, in general the personality tests aren't that reliable (this is like an introduction to the MBTI). To be sure of your type you must study the cognitive functions. And when I observe Jin (which I did a lot, because this is what I usually do with people), he's way more different than an INTP. People with this personality are kind of insensitive, cerebral, analyzing everything, with a lack of feelings and emotions (I don't mean that they don't have emotions, of course). the way he acts around people, the funny side of him, and the rest of his personnality. Maybe more ISTJ then. I'm really not sure this is hard to type him.

@@YN-ARMY well the fact that he can sometimes look like an extrovert. Can be really childish and funny. When he points out the inconsistencies and linguistic mistakes his mates do (usually he does it to joke around. Or maybe not to make people feel more embarrassed). His honesty (INFJs tend to be like that). If I'm not mistaken he's more focused on the future (as INFJs) and not the past. It's really hard to tell about Jin, since I don't know much about him. But INFJs for example tend to provide emotional help when ISFJs provide physical care. INFJs tend to follow their hunches when ISFJs are more traditional and conservative. ISFJs also see and remember things with a lot of details when INFJs pay more attention to the big picture (they also pay attention to details, but less than ISFJs) and usually have a poorer memory, instead of ISFJs. That's why I don't know, since he doesn't show his true self when he's with a group of people and being filmed by a camera. That's why I hesitate between INFJ, ISFJ, and ISTJ (but this one doesn't look like him 🤔...)

My mbti is INFP and I relate to Jin and Suga so much. I become a social chameleon often in social settings to make sure people are having a good time which can be super draining afterwards. Of course they and I are still very different people but their presence is so comforting to me. Also, I love your editing style! It's so soft and wholesome.

Yes, that's one of the reason Jin & Suga are best roommate. Both have same style in charging themselves, sleep quietly. We can see in In The Soop too that Jin always choose to sleep separately, in most private space after being social-talking, working, playing with the members all day. As an INFJ, i can relate to both Jin & Suga too. 😁

It’s sweet and funny how introverts gets adopted by extroverts and how introverts seek out other introverts and act like extroverts together like how these three act.(JK, Seokjin and Yoongi). Seokjin is an introvert with a very strong intuition, many introverts and extroverts can have this but there are levels to this and from what I have seen with Seokjin over the years has made me realize how very strong he is in perceiving and reading others also the atmosphere( watch most of the bts run episodes and you’ll realise why he wins most of the time😁) He is a good mind reader because he focuses his energy on those around, hence being a natural socialiser despite being introvert. He thinks deeply about life and wants happiness for others but because he is an introvert and most of what he thinks are for the benefit of others it’s hard for him to focus that on himself which is why he keeps his thoughts to himself and we get surprised when we find out his sad thoughts through his songs and quotes. I can go on about him😁 but most of this is from my perspective on him and how I feel about him though I don’t know what he goes though and cannot judge him just by what I see.

I am shocked at the idea of Jin as an introvert as I’ve seen some of these clips in other vids, specifically when he was in Malta, having a drink with the bar owner, talking a selfie with him etc. But after reading other’s comments about how he puts himself out there for the ease and comfort of others, I can understand this to be true. He has such a sweet disposition and so very respectful & caring about others & making sure others are having fun or not forgotten. He has a lovely soul & deserves our love, respect & protection.

The more I got to know Jin, the more I like him. Not just because of his WWH and six pack abs, but he is so generous, thoughtful of others, sweet guy and the funniest of all BTS members. Being the only member who is sociable with strangers, I would think he's an extrovert, but it just goes to show his generous heart thinking more of others 'what would make them feel included in the celebration,' etc. when his nature is an introvert and would rather be by himself versus going to a party with other celebrities.

Being an introvert is not necessarily about being shy. That can be an aspect about anyone's personality. It's mainly people who prefer to be alone because being around people can be really draining. He's the best person. As another introvert, I worried about him when he talked about a burnout. He always amazes me by putting others first, and I find his energy and EQ level simply otherworldly. I can't wrap my head around how well he lives and thrives the way he does. I've read a recent interview, from Vogue Korea iirc, where he says he's alright now, and he doesn't distinguish between BTS Jin and KSJ anymore. I love that he still has solid boundaries set for himself as a public figure; but I also love that he gave himself more liberty by setting those hard NO's while forgiving the little things that give him comfort on and off camera. What I love best is that I think he has come to terms with who he is as an artist and that he finally allows himself to take even some of the credit he's awarded. I'd be really grateful if he has accepted and embraced that he has long been due the recognition being given to him. 💖

I always knew Seokjin and I were very similar, until now I confirmed it. He is an INTP, i'm an INTJ. I understand him, we are really private about our things and try to give our best.
