If you zoom in on SUGA' s face, you will see the tears streaming down his face.

The video in black and white was from when they first performed the song, and the one in color was from the Wings tour in 2017. A little detail that I wanted to point out was that in the old performance, they faced each other and then turned towards ARMY, kind of like they were assuring themselves first of where they are and then thanking ARMY for what they've done. In the Wings performance, they start facing outwards to ARMY and then turn towards themselves in the end, like telling themselves that they've gone far but they're still the same boys who formed Bangtan in 2013. I love that detail so much I had to point it out 😅

i was about to comment this exact same explanation for the difference between the 2 performances .. their positions inwards and outward, you can imagine how they talk to themselves and ARMYs 💜😭 and if they sing this again on their upcoming concert, i dunno know how to function after 😭💜

Yep, this is obvious to us, that's why I usually don't recommend the stage mix one :/ since they miss many things (as the years mentioned)

MMA 2019 is the most epic performance in terms of production value, choreography, endurance, and pure talent. But Born Singer's live performance is the most emotionally raw and sincere performance. JK cries almost always when they sing this song. But how can he not when they are singing the song that tells their uphill battle? You can really feel their pain, their struggle, and their passion. Truly one of the best underdog stories ever 😭

Saw this and heard this song for the first time here. Now I know why this song is among the top in Army list. You really have to appreciate the lyrics and passionate delivery from the rap line they always coming thru real but man this one hit hard af. And the melody from the vocal line was angels. This. Is BTS.

This song is emotionally draining in the most fulfilling way possible. I still need a breather every time I hear it. Our hearts. 💜

I have heard their songs over and over! I cry, I still get chills and I love every moment. Why? A quick back story. I am a survivor of domestic violence. I was left disabled for life. I have suffered now for over 20 years with Chronic Pain. Of course I am a much older ARMY thanks to my daughter! Back in 2015/2016. BTS saved my life. All 7 of them!!! I will Love them all forever. 7 young men, made me want to fight for my life back then and everyday since. I still suffer badly, but on the times I feel as though I just can’t take it anymore, God and my 7 angels save me over and over! THANK YOU BTS! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

They had tears in their eyes when they all turn around.. We feel the pain too. Army will always with them.

No matter how many times I watch this live performance, I would still get emotional, 😢😢😢especially now that they gotten so BIG, dominating globally.. The hard work, the effort, the struggles and hardships are paying off. they deserve every single award, trophy and recognition they're getting.. They will add more to their 57 Daesangs 😎🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌💜

Rap line is my bias. I didn't even like rap until I met these wonderful angels. This song is beyond amazing and I can't wait for your premiere!!! We purple you Anthony 💜

There's a performance where Jungkook is crying at one point so it's not just you! 😭 I love when the rappers are telling a story because that's when we see performances like Outro Tear and Born Singer that just go so hard because of all the emotion driving it.

Love this song so much!! It was so heartfelt and emotional, I especially felt RM’s feelings and words. He got ridiculed more than the other members regarding his choices in the beginning of his career. I’m so happy that he and the rest hung in there and for filled their goals and dreams.. it was meant to be!!!!💕

The juxtaposition between the 2015 one and the 2017 one is beautiful. Like in 2015 they start facing each other then turn outward to the crowd. And in 2017 it's the other way around like comforting each other in the end. Beautiful.

Everytime I watch this video I always get teary-eyed cause it's about their life, their struggles and hardships, the people that belittle them because they are not famous and many people are mocking them and hating them because they are a threat to their favorite idols, and now they've come too far, those people who are hating on them I'm sure they envy BTS now, BTS is now on top of them and they can't stop them from dominating

Well, I'm a 71 yr old grandma from Chicago, aka Chi Town, and a music lover from way back. A Beatle baby......Backstreet Boys with my daughter, lover of R n B and Old School Rap. Been keeping track of the Boys since 2015 when I saw them on MNET in California visiting. First following Big Bang's G Dragon referred to as the Kings of K Pop and now BTS who are the Legends!!!!!!! My favorite song from their early days is Born Singer. They truly lay their hearts out, like no other time since. Keep on enjoying the wide range of BTS, you will always be surprised. Great show!

BTS is definitely a great example what is a TEAM. Yes, there is always one person that shine in the group and it destroys the teamwork but BTS don’t allow insecurities and they support each other.

Not me crying every freaking time when I see this live stage mix.. My biggest dream always was to go to AC/DC concert. Few years ago dream came true. After that I didn't have any big dreams. Just normal things. Have a family, job that I don't hate. But when I discovered BTS I really really want to see them live. I want to be a part of Purple Ocean 💜 If that day comes.
