Jimin is such a performer!! His dancing is so beautiful and fluidly, he's really like water, I love to watch him dance especially a little more free style!! Thank you for the bonus video 💜

He gets muscle pain quite often, but despite everything he still performs with everything he's got! I remember that he had his appendix surgery a month before their concerts in the states but he performed with full energy to satisfy army and most importantly himself, he's a perfectionist that doesn't give up until the work is done exactly how he imagined it to be, he's such an inspirational person and i really admire him a lot💜💜🥹!

5:04 it's not just this solo shoot, they mean the whole days shoot was long. It's only Jimin who has this solo choreo and it is because it is Jimin's contemporary style. And Jimin dances and records the whole MV with everyone else this day and the day before but on top of that Jimin had multiple solo choreography parts that they recorded here after he had also finishing recording with the rest of BTS. The others could go to the hotel he had to stay, do camera rehearsals and then recordings. If you watch more behind from this shoot you see that Jimin stays and does this extra choreo. + if you watch the choreo he does with the others he also then has special extra choreo parts different from the rest even when they are together.

I read a comment somewhere that said "jimin is poetry in motion", and I think that's the best way to explain his style of dancing, it's literally art, the amount of emotions he conveys through his movements and expressions alone is insane!

There is a shooting sketch or behind the scenes of the group and then there is this jimin's individual behind the scenes of jimins solo part from black swan. There is also another solo of orchestral version of jimin during mots concert and there is one group intro of orchestral version.

This MV is what sucked me the rest of the way in to BTS. I used to do lighting for dance and theatre and this is exactly the kind of thing I love, and I couldn't believe a K-pop group was doing it. I had noticed Jimin before and had pegged him as a dancer from how he held himself. This, though, is when I said "Ohhhhhh. He's a DANCER dancer." I love his lines and extension and how he uses his hands in various choreo, especially something like this or Butterfly - when he's part of a wing, you can see him stretch a tiny bit more after you think he's completed the move, sending it all the way through his fingertips. On top of all of that, he just has "it" to me. That thing I can't exactly explain but that comes to life when he's dancing.

8:45 Not really, not only we had the MMA 2019 but he would dance a little in variety shows and all!! Btw can't wait for you to watch MMA 2020, where they perform a little of Black Swan Orchestra version!! He also did a dance on Map of The Soul ON:E tour for the transition to Black Swan and it's SO GOOD!!

his surprise solo dance for black swan during bts' mots: on:e's online concert was stunning. it was right at the end of their black swan performance. jimin appeared and performed a solo improvised dance to end their performance. i'll never forget watching that live and i hope you guys watch it on your own time.

His balance is so good, many of those turns into a even fast move would put many dancers on their butt. The intricate small moves he uses sometimes get missed but add to the performance. AND can we take a moment and mention Jimin in that corset??? HOT and how is that even a fashion choice? Wow, it sure worked.

Black Swan was the song that pulled me in! Both Spring Day and Butterfly had a full group contemporary choreography. (Can be found in shows or as a dance practice on bangtanTV.) Fake Love beginning is contemporary. They tend to mix styles which keeps things fresh. (Oh, there is also a barefoot, live version of Black Swan on James Corden from Jan 2020.)

Thanks for this Jimin birthday surprise. He is so dances so beautifully in this. It's a must see. Not sure how many takes it took, but i bet it waa several hours long, which is why he was in pain and exhausted by the end. There was a show BTS was on, where RM said they didn't know Jimin danced contemporary because he never said or showed them. His dance for Butterfly is the only contemporary I can think of. There might be more. Can't wait till MMA 2020😂

I think they are going to do the MMA 2020 performance some time after they have watched Life Goes On in their cronological journey. They dont do live performances with title track songs they havent heard yet.😊
