The videos were superb. I had enjoyed traveling with these BTS Buses after I completed the studies and joined HMT. I used to travel a lot in BTS AND KSRTC Buses. Even today I remember those buses traveling to college and back. MYF1027, MYF1040, MYF1230, MYF954

When we were staying in MES ROAD and myself studying in SJRC College I used to travel by BTS Buses from BEL Circle. The buses were 271, 273, 274. The Buses were mostly Tata buses and were operated by Depot 1. The 274 and 275 were operated by Depot 2. It was enjoyable traveling by these buses.

Oh That's so nice even we stayed at MES Road. Then I think you might have remembered, Bus no 271D, which was my favourite bus, with carrier on top and wheels with cap. Wow those days were completely different and lovable and memorable

@@Godloves4ever Really that bus 271D of Depot 3. I remember travelling in that bus. For many years we travelled in that bus especially from Majestic at 8.45 pm. Even when I was residing in HMT Colony we travelled in 271D. That is nostalgic. Even today I travel mostly in KSRTC Buses to Kannur and Virajpete.

There's an strong emotion seeing those Red Buses, I used to Hold Dad Fingers in Bustop waiting for Bus, When too young Dad used to lift me up to bus stairs, My Father was working in KSRTC shanthinagar depo as Head Mechanic earlier days, Hence Most of Drivers/Conductors were known to him, He used to always stand on foot steps near front door and i was right behind Driver holding chair observing How Driver puts gear Accelerates, Brakes, Love that sound from old BTS bus, 😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪 daaamn u made my day bro Sunil tnx a ton for these picz/screenshots 🙏🙏

Welcome, Prashanth. First of all, good to hear you're the son of the BTS/BMTC crew. Crew standing on the footsteps on the front door was the most common scene in those days, in fact, it's the most enjoyable place to stand on the bus. I as a child used to stand behind the driver seat during BTS days.

👌👌👌👍. @ 2:00 I recall my memories of those ACGL built TATA pushpaks. The first batch of ACGL built Tatas came into Depot-8(Yeshwanthpura). Since the Pushpak services were operated on General shift, the buses used to come out of depot one behind the other 7am. It used to be an eye-catching scene. It used to be like watching a BTS rally. The line up would split at IISc(Tata institute) circle🥰🥰🥰

@@sunilclikz2230 ,The ACGL series started from KA01F398 (D8). F405,F406,F407 & F408 were all allocated to P5 (BSK 3rd Stage 3rd Phase - KBS). All were brand new ACGL from D8 and used to start at 8AM and wind up by 6PM. These buses had limited stops viz., BSK 3rd Stage 3rd Phase, Bank Colony, Nirmala Stores, Ashrama, Goodshed Road. Used to be 1.5x the cost and would complete a single trip in flat 30 mins due to limited stops.

I still remember no 300 bus .It was year 1988 I guess.I am ksrtc bus fan of both kerala an karnataka bus😊

Wowww what a lovely nostalgic video uploaded. I loved those buses like crazy. Infact whenever the bus used to arrive at my place Thindlu Vidyaranyapura from majestic. I used to rush out of my home to take a look at these Beauty. Especially when the bus used to return from FC after a long gap of 15-30days. The new paint and the aroma of the paint of the bus and additional fittings like side indicators, etc. Now also I remember one bus route no 276, this bus used to be feast to the eyes especially during night as this one particular bus used to run all lights (extra light fittings in front portion of the bus alongside indicators with different colours) lit. The bus used to run illuminated completely. And it was like I used to keep on looking at this bus until it was out of my sight. And also I became more crazy and fan of the bus with the carrier and wheel caps. It simply used to look awesome and amazing. Thanks a lot bhai from the bottom of the heart for bringing forth this refreshing videos.

Thanks for sharing your experiences sir, I too had a similar thought as you have mentioned. The aroma of paint from a brand-new bus or from a bus after FC was excellent. Miss them.

In mid 70's i remember BTS had Road Train ( TATA bus not usual read colour but some grey colour unfortunately i am able to get the photos with two conductors with a traditional bell 🔔! S

Thanks pal I just visited banglore once in the early 90s and fell in love with both BTS and KSRTC state transport buses. Love thier simple bus body design and livery. Red and Yellow and Red and Silver livery with Tata and Leyland unique cowls
