@@QofyReacts They never said hiatus, it was a mistranslation (official source Hybe).. They are still working both on solo and group projects.. They will just less appear on cameras for interviews or media shows, except their own show Run BTS which will continue.

@@QofyReacts in music industry hiatus doesnt mean break so bts didnt use the word hiatus so its also the wrong word to use. other bands have said hiatus and never came back so bts were careful not to use such words but the translators didnt translate correctly and media ran with the word. namjoon posted a letter on weverse and hes annoyed with media twisting their words. theyre all releasing solo albums then will come back as a group. starting next month jhope will release his album so its probably not gonna be a long time. maybe 2 years also depends on their military service. but they keep telling us theyre not breaking up and theyre only taking a break from group music not group activities.

kindly keep in mind *_BTS is not disbanding,_* but focusing more on solo projects💜 LESS group performance, but more upcoming solo performances from each member starting with Hobi! we don't know exactly when we'll get the contents, but they're still planning to keep the Run BTS show which means they're still pretty much together anyway~ the word 'hiatus' or 'break' seemed very negative, but since this is Bangtan we're talking about so I trust them wholeheartedly. we all know they're still polishing their craft AND so far Bangtan hasn't shown their 100% YET. each member has their distinctive style and they need to explore themselves more individually so they can come back with fresher creativity in mind! So yeah, once again, *_the best is yet to come~_*

hiatus really has a negative connotation in the west this is why the company had to clarify yesterday itself THEY ARE NOT DISBANDING its just an off period from their group music activities and focusing more on solo activities they would still be doing other group activities too just hiatus as in group musical aspect. 7 solo albums are coming we will be fed than ever actually im looking forward

So there's 7 new solo albuns coming and a new chapter. Jin and Suga are going soon to the army and we just have to wait, serene and happy for them. 💜

Well I was expecting 1 album but now I'm getting 7. I'm happy. They already have so much music but gotta admit I missed the days where we were swimming in new music. The more I think on this the more I agree with Hobi. This is really needed at this stage. Chapter 2 is gonna be incredible.

They are not disband, but temporary hiatus (in music group term). But they say they still continue their variety show as BTS (run BTS). For music, they will focus for solo project and some sub unit projects. They will comeback as whole group again someday. Jungkook went live a few hours ago to clarify and clear the disbandment rumor that so many media platforms have been spreading...in his words he said "First of all, we(BTS) still have a lot of group schedule to do. We don't have any thoughts of disbandment. BTS will be forever". To get a better understanding of their direction as a group, if you are interested ,I suggest you watch(either on your own or react to it on the channel) their 2020 Festa Dinner. It's an hour long video where they had a very genuine and heartfelt talk among themselves and to ARMYs as to what direction they are takin as a group and why they are taking that direction. It was a heartbreaking experience for me as it was my first Festa as a fan...they were going through so much but they bottled things up because they didn't want to disappoint us, but on that dinner they opened up so much.

there was a lot of commotion and confusion yesterday, maybe because of a bad edition or a bad translation, in the English and Spanish translation Jk said I quote "We're each going to take some time to have fun and experience lots of things We Promise we Will return sometime Even more Matute than we are now. So I hope You Could give us your blessing " for anyone who doesn't speak korean the message that was given in the translation is that they were going to be on a break from the group (not Disband but a break) and there were several points referring to this pause, of course it caused a stir among ARMY after Hybe made a statement that this had been a misinterpretation and a mistranslation.

They didn't even said they going on hiatus. The festa dinner literally mistranslate what Yoongi said. Even RM released a letter regarding how outsider misconstrued their words from the video that was only for army. The guy sound pissed. Even JK had a vlive yesterday to clarify that no. 1 they are not in hiatus as a grp and 2 never had any thoughts of disbanding (he said they doing alot of grp activities such as BTS run). Please stop applying the western mentality to the boys. Never they even said they having a break as a grp moreso they just focusing more on their individual works while still doing grp works. That video was taken out of context as they are crying and sharing their true feeling, thoughts and vulnerability from the past year. W/ this kind of media treatment they received. I am afraid in the future they will not even share how they feel.

They are absolutly not disbanding, they are first will release their solos projects in order and for the first time with full promos and physical albums versions (their previous mixtapes wasn't promoted a lot, wasn't available on korean platforms and hadn't any physical versions).
