He already said it's a dark album. He made it for himself primarily. He hinted about his second album.

In the Suchwita episode, Jimin mentioned that this album is about a particular hard time that he went through during the pandemic when he felt distant from his friends and he was drinking a lot. Thankfully, he was able to overcome it and create this beautiful album. I'm so proud of him. I love how authentic and raw this album is.

Face was an amazing album and his storytelling throughout was so creative! And Set Me Free is such a perfect ending to the album! It goes from him dealing with hardship/hurt/breakup to the interlude (you hear him at a concert- audio taken from Yet To Come Busan Concert- to driving to a bar and taking a drink) to him singing about losing/forgetting himself and his problems in Like Crazy (probably at a bar) then it’s the next morning (you hear the alarm clock) and he sings alone before he came to the realization to set himself free regardless of everything. Then he has a hidden track essentially thanking fans. Jimin did such a amazing job with his storytelling using lyrics and sound design, I can’t stop talking about it. Like with his first song Face- off (I love that song) I was first thrown off by the circus music but then it starts with “I guess the blame is on me” and he calls himself a fool (he feels like a clown). It’s so creative! Ok, now I’m off to rant about this album to someone else lol😂😅

I'd be down with just recorded live performances of all of them, that would be fine 😁😁😁 A weverse late-night slightly drunken live with Jungkook where they pull out a guitar and do Letter... Would be awesome and honestly doesn't seem impossible 😂

chapter 2 is dangerous for armies especially maknae line chose violence this time....jimin dropped his solo album nd took my breath away....like crazy seemed nd sounded so sensual to me nd the jimmy fallon performance of like crazy made me feel that why m even studying for my engineering exams...can't i be the backupdancer...they were way too close to jimin lol that i already started losing my braincells....I m in love with his album nd listening it on repeat...next up ofc we've V with those elle cover photoshoot...the moment i saw those pics especially those shirtless ones...i still remember how my mind literally went blank nd my brain wasn't able to process what m seeing in front of me...being an army since 2017,i always wished to see this side of V being shirtless nd my wish finally got fulfilled after long prayers.....nd last but not the least jk being flirty in his vlives, singing songs like unholy, nd ofc his long hair hairstyle to die for....drunk jk is on another level i swear.... nd ofc today's update about him being the brand ambassador of calvin klien nd the latest photoshoot radiated the same aura as V- "BEING SHIRTLESS".....even jimin went shirtless in set me free pt 2 mv....what's going on? I've still got so many things to do in my life....i can't die that easily

Interlude : Dive is between face-off and like crazy. It's like after ranting your bad days to someone (face-off), you just wanna drink (interlude : dive), and drown yourself in it (like crazy). And then after that, waking up back at home, you're alone again.

I'm obsessed with the b-sides on this album. And the title tracks! It's a perfect album imo.

@@evantesseract737 Same 😭 RM had a big hand in most of Jimin's previous solo songs like Serendipity, Promise etc. Since RM is not heavily involved in this album, I didn't know what to expect. But Face has exceeded all my expectations. It's so honest and relatable. I have been listening to it non-stop ever since it was released (without looping of course because I don't want my streams to be filtered 😉). I'm so excited for his next project now.

There is a hidden song called Letter which Jimin said yesterday is a fan song. Its really good like the rest of the album. Face off sound nothing like Like Crazy..

The intro to face off is so deceiving OMDS. Deffo my fave on the album (although it’s really difficult to pick cuz they’re all SO GOOD)

the album is beautifully sad, very artistic, and pure PERFECTION!!!!

Set Me Free pt2 is the “feel good” song. After wallowing in alcohol and loneliness, he finally comes out on the other side with Set Me Free.

@@icantjimout4298 you mean the doubling? of course that’s jimin! there are other background vocals by a female voice in some adlib-y parts. and that is, in fact, sumin’s voice. it’s not the first time she’s been in the bg vocals for bts. why are y’all so adamant about it all being him only? it’s just this one song they used her for background vocals. do you think jimin doesn’t know that her vocals were used for this song?? he literally produced this whole album with some of his closest producer friends/hyungs. y’all are seriously undermining jimin’s professionalism by acting like this. show him some respect for his producing choices!

The story Jimin's telling is pretty specific, but because he gives us the emotional content more than specific incidents, I connect to it in another way. The arc of this story is really familiar to a lot of LGBT+ people... like, very familiar. And Set Me Free is a coming out song - it's directly about refusing to hide who you are. He gave us a whole album and probably didn't even do it on purpose 😂

Dive was created because the songs didn't flow together well and they decided to put something between them for the transition. It's not exactly a song, in my opinion. They created it - Jimin is even credited with doing his own Foley. I find it interesting and compelling 😁 I make audio drama, and we do soundscapes and things, so it really felt like he took a walk into my world there

I would love for you to react to Jimin's song letter, it is a hidden song in his album, it is also beautiful, Jimin's presentation of like crazy in Jimmy Fallon is amazing, Jimin looked amazing

When I heard Dive my first impression was him in a day of a concert. He had said he cried before a concert, then sang normally, but cried again afterwards. Then I heard him going home in a car and pouring himself a drink. Day done.

The pandemic is the time and space the things he talks in face-off happens, this one is about betrayal, it's very explicit, the person took his money and trow their relationship to the trash, Jimin clearly don't want to see the FACE of that person again, he just recently make it clear for the fans in a interview with his bandmate suga about this particular song.
