He actually does his research, appreciates BTS, their music, and their messages. He asks meaningful, engaging questions every time and makes the members comfortable. Rini Trianti nope it’s not signed. It could be that he liked the shirt and bought one for himself. He’s the shopaholic of the group anyway.. Haha. Or he bought it out of the auction and wash the signature off so that it won’t be so obvious. Yet, we can conclude that Zack has a strong impact to BTS, espc Tae. He went that far to put that particular shirt in an MV. That must be really something for Zack too though it’s “just” his job. I just love how BTS is making real connections to real people and doesn’t really put distance to a great interviewer like him. They really are bonding with people..

It's because he DOES speak english so they give him the microphone but he pretends not to know how to speak so that he doesn't need to answer

I am so hyped and pissed at the same time. Once again our man Zach were asking our boys IMPORTANT QUESTIONS. Bts was grateful just like they were last year when they had an interview with him. But why are the ppl telling Zach to wrap it up? Ugh! 😠 You can clearly see his irritation. Bts too. They are comfortable with him.

i feel like they enjoy zachs interviews just as much as we do. they do these short interviews and many have the same questions but zach is always prepared and seems like he just loves music and is always so prepared (with every artist he interviews) and i think they can feel that. really hope well get the full lenght 30-40 minute interview at one point with zach.. maybe on their tour if they dont have time now

I love that Zach took the time to not only listen to the album but to look up the lyric translations. You could see how much Namjoon really appreciated it and how happy it made him. All other interviewers need to take notes because THIS is how you should be interviewing them.

You're still the best American interviewer these boys have ever had. You ask meaningful questions, and really pay attention to them every time you see them. Us ARMY appreciate you, so much. Thank you for respecting these guys unlike anyone else, you go above and beyond with them, and it's so sweet. We love you, and I'm sure BTS loves you as well. Please do more with them in the future if possible. 💓

Zach has a real appreciation for his guests. He treats them as musicians before they are celebrities. He interviews with a sincere interest and such respect, and he asks out of complete humility. Serious respect for Zach

I will never get over how Namjoon looked when the interviewer spoke about their songs at the beginning of the video with utmost sincerity and shock...he really did appreciate it so much. My heart ❤️ so humble, he’ll never know just how much their music touches people...

Why was Zach only given a couple minutes with BTS, despite being the best and most in-tune interviewer they've had, while some of the most disinterested and repetitive interviews and interviewers got so long with them? Zach asks the questions that matter, like about UNICEF and about their hard work, not what they like best about themselves and who they want to collab with. Zach, army love you, no, we purple you and respect you so much for the effort you give for our boys.Thank you so much, please keep doing what you're doing. I never knew being a good interviewer was a talent, but your interviews have proven me wrong xx

i think they all pretty much had about 5 minutes. or then zach was just added to the list last minute and didnt have as much time as others. maybe if they have time and zach gets in contact with them they can do a full length interview (30-40 minutes) when they are on their tour or something

ann oh I hope so! A full length interview is needed with him, at this stage! Just...the other ones paint them in such a bad light, to western media and such. They're so bored with all the repetition, even when they try to hype it up. They look like six helpless chickens following their awkward leader around. It just annoys me, they're so intelligent and interesting, but they look so bad in other interviews. We need more Zach's in the world!

From what I've seen, Zach appears to be a good person, but I cannot find any information about that signed shirt. Was anyone able to verify that the shirt was sold, how much it sold for, and if the money actually went to the UNICEF campaign?

The thing about Zach's interviews is he actually seems to be listening and gives a thoughtful response. He doesn't just fire mindless questions. I can tell how much Namjoon appreciates it.

In their first interview, Namjoon was so thankful that Zach asked insightful questions and mentioned their unicef campaign, he literally said he was the only person who’d asked about it so far and he said thanks so many times. I really want to see an hour long interview with him.

We know they are only allocated a short time slot each but his questions are always the kind of questions we fans want answered-not the same dribble asked over and over by others. I hope BTS will give some time to him in the future for a longer interview when they aren't so pushed for time like when they're touring perhaps. :)

When zach was poked with the pen to remind him that they were out of time, the way he shrugged it off with an unbothered look and kept on asking them questions!! Whereas any other interviewer wouldve wrapped it up immediately!! God damn i love zach for this he's amazing at this

ann a lot of interviewers do, actually. Take ellen for suppose. When she knows the times up she just goes in with the final quick question or just something regarding what the celebs are promoting and thats it its over

“I love you zach though” - he meant that.. the way he came saying “zaaach” with a big smile on his face at the beginning and thanking him at the end.. RM really appreciates his interviews for sure. Makes me happy :)

Swati s He's just way too shy in front of big crowds and people he doesn't know. He worries a lot about the things he should say and most of the time he takes too long, so he doesn't get to say anything. I can relate to him so much, because although I can speak english well, I never do it in front of people, just because I'm scared I'd make a mistake.

This interview and Liam's interview are the best. They actually know the right questions to ask, they make them comfortable unlike some interviews that kept on asking about their lovelife, weird fans and other awkward and rude questions. In a world full of rude interviewers be like Zach and Liam

Screw the people who told Zach to hurry up. He needs more time with them because his questions are not the same as the other ones. They are creative and fun. Give him a raise too.

*I love how Zach prepares himself when it comes to jotting notes down and making sure that every detail it organized. It's things like this that makes a good interview.* *You know hearing the same old boring question such as "who's your celebrity?" or "do you have girlfriend". That's what ticks me off the most because it just doesn't make since. It's very irrelevant to the situatuon. Just like Liam, Zach was ready to interview the boys just from study the info that he look for to getting to know the boys better. This is why I have so much respect for this.*

I just realised while watching this, RM said some lyrics in his song 'Love' and this was months before LY:Answer. I mean, I'm not surprised that they did this but still. Also, Zach is such a great interviewer, I've watched a few of his interviews, like Tori Kelly's, Steve Aoki's and MonstaX's and he actually puts effort in his interviews and asks what's necessary/meaningful questions.

Gonna watch Zach interviewing Namjoon for indigo and i can't believe we've come this far😭 I'm glad we can atleast trust a few people

I love how they were poking Zach with the pen because time was up! His reaction was super cute and his facial was like “bish please stop. I’m talking to legends. Don’t take this opportunity away from meeeee”

I wish this was 30mins long 😅 you can see how much joon appreciates zach listening to ly:tear and when he said "yknow i love you zac" my heart melted 💜💕 one of those geniune interviews and armys can always count on zac to ask the real and deep questions. Thank you so much for this. Bless! 💟

This interview is always one of the best, and you can tell that Namjoon really likes him and cares about what he has to say. To see it reciprocated is rare for this most recent set of interviews, so it's refreshing

Elle Briske i would personally even say that the boys sometimes seemed more interested than the interviewers, which is pretty sad

absolutely the only interview that actually got something different out of the boys. You can clearly see they're happy that they didnt get asked shit like ''Favorite american actress'' or some bullshit. Im really happy they got to experience what a devoted interviewer seems like, not everyone is about body parts and Hollywood crushes

Zach is literally my favourite interviewer I’ve watched so far, he skipped straight to the important and meaningful questions and I could tell Joon really appreciated him for that 😔😔🤝

The dry interviews get more time while the best interviews get less time

Okay not only were they interrupted so quickly, they interrupted a freaking ENGLISH VERSION OF NAMJOON'S-WISE-WORD PHILOSOPHY CLASS WHYYYYY. I hate how the repetitive irrelevant dry ass interviews were like 10 minutes long and here we have a freaking interview like this and they were rushed.

4:04 Zach looking back shaking his head because he didn't want to stop talking to BTS. The staff was touching/pulling Zach to get his full attention because time was up, BTS had other placed to be so they had to wrap it up quickly. When Zach said "I could talk with you for hours" he really meant that.. 💜💜

do you like messi ? Ikr.. Zack is probably the only entertainment interviewer (edit: in America) that ask good questions, do his research, and let the artists he interviews be comfy and open up to him, like any actual reporters should do. He treats them as humans and not just like some robot that passes from celeb to celeb as many as possible.. I hope that Zack can get to do podcasts with BTS.. surely that’ll be amazing to watch!

right zach sang is literally the only interviewer that asks meaningful and interesting questions (that i know of) instead of asking “who do you want to collaborate with” or “what do you like to do in the usa” 50 times. it’s tired. zach asks questions that we actually care about. those interviews where they say that army asked the questions have to be lying bc why would we want to know their favorite american food for the 100th time.

"Can you define love?" Why I thought that J-hope would say "Humberger and sprite" at this question? 😂😂😂

zach you are one of best interviewers period, but with bts its so much more than that. you have a bond with them and its so comfortable and amazing to watch. thank you for asking the deeper questions and taking time to get to know the boys. it truly means a lot, you always do an outstanding job !! i hope they can stop by your studio at some point so you can talk to them without being rushed edit: i just read how ur gonna have them in ur studio this summer, i cant wait !!

Zach came through with another great interview! I really liked his questions, they’re always thoughtful. But I hated how they rushed him and he didn’t get more time with the boys. You could tell how much Namjoon appreciates Zach as well EDIT: Zach’s also donating the money from the shirt to the Love Myself campaign, like he’s such a sweetheart

When I see BTS sooooo humble ...it gives the idea about about Korean people. I think they r the most nice people in the world..

The fact that he was rolling his eyes when he was told to rap it up showed how interested he was in the guys. WE FUCKING LOVE YOU ZACH

I really love how comfortable Namjoon is in this interview. And how he seems to actually WANT to answer these questions. Right off the bat, the first question wasn’t, Collabs? Favorite thing in America? Favorite body part? (To the last example:... Really?) He jumped right into what ARMY wants to know. He seems to be the only interviewer smart enough to do his research... Or maybe he’s the only one that cares enough to try. We ARMY and BTS, I’m sure, really appreciate it. :)

That awkward moment you say that the shirt is ridiculous and tae not did he used the green one previously, But also used it in their MV Idol 🤣🤣 LOLOL at least the money went into the unicef

The language barrier obviously makes it difficult to communicate fully. I wish they all spoke the same language because damn BTS and Zach would have some really deep and interesting conversations together

he really did his homework with this questions........... this is the type of interviewers we need. Almost all other interviews are BS. repeating the same questions. thank you zach for this.

Vickie' S although you can realize that some of the questions are very similar but he is doing them in his own unique way. Like, he even explain about what is the album about. 👏👏👏 Zack is quite an amazing person and i wish I could get that shirt and weart it for the rest of my life ❤❤😂😅

I came back to this interview bc of the Q) Can you define love in your life? Namjoon translating it, then Hobi answering first; Jungkook always takes a minute to process the question so he can answer. 4:00 he thinks of something (even mouths/says it to himself) before looking directly at Jimin. 4:10 you can see both JK and JM's kinda smug reaction to him saying he doesn't know what to say.. unmistakable honestly. Jikook never fail to amaze me

Zach is literally me explaining why I love Love Yourself: Tear to everyone I know. He is my favorite BTS interviewer yet and he is absolutely awesome because he really prepared himself. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors and he totally deserves a raise!

'what's the inspiration behind the album?' 'what's your favorite thing about eachother?' every single interview

Namjoon even said he love zach omg Im so soft this is the softest interview ever

I love how Zach pays attention to the artist, or in this case, artists, and ask questions relevent to them. He's been my favorite BTS interviewer by far, this year and last year

I’m crying at the staff rushing Zach and how annoyed he looked lmaoo like let him talk with BTS.

I feel so sorry for Zach, he just wanted to talk on a professional and relevant level in which BTS would be comfortable and thankful for but people were pressuring him to hurry up. However, interviewers who ask the same thing over and over again and don’t actually know anything about BTS, their music or their morals are given 10 minutes for interviews... Zach! ARMY support you and thank you for your respect towards BTS and we are so happy that BTS are so comfortable and easy going when you interview them☺️

He always asks good questions and I feel like he really understands them!!!
