There are so many things you notice About sakshma - she slayed her Indian accent - she gave respect to entire group by asking them questions in their age manner - before that show tradition she asked their permission - she complemented V's voice, Jooni's outstanding intellectual speech talent, Jin vocal talent, efforts and hardwork, JK's hair, hobi's pure nature, Suga's struggle, and jimin's confidence 😘 About BTS- - even they're tired they put smile when camera pointed them❤️ - jk has that desi accent (watch him saying namaste) - V literally flustered because at last someone asked him about his UNIQUE Voice - Finally someone conveyed ARMYs real emotion about Jin's talent - members felt comfortable because the question quite made for their personalities and experience which is great.

I live in the US, and many past interviews have been awful; often disrespect, bordering on xenophobic. Thankfully it's improved somewhat, especially since their latest trip to NYC with their president. She was amazing, allowing each member to answer in an intelligent and introspective manner as well as letting them show their humbleness and lovely souls. Bravo! 💜👏🏻💜

I think we can all confirm that this was one the best interviews bts has ever gotten. I loved that she didn’t skip any of them she asked one by and the questions were very interesting and fun. I also love how she complimented each one of them. She really feels like an army. I love everything about this interview it was fun and light hearted💜 I hope army in India have it easy and we support them no matter what ❤️

I loved this interview! she didn't make uncomfortable questions and the fact that she made them blush without trying made me blush!! at 11:20 V said that his teacher used to scold him because his singing felt like there's something in his mouth....that's why they were laughing....the translation was a lil' low key that's why.

I knew there had to be something weird with the translation. Does Tae speak a dialect or something? There have been several moments in other videos where the members have commented that he slipped into dialect. My husband is from Guatemala and speaks Spanish and Qjanjobal. So. It may be an issue where he didnt quite understand the translation. This seems to happen alot. Does anyone know?

@@FatNebraskaMom yes, he has pretty heavy one and when they first started I remember interviewers like making fun of him and saying he doesn’t speak Korean well. :/ But I think it’s just funny to them because most Korean media is in Seoul dialect because it is considered the “standard” way of speaking. But only RM and Jin are from Seoul area so all the rest had to kinda retrain their dialect. But now that they’ve lived in Seoul for over 10 years when they speak in their home dialects it’s usually to make the others laugh. And sometimes because Tae just doesn’t care about what people expect. Lolol.

She found the secret to a good interview: Show your interest in the subject, be excited and responsive to their answers, and be respectful and expect a respectful answer. I loved how they straightened their back when answering, sign of respect and their voice so quiet also indicates honesty.

Ok, this deserves sooooooo many more views! This is without a doubt the best (especially English/Korean translated) interview I've EVER seen. Sakshma has done what seems to be impossible with most interviewers and made her guest feel comfortable so that the whole interview can be both professional and comedic...and wholesome and positive all around!? Asians all over are so respectful and always feel gratitude towards the hardships they faced .

If people are having problem with this interview, then thats their personal problem. As a neutral person, I don't see anything that is controversial or offensive at all. All i can see is a responsible host and happy artists interacting intellectually. So if anyone finds it troublesome, then it's their problem. They are awesome artists and they deserve all the respect. Their appearance or anything related to their personal life doesn't wash away the fact that they are ruling the world with their talent. Any intelligent person can see that

All the controversy surrounding this interview can be said to have stemmed from the fact that the interviewer was sort of an easy target for the commenters that are just in creating problems. When you think about it no one shakes up a storm when any interviewers from really popular channels sometimes ask the idols questions that really make them uncomfortable, e.g., one of the most common questions that pops up, is when the idols are asked about the writing process of their songs, when it is well known that most of them perform the songs that are given to them by their management company unless, like in the case of BTS and a few other groups, they specifically emphasize the fact that their songs are written by the members themselves. During this question you can visibly see the distress in their eyes as they struggle to divert the topic while avoiding any awkwardness. You don't see anyone lambasting those interviewers for putting the idols in the spot, when they can certainly be blamed for not doing the minimum amount of research on their guest. On the other we have this interviewer who has clearly done her research and is asking questions tailored to show each member in the best possible light and we find the naysayers coming down on her heavily and misconstruing her past social media presence and using it as ammunition to attack her. The reason they were eager and bold enough to do that is because this channel mostly has a viewership made up of Indians, primarily. For most of world this would be the first time they are visiting this channel because of BTS, so they are unafraid to attack the interviewer. While they do not attack the popular channels from the US or the UK because these channels have a steady viewership made up of people all over the world and always have a steady stream of guests who are as popular as BTS and would not really be hurt by any unfounded attacks on their person. So, this is simple case of cowardly bullies finding a weak target to dump their frustrations on.

Okay I came to watch this because of the supposed controversy happening with this interview but I can see absolutely nothing wrong with it. In fact, please please PLEASE let Sakshma interview BTS again and other music groups as well!!! She's such an amazing interviewer and actually asked them well-thought-out questions. It's also so obvious that they were comfortable with her, and I think its somewhat because she radiates true army energy. She's well versed in their concepts, eras, and even said she watches lots of their dance videos. She's not just listening to the first 10 seconds of the song like a lot of other interviewers and claiming to know it, or asking them what western artist they want to collab with. Also, a smaller but super important detail-she knew all of their names! Not to mention that she also knew very specific things about each member! Thank you so much to Sakshma for taking the time to ask BTS thoughtful questions, making them feel comfortable, and overall being a fantastic interviewer! Army purples you!

This is one of the best interviews of BTS I have seen. Her questions were very thoughtful and interesting. The way she speaks is almost musical. I could listen to her all day. The boys have met their match in charisma and charm!

OMG! so true. Glad someone pointed out about the way she speaks and her charisma. I think that's also one of the reasons why the boys looked so captivated other than her questions and beauty throughout the interview without zoning out. And she's only 23 and born in Feb, 1998, thus even younger than all the members of BTS. Yet she talks so maturely and respectfully. It goes to show that mental maturity is independent of one's age. It might also be because Indian culture is pretty spiritual and philosophical. Btw she is also a finalist of Miss India 2016, where she also won beauty with brain title. And she is a trained dancer, a dance instructor, actress, model, Film critic and television anchor. This show is her own under Times News Media Network's subsidiary zoom and E-now. She's the director and producer of it and also oversees technicalities. How talented she is. She also has a degree in business and was a topper of her university!!

Her accent is so beautiful as well.

The questions were very mature and fit each of them. And they all looked so at home. This was one of the most comfortable interviews Bts has ever had.

They were so happy about the compliments 😂😭❤️

This is by far THE BEST interview with BTS I have ever seen. Kudos to the boys but most importantly the lovely woman who interviewed them. She is so gorgeous, articulate, classy, and she asked the most incredible questions! WOW! 💜

Sakshma Srivastav is so pretty 😍 also this was probably the best interview with BTS I’ve seen

@@beomgyusfiance2811 yeah I have seen your other comments too and you are really embarrassing and such a hater, If you have been a bts fan for a long time and have watched most of their interviews you'd know how different other interviews are, like they have no interesting questions, always same questions and in some interviews you even see the discomfort the members show. Stop being a hater, this was such a great interview and she spoke very well, that's why we are hyping her lol.

The interviewer is so pretty and she was respectful to them. My heart melted when they said " Indian bts army u guys will be in our hearts" in hindi 💜

Someone give this interviewer an award, these questions were amazing!

For anyone wondering what BTS said in Hindi it was, “Indian BTS ARMY you live in our hearts.” 💜💜💜

I’m a hardcore army but while watching this I was surprised that I simped over her more than bts. I think it’s because she just knows how to talk to people and make them feel welcome 🤗

This interview was so good she asked good questions that no one has asked she knew all the members without trouble she gave them. All their own time. To shine and gave them. All the same. Attention and care she was so nice and fun 10/10 love her

This is the only interview in which none of the members felt left out and all of them answered has genuine reactions smiles, laughs, giggles, chuckles.

her dress os very gorgeous i kept staring at it. I LOVE THIS!! and I'm so glad she asked really great questions especially acknowledge the fact that J hope donated money to people in need something not related to singing or performing but meaningful and personal about him. Also never would I have thought that I could hear BTS speaking in Hindi I am not from India I am from the Caribbean but I have Indian ancestry so I kind of understand the language. the way kookie said Namaste was on point and RM got the full sentence correct in one go 😍 lets hope they go visit Indian Armys soon after covid. I'm still waiting here in New York for my concert too 😭

Aladdin or Jasmine are not Indian!! They are from the Middle-East characters. Indian and Middle-East cultures are totally different. I keep seeing people saying Aladdin and Jasmine are from India when they are not. And I find her eyebrows attractive as Indian girls usually have thicker eyebrows and in the west, usually girls like thick eyebrows as well as it can literally change how a person looks completely. On certain facial features like that of Indian, thick eyebrows are suitable. It might be different for Korean facial features standards.

I am just frustrated cuz I see Indian culture and songs being stereotyped in not just in Korean industry but also in other industry as well. They mix Indian with Middle East cultures quite often and it can get quite disrespectful without proper research especially in this internet era. Btw I'm an Indian so I can tell. Also the comment I made on your Sakshma's eyebrows, I just wanted you to appreciate the diversity in people's looks especially if that person likes the looks he/she has. Sorry, I guess I was not very clear about that. And Sakshma had already replied to one such comment on her recent insta live a bit savagely that she likes her bushy eyebrows even if some people say she should thin out her eyebrows. So, she clearly likes this feature of hers cuz if people keep trying to find faults in others looks, they might become self-conscience or lose confidence. That was my point I wanted to convey in my previous comment but wasn't clear.

@@poonampatel9060 actually the director of Aladdin said the movie was also inspired by India, hence a lot of the words in the movie are Indian words. Even the palace was modeled after the Taj Mahal. And the main characters were modeled off of Indian people, which is why they have dark skin. The live action just casted people who were lighter skinned so it was confusing. As a kid in the 90s, I remember when Aladdin came out and the whole world was excited to have a Indian Disney movie. Little did we know 20+ years later, people would try to change the history of the movie without even researching into it. Also Jasmine has thick eyebrows

@@Lisa-qm5bc I had just said previously that I'm an Indian in this comment thread, and that means I know more about my culture and my native country than that director of Aladdin who mixed both Indian and Middle-Eastern cultures to make them seem as just one culture when it's not. And I have watched the cartoon version of Aladdin, but not the live action and I did not find any words in the cartoon version which were "Indian" words. You clearly don't know that India has 1000s of languages. In fact 23 languages are official languages of India with many states in India have there own language. In fact, India is so diverse that its languages and cultures vary every few kilometers (Hence, India believes in Unity in Diversity motto). And that director of Aladdin is wrong for stereotyping Indian culture with Middle-Eastern culture by thinking India is Taj Mahal and Taj Mahal is equal to India!!!! This is the reason why I said there's sterotyping going on in NOT just in korean industry but in other industries as well like in Hollywood!!! And just cuz Taj Mahal is made using islamic architecture (note: a reason for this sterotyping might be cuz most middle-eastern countries are islamic states and they have mosques made with this similar islamic architecture), doesn't mean that India has just that type of architecture and religion only in India (for your info, Taj mahal is actually a tomb and not really a palace where people lived in and India have so many different palaces and religions. Do search Rajasthan, a state in India, palaces and temples of India to know more about other types of architectures in India). And if you r thinking that India is just a desert like shown in Aladdin, then u r sooo wrong cuz India is also very diverse like the US in its geography. Like India has mountaineous and snowy states like Himachal Pradesh (the Himalayas mountains also found here), union territories like Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh, tropical states like Meghalaya where world's most rainfall also occurs, desert state like Rajasthan, and states with many coconut trees like Kerala, and so much more. Also, Indians don't just have dark skin tones. We have diversity in our looks too even in skin tones, which can range from fair to dark (just mentioning cuz you said the director gave Jasmine dark skin cuz she was modeled off of Indian people). In fact, search up northeastern states like mizoram, sikkim, meghalaya, etc. states' people and you'll see mongoloid races there too, but they are still Indians. And just cuz Jasmine had thick eyebrows doesn't make her Indian automatically cuz I have seen people from other countries having thick eyebrows. It's like saying Japanese, Chinese and Korean cultures are the same when they're not just cuz they look similar. Also, the costumes used in the cartoon Aladdin were not Indian traditional clothes (do search up Indian traditional clothes like saree, kurti, salwar kameez, lehenga etc. for Indian girls/women traditional clothes and kurta, serwaani, dhoti kurta,etc. for Indian male traditional clothes).

Aa this girl is really marvelous like jimin had literally blushed hard seeing rm... V don't know is he trying to flirt with her...he is kinda cute talking with her... God wish we have another interview

This is without a doubt the best interview with them, she asked some good substantial questions, not the fluff questions they usually get. They need to be taken more seriously than just a "boy band". Taehyung was a little flustered, surprised he didn't have more to say...he does have a beautiful voice.

This was the most organic interview that I watched in so long geez, that was great

I love how she asked them questions in order of their ages. Starting from Jin and at last JungKook. That was so respectful. ❤❤

Her body language and speaking is so impressive ✨✨

10:45 I didn't count how many times I saw it and again came back just to see V low-key flirting with Sakshma and Hobi's bursting into laughter out of the blue 😂😭

This is a great interview because it truly focuses on the artists: their work, their impact, their process ect.. It truly allows you to admire/see them outside of a brand; but as a person or people who are passionate about their work

Learnt how to turn negative aspects of life into motivation from Yoongi! 3. Learnt how it’s important to help people who are suffering and truly care from JHope! 4. Noticed how efficiently RM has led the team for more than 8 eight years with amazing leadership skills ! 5. Understood how hard celebrities work to lead their followers in the right direction from Jimin ! 6. Learnt that talent and hard work go hand in hand from V ! 7. Learnt how to appreciate all the good people around us from Jungkook!
