What I LOVEDDDD about this MV besides them XDD is that it felt like they WERE being unashamedly and unapologetically themselves and LOVING it. They looked like they were having so much fun accepting themselves, and it’s incredibly inspiring to be like “y’know what? I DO love myself and I’m GONNA enjoy being myself!” Love these boys 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 ALSO I got some Spanish vibes contrary to everybody else HAHAAA but it reminded me a lot of Fiesta by +plus (for any other FT fans)! The references are INSANE even as a fan that doesn’t get them all 😂 “YOU CANT STOP ME LOVIN MYSELF”
The beat is a mix of South African and traditional Korean! A lot of people are saying that this song has a "World Cup" vibe because it sounds global af. You guys need to hear IDOL ft. Nicki Minaj! Queen snapped! ‘There are too many members and they all look the same.’ = BTS duplicate themselves hundreds of times ‘K-pop is fake and plastic’ = BTS make inhumanly big, obviously fake versions of themselves ‘They’re too Korean’ = BTS dance in Hanboks (traditional korean clothing) 'Take off the filters' from one ARMY to RM on a live session = RM says I do what I want & puts on the cute filters in the MV 'Don't wear the glasses, they don't look good on you' from one Korean ARMY to V on a live session = wears the big aviator glasses in the MV 'The visuals in Kpop is a bit much' = BTS uses crazy CGI/over-edits THIS MV IS THE BIGGEST FVCK YOU I LOVE IT
