Exactly. Hobi and Jiminie move so differently but they are both so so so so incredibly talented and are beautiful dancers. I hope they react to hobi dance compilations next. Let’s face it, he doesn’t get as much recognition as is due. But damn. I wish I could move like both of them.

worldwide handsome they are actually both main dancers. Hobi is dubbed the dance director because he learns the dances in minutes where it takes others hours. He also contributes choreography to the dances and helps to teach the guys their dances. That’s not to say Jiminie doesn’t help teach and contribute choreo because he definitely has done both. Spring day is Jiminie all over it because it’s largely contemporary dance. But we all need to agree that every single member is a phenomenal dancer.

@@shahmadeeha5351 Jhope and Jimin are both main dancers. while Kookie is a lead dancer - officially, but personally I'd say the skill of Hobi, Jiminie and Kookie is so high they all can be considered to be main dancers. I'd also agree with choreographers of Singularity and would say Tae is a lead dancer. And if I am completely honest all this ranking is a complete bs, cause they all are great dancers by now

Jimin in a top tier dancer and praised for his dance lines in and outside of Korea. Main dancer, along with hoseok. His skills are beyond any others. He has expression and the techniques down 100%

Lol it's always surprised me how much ya'll accidentally tend to sleep on Jimin ngl. He and Hoseok are both the main dancers of the group after all. They've both been dancing for their entire lives but they have different styles. Jimin has a lot of expression and control due to his background of being a contemporary dance major, but he also did things like popping as well. It's really cool watching their styles clash and mesh with each other honestly, love how each member brings something to the table.

⚔ There is a reason why BigHit gave Jimin the official title of Main Dancer & Lead Vocalist since the beginning when BTS first debuted!! Jimin, at age 11 studied, performed, & competed (winning every competition) in hip hop, popping, & street dancing. He attended the renowned Just Dance Academy while also going to middle school! At one point when he couldn't afford tuition A teacher at Busan (where he is from) Just Dance Academy covered for him because he was that good! He then went on to study & perform contemporary/modern dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts entering as a top student with honors! He also trained in ballet & traditional Korean dance! After performing at concert show for a Busan event the media called him 'the rising star or Busan'. Jimin even had an offer to dance overseas, but Jimin wanted to sing as well so instead went to Seoul to audition for BigHit! A teacher actually said disappointedly that 'the world of dance was losing a great artist'! Not only did BigZhit sign him as the very last member of BTS but gave Jimin the official title of Main Dancer & Lead Vocalist since the very beginning when BTS debuted!! Jimin also has had 8 years since he was a quite young, training in various forms of martial arts! Jimin has two blackbelts! One in Taekwondo & one in Kumdo (Korean form of martial arts). Jimin was even offered a scholarship to go to China to study more extensively because he was that good! Jimin found a way to some how incorporate all these different dance styles as well as his martial arts training, into his own unique breathtakingly amazing form of dance! Also Jimin's martial arts training, which gave him that amazing inner core strength to achieve all those gravity defying moves during performing like with Serendipity those amazing aerial spins that most dancers are unable to achieve!! Jimin is looked up to in Korea as one of the top performers that most Idols want to be like! He is not only admired for his amazing vocal ability as well as his spectacular dance moves but his work ethic, always the perfectionist!!

@C Sasy - All you have to do is look at the comment section replies! The heated arguments when true facts are give that indeed both Jimin & Hobi are Main dancers! I love all 7 members I can't begin to tell you how much! But I won't stand for disrespect, lack of knowledge, or denying any members achievements, talents & capabilities! I've never seen such hatred directed at one member even death threats. So any real human forget being even army would feel the need to speak up! In Korea it's so different because the Korean language is indeed not manipulated and mistranslated giving so much either misinformation or leaving out vital details by international army. Many times sadly because there are many solo stans who would chose to give false info to discredit a member for the sake of another!! This has been on going since around 2 years now more or less! Many unaware new international army have been trusting this misinformation created as fact, Being put on Amino Apps made to look official but are just indeed solo stan fansites! It's gotten so bad that these unaware international army indeed even the ones who were the creators of the Who is BTS 7 Member Intro that has fed so many new army what they believe facts! So now a whole new generation of army only rely on the misinformation and inaccuracies, info edited or left out as facts! Extremely long story short, this is indeed why I've been feeling the need to offer this correct info up for anyone who cares to know the truth!! To tell you the truth, it's upset me that because of this I feel the need to put more of my attention here more then some other members that I would absolutely love to put more attention to who I feel has also been a bit neglected! Especially our leader!! As well as other members of the rap line!!

Before Jimin joined BTS, he was a contemporary student in an art school. He was known as a top student in class. And he was a scholar because of it. When he planned to audition in Big Hit, he told his teacher about it. Now, Jimin continuously donates to his hometown's department/ministry of education.

It's close to the top do please support and give it a like and if possible try to get it enough likes because I so agree! There is such misinformation or lack of info where Jimin is concerned! Even army who have Jimin as their bias, many seem to be completely unaware of his past background and all his amazing abilities! Many still aren't aware that he is indeed a Main dancer & Lead vocalist. Let alone his background in hip hop that he studied way before contemporary! I mean his favorite artist included Rain, & Taeyang, & especially Chris Brown who is totally hip hop!

@S YG Hi 🤗 I hope I don't come off as rude, but, do you know the difference between main and lead in the Kpop industry? Your use of "but" in the comment makes it seem like you might not. In kpop, the positions from best to pretty good are like this: main> lead> sub. This means that members are labeled by their company as main if they have the most skill/versatility in a specific category, be it vocalist, rapper, or dancer. In BTS, Jimin and J-Hope are both main dancers, although their styles are so different, they're both extremely skilled.

In K-pop industry the definition of main and lead is not the same. The role of main dancers lead the performances on the stage not lead dancers.

Jimin and J-Hope are both masterful but very different dancers. Jimin has my favorite style to be honest, I'm always mesmerized by how beautiful his lines are, and how emotional he is when performing. Also! I always thought Jimin fits Kurapika best, he's soft, but he's ambitious, determined, and cold as hell when the times call for it.

Jimin was born for the stage. His live singing and dancing is the best gift.

JIMIN draws an ART by dancing, he reads a POEM by dancing, he is one of the most important reasons WE love BTS!

There is actually a huge difference between ballet and contemporany dance. Jimin did the second. Me too and i know i'd suck at ballet. On the other hand, Jimin had a better and wider training, and is impressively good at dancing. He seems to have the delicate technique of ballet (and contemporany of course) and the sharpness of any dance genre related to hiphop. His body control and strenght is something i truly admire. It's not something easy to adquire At all.

I love the way Jimin dances, he really captures your attention with the emotions he press in his dance, he exudes charisma and he is intune with his emotions. Also, he is very versatile. He's really a great dancer, one of the best in Kpop world. Love it! I'm glad you guys are recognizing that he's really good, that's why he's the main dancer.

OG I don't find one better than the other. They're both excellent. Just different styles. Why do people have to argue about who's a better dancer, singer, rapper, or who is better looking? Just appreciate all 7 members as a whole. They're all excellent at what they do. They compliment each other and that's really all that matters. I will admit that Jimin is my ultimate bias, but that doesn't mean that I don't love and appreciate all 7.

But to your answer, I just felt the need to give correct information since even the BTS introduction vids mainly the newer ones are continually so sadly feeding new army the wrong false incorrect info either with misinformation or editing or leaving out vital info! There is a whole new generation of army who have been relying on this as the truth. International army since around two years ago has been mistranslating or manipulating BTS info from Korean like on solo stan fansites on amino app. Like for instance the official titles that BigHit gave each member that all K-Army know the truth about! But shamefully even when K-Army goes into the comments to straighten out fact from ficus one solo stan international army still refuse to believe!! The way JIMIN dances is unmatched. The body control he has is insane. He can do Hip Hop, Popping, freestyle, contemporary and Ballet. A true dance genius. jimin is the most trained dancer in bts... hoseok did street dancing all his life but jimin started popping/hip hop dancing at a young age and was later classically trained in modern/contemporary dance... it's obvious from every video that he has been classically and professionally trained for years based on how he moves.

He’s an incredible dancer that can captivate you. I’ve never seen another dancer as captivating as him other than Michael Jackson. He is a master in various forms of dance. Most people can master one or two styles, but JIMIN has mastered such a wide variety of styles but also adds his own flair to it. He’s a once in a lifetime type of performer and dancer. His body control is insane. JIMIN is also trained and has black belt in taekwondo, master at kendo, and knows other various forms of martial arts. So yes he could kick your ass. I agree it’s crazy you all haven’t noticed JIMIN. He’s such a unique performer that most people notice him and JK first.

Jimin studied contemporary dance in high school, not ballet. There are parts that are similar. His teacher told him to audition and so glad he did.
