The second time Jungkook danced to up & down, he had been asked to do the dance in a more masculine style. He did that iteration with only a few seconds to think about it.

J-Hope's love of Red Velvet and Jin's love of Twice always give me life. There's always at least one member in each boy group who are girl group dance experts. It's always variety show gold. It's one of the reasons we don't have much newer content of BTS doing girl group dances. They don't do variety shows anymore. "Some of this stuff sounds good" there's a world of K-Pop out there that's amazing. Even if you decided to keep the channel just BTS reactions, you should check out more Korean music.

When idols go to these music shows, like music festivals or M Countdown, they arrive early (like 5 am) and leave late (like 10 pm). All idol groups have 2 rehearsals, plus rehearsals for specialty performances... So the boys have seen all the girl and boy idols perform and probably know all their choreos.

Ah I miss seeing the boys do girl group dances. They haven’t done them like this in actual years. We got the tiniest taste of it in Bon voyage season 4 with Hobi and Tae in the kitchen. But I legit miss seeing them do this. My all time fave clip is Jimin and Hobi dancing to 4 minute: Whatcha doin’ today back around 2015. It’s an old Bangtan bomb. Ah it’s so cute!

When they're on music shows sometimes they can watch other idol groups performances in their waiting room, that's why they keep looking at the TV in some of those videoclips, trying to keep up with the choreography. I really love watching them goofing around dancing to others idols songs, even if I'm not fan of those groups, it shows appreciation for their fellow idols.

I’ve only recently branched out into other groups. None compare to BTS but the girl groups Twice and Mamamoo are really good.

Thanks guys! So glad AJJ got that long-awaited haircut :). Just a note about that very first Red Velvet clip (I wish they'd included), but the first time, JK and J-Hope were dancing the choreo as is, but the second time, the hosts asked them to dance it in a 'masculine' style. Hobi said he'd follow JK, so JK had to take a minute and figure out how to interpret it - I love how they could show that variation. I remember reading once - although I cannot verify this at all - that certainly J-Hope (but maybe all the boys) would monitor girl group routines as part of their warm-up. It's like Blaze said, it just shows the respect they have for the different types of choreo that's out there. Plus, as a dancer, it's both tempting & useful to play around with different kinds of movement and expand your body's vocabulary. Also, people are right - the 'Coming of Age Ceremony' rehearsal is great - JK OWNS that one :). Thanks again guys, and stay well! 💜
