" Young Forever" , sung by audience members, is the song that starts the video. Audiences often sing it with or to the members. I find this song, "For Youth" so emotional because what they seem to be singing about is their own youth and how it was given to their work, to their art, and the words are written directly for ARMY, the collective recipient of that gift. It is a song marking the end of an era. As Namjoon said in the FESTA video, they aren't kids anymore. Their love for ARMY won't change, but they are maturing and changing.....for the better, of course, but it is still bittersweet.

V's voice feels like a breath of fresh air to me 💜 All of them are Vocal Kings.. they always sound better live.. always !

The live you reacted to was the last performance they recorded for proof promotions. And on their debut anniversary too!! So at the end there you can tell they were a bit emotional.

The looks on all of their faces at the end were heart breaking now knowing that was the last live performance in front of ARMY for quite a while. It makes me tear up everything I see it. We'll be waiting for them to perform together again in the future. BTS forever, ARMY forever!

If you are Army you cannot get thru this song without crying....for me I think of Forever Wembley performance and then this song and I bawl every time

ARMY stands for "Adorable Representative MC for Youth" and since we are forever young (let's ignore the average age here😅), the song is dedicated to them.

I remember someone saying that Jhope started as a dancer before being a rapper, and that's why his flow is different and stands out from other rappers in general. Instead of "spitting" words, his flows are based on beat and melody and can be compared to dance moves ^^

I rewatch JK’s big part over and over.... Especially live on Proof live!! Soooo good!!

When they were poor rookies, ARMY sent them dishes, a rice cooker, and bedding. In more recent pics in their dorm you could see that they still use the dishes, soju cups, and have the same model rice cooker.

BTS dedicated this song to ARMY, their friends, their family, and all the staff members who have been there for them through the years. Fun fact; ARMY is an acronym and in the official government name is …….For Youth. So the song title is literally ARMY’s name.

While listening the song with you, I find laughs and smiles looking back your ROOM LIVE reaction :-) I think that was one of my favourite reactions: you saying, "That green guy doesn't want to dance or he doesn't like to dance, like me!" You were laughing with genuine smiles, which I liked a lot. And now you say, Taehyung and V, J-hope, and everyone's name without any hesitation. It feels like we're sitting on the same side watching the music together (though we still know the song wouldn't go to your favourite song list). It got me thinking what a healthy relationship can be, sometimes being able to share joyful and meaningful moments just as they are. As a baby ARMY, it's been quite emotional for me honestly wandering around searching for a consolation, which I know can't come from my family, colleagues or even friends as they know BTS only from the media. I appreciate your comforting words, which reached to me so warm today. "It's going to be okay and don't you worry" with smiles and big confidence that your little boy can rely on. (Not easy for me to put the feeling in words, but I hope you know :-) Thank you again, and let's look forward to listening to Suga's album!

This is my favorite song on this album. The fact that they used the Wembly ARMY in beginning showed how much they appreciated what wembly ARMY did speaks volumes.

It wasn't from Wembley though. You can hear J-Hope singing at the beginning which didn't happen during Wembley because they were surprised. Someone else said it was from one of their musters.

The introduction of the song is a surprise that ARMY gave them in the second night of the London Wembley Concert. It was breathtaking to hear 90 000 non korean speakers, singing "Forever Young" in korean just for them ( my first time singing korean), while they thought them tech team messed up the song it was to supposed to sound next. Some of them were in tears and they were all so emotional. This song is for ARMY, that day RM promised we will all together grow forever young, so it is a perfect intro for this song that talks about our 10 years friendship and memories.

This song is really about their own youth, their time as BTS. It’s a very emotional conversation with ARMY.

I remember your first BTS reaction. Not long ago. And now... it feels great to see you enjoying their songs and knowing them one by one. Nice.

This is more accurately a song for Army. The song refers to the relationship between BTS and army and what they meant to each other and what they've given and gotten from each other. You might like the live version of this that they recorded while they were in Las Vegas better with a live band and live backup singers with Anderson Paak as a guest drummer.

I've watched this live performance before, but now I actually cried for the first time. I guess it was because of the lyric breakdown. They always amaze me when it comes to their writing! I gotta say that Jungkook sounds AMAZING. They all do, but omg, those notes he reaches...

You have to check out the Proof live they filmed in the Las Vegas desert. This live version is absolutely out of this world and JKs adlibs on all the songs are pure fire

The word "Loyalty" doesn't really do justice to our emotions. Most of us, who are with them in everything they do, who gets happy when they smile, who feels something breaking in them when they cry, many of us are attached to them on some spiritual level. (And mind it, its not exaggerated. You will only understand this emotion, if you too feel it, otherwise it's just a dialogue) I remember a tweet, where there was a clip of Namjoon saying after a concert "go back home safely, we will meet you next time" and the op has captioned it with "where will I go? You are my home" I don't think there can be any other words to define what we feel for them. They have become our home. (Atleast my home) Thankyou so much for reacting to the song. This genre was not my cup of tea too. But Vminkook's part was keeping me here untill the song grew on me. And now I'm introduced to a new genre thanks to BTS 💜

i think this song is for their youth, and for ARMY (the true name of ARMY 😉). and this song is their last song before their hiatus. it feels so much like a goodbye song that’s why even up to now i still cry when i listen to it. but i guess it’s goodbye to youth (young age) but not to being young at heart. that’s why young forever was the song from the start. i love this song. you can hear how much they - bts - love this song also especially from their live performances. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥹🥹🥹🥹 ps that part of JK is my favorite too. i cry each time i hear it. and i also love each members parts but V, RMs and HObi stood out so much as well 💜😊💜

First I thought this song was for Army (and it can be too), but the more I hear it, the more I feel it is for themselves, for the strong relationship they grew up during all these years.
