My daughter is Army. She is crazy about BTS. I could never understand why but for the last month I started listening to them, researching, watching all the interviews and I must say I became an Army too. They are amazing! Sincere, genuine, polite. As a parent I can say that their parents did a great job raising them. These boys are treasure. I wish them all the success and all the best. They are so loved all over the world.

Kim Namjoon was first member to join BTS.His mom opposed hom joining BTS because she wanted him to study well.He used to work so hard with the productions yet his mom would break his computers and mics so that he would concentrate on his studies. Kim seokjin, who joined bighit because of his visuals, got criticized that he had no talent in singing but he proved all of them wrong. He wanted to make his mom proud and wanted his mom to have something to brag about her son to their judgemental neighbours. Min yoongi, whose parents didn't support him well in his music career, had to manage his life on his own.If he had to take the bus,he didn't have money to eat.If he spent it on food,he couldn't take the bus.But now,he's earning millions. Jung hoseok had earlier auditioned in JYP but was not accepted in the later half.Being a street dancer and having so much talent,he almost gave up and wanted to leave BTS but his members opposed him in that and he definitely didn't let them down.Yet,he was judged because of his visuals. He auditioned because he wanted his father to be proud of him. Park Jimin, who had to starve himself only because people called him"fat".He came all the way from Busan to pursuade his dreams and used to practice so much that once he slept for only 3 hours. That is what has made him perfect today. Kim Taehyung lived with his grandmother for 15 yrs to support her in her farm.He had always been a part of BTS but was never shown in any promotion _not until they debut. Taehyung said he used to practice filming log so that when he's finally announced as a member he can do a lot of for his fans. Jeon Jungkook came to Seoul from Busan at a very young age to persuade his dreams. He even travelled all the way to America to learn dancing.Once Jimin caught him crying alone and when Jimin asked why,Jk said that he misses his family. BTS,they are global legends today but they had their own hardships too. So please stop calling them overrated and learn to respect them. They deserve what they're doing today.

Well said. The years in a small room on bunk beds, the free shows, the hardships they went through like Tae losing his grandparents, yoongi having his music thrown out by his parents as they thought music would not support him. All gave up living in the outside world to get where they are. Humble and respectfully, loving and kind. Each so different but all so close through love of each other, music and ARMY

I had many tears over this video. What comes to mind is mental health issues that are not dealt with, and it becomes toxic. I feel sad for BTS and everything they went through. What hurts me the most is what was said about V after the death of his grandmother that he loved so dearly. How can people be so cruel? The joy that BTS brings to the world shows how strong they are to get past their hurts, and help others. It is admirable. Not too many that can be as humble, loving and caring as these performers.

I’m a brand new bts fan (literally less than a week ago) and all I can say is that from the first time I watched one of their performances it was undeniable how talented and dedicated they are to what they do and I couldn’t believe that I shrugged them off for so long because I too, thought that they were just another K-pop band. But going down the bts youtube rabbit hole (as one does when they realize how amazing they are) I just knew that these guys are so special and passionate. They’ve given me nothing but joy when watching either a performance/music video, interview or any of the cute fan complications of their group antics. They really give their 100% and more to everything they do, each one brings his own unique talent and skills to the table and no one - not even a hater - can ignore that. More than anything, I’m moved by how much they love and respect each other, how they protect and uplift each other and making everyone around them as happy as possible. What a special bond that very few people will get to experience in this life and they deserve all the success and recognition they’ve received. I learned all this in less than a week. Unfortunately, it’s usually the people who judge without bothering to understand them or even listen to their music who think they have the right to tear them down. Whatever though, bts will continue to make history.

As a new baby army who started listening to their songs in Nov 2022 I want to be honest . I do not deserve to be called an army because I thought falling for their looks and listening to their songs was what being an army was all about until I came across your channel and watched all the videos which gave me an in-depth understanding of who BTS actually are , where they came from , meaning behind their concepts and everything that they do . I feel like I became an army TODAY watching all these videos and knowing them in a different light other than looks and dances. I will make sure from today to understand them from their POV and know the meaning behind everything that they do rather than just visuals . Thank you so much to armies like you making these videos and sharing them to ignorant armies like me and opening our minds to the real world of BTS. Every new army should watch your videos . 💜💜💜💜

We always assure the Korean Armys that we try to spread BTS internationally to the point people are annoyed but what can we do... that’s the only way we can do at that time. I recently became a member of the BTS Army. I had been a huge music fan my whole life. Always listening and singing along. A few years ago I started developing health ussues all of which caused excruciating constant pain. One by one all of the things I loved doing had to be stopped because I physically could no longer do them. My job as a Respiratory Therapist, gardening, working on improving my house, needlework, walks, sleeping in my bed, ( I have to sleep upright in a recliner), cooking big meals for family, etc. It felt like I was disappearing. That I was losing myself. Over time I started losing my interest in music as well. I had not listened to music for a couple of years now. The other day, I heard a beautiful song. I wanted to know what it was and who sang it. I found out it was "Life Goes On" by BTS. I loved up the English translation and I fell in love with it more. Then I started looking into BTS. What I found out about them made me a steadfast fan. I feel a love for music again, and I credit them for that. I feel like they saved me. They are such beautiful people inside and out. They have overcome so many hurdles and kept going and didn't let anyone stop them from their goals. I admire that so much. They truly deserve the praise and awards that they have received, and much much more. I wish that their was some way I could repay them for helping to bring me back to life. I am 61 yrs old and proudly pronounce myself a fan. I love BTS for their talent, perseverance, love of their fans, and big hearts. They are the very definition of Idol. May they forever be safe, happy and prosperous.

I don't know how they stayed strong but I'm relieved they were mentally strong enough to endure this. Thanks to ARMYs from 2014-2017. It was hard on you guys as the fan base was small back then.

i couldn't agree with this and the replies more!! i'm so incredibly thankful they stayed here and together. not many poeple would've been able to make it through, specially at such a young age (and you can't blame them). i respect and admire them so much for doing so, i genuinely appreciate and look up to them and their way of falling, but knowing how to land. knowing how to get back up. i can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to be dragged down by your own country and have your name and yourself as an artist and an individual be disrespected and made fun of. it's truly shameful and embarrassing how they were treated by the music industry. yet, they kept going, kept fighting for their dreams and ended up shutting everyone up. it's sad to know that in order to have your dreams taken seriously you have to win awards and make it big. yet, i'm insanely proud and moved by their dedication and how they proved them all wrong. if you really think about it, it's very hard NOT to give up when going through what they went through. them working even harder when no one was taking them seriously proves how bad they wanted this and how much love, faith, dedication and commitment they they have for and put in what they do. old armys worked so hard and didn't give up on them and i think that's what makes bts' and army's bond and connection so strong and outstanding. neither armys or bts gave up on each other and i think that's truly magical and remarkable. i hope they know that this will never end and we will never leave them, armys and bts aren't something temporary; we will never die. now to bts and army: never stop fighting!! together we are bulletproof, forever and till the endless ends 💜 (sorry for making this so long btw, i got carried away sjhsjkdsjs)

If any American companies are involved i sincerely hope the use legal action and hit them HARD where it hurts them most thier wallets!! This was eye-opening, I am new to BTS music. I have found so many of their songs to be, not only visually stunning in the presentation in videos and in live concerts, but also thought provoking. The guy near the end that said, "I don't understand what they're saying" is just lazy. I don't understand Korean but, there are ways to get the lyrics in English to the songs. The vitriol, IMO, is based on jealousy. The comments also near the end, that noted that the "system" that controls a country's music industry ignores BTS' success and accomplishments because they did not go through that system is quite illuminating. Since they can't make money off of BTS and they can't control how and when BTS music is aired or streamed, that is their way to try to downplay what BTS has accomplished. The group and Big Hit have had the last laugh though. They are successful after over a decade of hard work and sacrifice. The haters should either go make something of themselves or slink back into their little holes of envy and jealousy and let the rest of us enjoy the music.

I must admit this video had been so informative to me as I never realized the hardship have been through. As a Native American and married to an Asian man and have 2 boys hit me hard. I wouldn't want my kids to be bullied for being Asian. I always told my kids to be proud of who they are. My husband is Chinese and my kids are Chinese Americans. I know BTS are Korean but the hate on Asians needs to stop. I enjoy kpop music, I have a few favorite bands. Groups. Simple reason is I enjoy the music period. BTS KEEP performing. Keep making amazing music

There is no group in the world, past or present, who have captured AND given us youth like BTS. Shame on the dark side and the 'stupid's' of this world who have gotten away with their shameful commentary AND even got the publicity?!?! ARMY has shown that we are GREATER than all of you. Shame on The Grammy's...not that I care about them...and I hope that BTS know that they are extraordinay and that the grammy's aren't! As for the ignorant mouths outside of Korea...SHAME ON YOU... ...and then there is the Korean journalists and Korean public forum who have done their utmost to sideline the greatest Boy Band in the World, THANK G that The World is substantially bigger than you. They just prove what a damaged society Korea is... GO BTS...GO BIG HIT...you are astounding and colossal on a World Stage!

That boygroup (to me hardly a boygroup that they are going into middle aged men. They've been that long time being famous in Japan.) is the one who paid a big chunk of money to Bruno Mars to creat an English song recently to target Billboard after saying BTS only got #1 cuz it was in English.
