(0:22) One way that blessed my life as a band, about two years ago someone suggested to us that we should work with a Korean band. Full of judgement, because I'm human. After awhile I felt scared about this, because they are different, they make different music. (:53) So, we went down this road and we did a song together called, My Universe. This turned out to be one of the most fun and filling relationships that has taught us so much. Just embrace the difference rather be scared of it. (1:12) About, six months ago, Jin called me and said " I have to leave the band, in December, for two years and join the Army in Korea, because that is the rules. " " I need a song that says goodbye to everybody for a little while and tells them I love them. " Because, like all bands we need you that really does everything and does magic. I said, okay, we'll do a song together and instead of being worried about it and grateful for this relationship we have with BTS (cheers) (2:03) And this song arrived and one of our best songs. Let's give it to this gentleman and he's flown all the way here from South Korea. (2:20) And this will be the last you will see him for a couple of years. He has to go join the Army, which is serious stuff and hope it goes okay. Please, give the most wo derful welcome to my brother from a band of brothers. This is Astronaut and this is Jin. Let's go.

Just Chris Martin being respectful about the whole thing, about the enlistment about the band and their work, his honesty about it all made me bawl my eyes out and this is before Seokjin even came on stage. A little bit of kindness is all that is needed but I'm so grateful for the LOVE and friendship these two bands have developed for each other. The Astronaut is a beautiful song sung by a beautiful human being that is Kim Seokjin and I'm glad he worked on it with a band such as Coldplay, with equally beautiful people.

Prior to Coldplay collaborating with BTS, I was only familiar with their radio hits and liked them very much. I’m so grateful Chris got past his fear and they found each other as now I enjoy and respect the members that make up the Coldplay band and have had the joy of experiencing what an amazing man Chris is and Coldplays awesome music. It’s been a blessing in every way. I’m so gratefulBTS and Coldplay have each other.

This was so moving. Chris Martin is such a wonderful person. His intro moved me to no end. When he said, “my first reaction was judgement… because I’m human…”. It was an honesty you simply don’t hear from those who pretend to be spiritual as they are not humble or willing to be humble. And then not just to work w BTS but to welcome them into his heart and allow something new to unfold to the extent that he would be moved by Jin’s request for a farewell song to Army, and moved by the fact that a global superstar has to leave music for two years. - well, I don’t just love Jin, but I also see the kind of artist and human Chris Martin really is and it’s beautiful. Made me cry.

Definitely cried!! When I first fell in love with BTS many years ago, I felt like they had the same hearts as the members of Coldplay. I'm sobbing. This is goodbye for now. I remember watching Jin eat videos in 2015 and wishing for him to get more lines in BTS songs. I remember focusing on him during dance practice videos and feeling proud when the spotlight was finally on him. He's grown so much and seeing him on stage with Coldplay is the result of all his hard work. I will miss Jin but will wait for him 💜.

Big respect ot Chris who came with such a beautiful song, who supports BTS and Jin, it was so wonderful and warm introduction, when Chris was talking about Jin, who called him and asked to help with song before joining to army I found myself in tears, Chris is so pure and humble. God, I was a big fan of Coldplay for years before joining Army, but I could never imagine my favourites will collaborate, support each other and will stay on same stage together. As Chris said they are so different, but their love for music and their pure and wonderful souls made this happen, and I couldn't stop crying for whole performance. There are nods towards the florist shop as he is walking. People have pointed out the little girl is about the same age as ARMY (9-10 years old). And there is the Braille on his neck that says ARMY as well.

Я тоже расплакалась, как посмотрела выступление. Прям очень грустно, и в то же время тепло на душе. Джин не забыл о нас, и решил попрощаться таким прекрасным способом. А Крис помог ему. Хоть и понятно, что это не конец, мы снова воссоединимся, когда ребята отслужат, но все равно грустно сейчас. 😢
