Magic shop is a place that BTS created. It’s a safe place for Army’s to escape to and seek refuge through their hard or sad times. It’s the idea of them giving back to Army’s “you gave me the best of me, so you’ll give you the best of you” is like them saying thank you and I hope you find like a sense of escape through our music. how you interpret magic shop is up to you. and yall were right! all the rapline's verses refers to how they overcame their struggles because of the army. and the song itself is essentially made as a fan song for the army. so the "so show me" part is sung by bts, and the "i'll show you" part is sung by the fans at the concert.

The lyrics "you gave me the best of me so you'll give you the best of you" is so magical. its like BTS were saying "you gave your best to me that's why I'm here living my dreams, its time to give your best for your self too" I'm not crying. you are

This song is basically a song for army who are struggling. The song opens with "I know that you’re hesitating because even if you say the truth In the end it will all return as scars I’m not going to say anything blatant like “find strength” I will let you hear my story, let you hear it" Which basically means I know you are scared to tell someone that you are suffering (whether from mental illness, a traumatic event, etc) because people will then forever see that when they look at you, like a scar. They go on to say I know saying "find strength" isn't helpful so im going to tell you my story and hope you find comfort in that. RM continues to talk about how army may feel worthless but a couple years ago he felt like there was no hope and it wasn't possible that he would get to where he is now but army are the ones who helped him. He says "You're the last reason for me who was standing at the edge of a cliff" Which could either mean him wanting to giving up or more of a literal meaning of him being suicidal or both. The prechorus talks about making a door in your heart to a room called the Magic Shop. Basically saying whenever scared or feeling worthless go to this "room" or happy place where you feel safe. The chorus goes on to talk about watching the milky way and drinking tea. Make yourself comfortable and the room will always save you. The song basically goes on to have each member tell their story. Comparing themselves to others, feeling worthless, losing hope. In the end it is meant to say we've been there. We know what it is like and look where we are now and you are the reason we are here. So don't lose hope in yourself. In the end they say "You gave me the best of me So you give you the best of you You'll find it the galaxy inside you" Meaning army made us believe in ourselves so take that and use it to help you believe in yourself. And eventually you will see how amazing you are. The finally completely end the song with the reoccurring lyric "So show me Ill show you" Which leads back to the idea that you helped me so much and now I'm going to turn it around and give you your own advice

Magic Shop is a fan song, written by Jk for ARMYs. ARMYs are their Magic Shop. When things get hard and difficult, they can think of ARMYs as their support and love and escape from their worries. This song is actually for ARMYs. basically Magic Shop is like a safe haven for ARMYs that we can go to when we're feeling down or needed some support, it's basically their music. Bcos they're always giving us this deep meaning lyrics that is full with love, support, and many other things that is so close to the heart. So when we listen to their song, if we feel like nobody's here for us and feel all alone no one to talk or relate to, know that they're here to support us. Basically the "u gave me the best of me, so u'll give u the best of u" means like we are able to give them (bts) the best of theirselves, so if we ever feel insecure or think "i cant do this anymore" or anything like that they're telling us that we hv the strength inside of us that will help us go through anything we're facing, just like the strength we hv when we were supporting them. I love hearing how others interpret good music. It speaks to our souls in the individual ways we each need, so we take away different ideas/thoughts. The artist may have started with a different intention or meaning, but it ends up being a collaboration with the listeners to find the "true"' meaning for them. Some songs you really don't want to hear the original meaning, like the beautiful love song that started out as a song praising the song writer's dog (& dog kisses & soft hair as he pats its head)🤣💜

The song is for army. The magic shop is this hypothetical place for armys to go when they need comfort. Its says kinda like look into your heart and there we'll be there for you. It was made by BTS to give back to Armys. "You gave me the best of me so you'll give you the best of you" is like them saying how important we are to them, so we can be important to ourselves, even if we feel like we are worthless and unloved, BTS will know we are someone. And this could be applied to more than army. Like what you said, music. It gives this sense of comfort to many many people and its like a safe house for them. I believe "Magic Shop" which is based on a novel, is a metaphor. It's a place where you can trade in something from your past that symbolizes your past filled with despair, loneliness, no hopes or dreams, and receive in return an object that symbolizes future hopes, dreams, wants, & desires. It actually is a song meant for army to come to BTS and trade off your past sorrows and receive hope, dreams and everything positive in return! But it's also acknowledging & thanking Army for giving BTS all the positive energy, all the hopes & dreams as well. BTS always wants to give back as well! BTS = ARMY. Better then an MV is to see this performance live when Army sings along Show Me, I'll Show You. It's quite powerful to hear a whole stadium chanting that in response to BTS "Show Me"! When BTS performs this live in concert, and they say “so show me” and ARMYs reply “I’ll show you” it becomes so emotional and touching that some of us literally cry. And they say “you gave me the best of you, so you’ll give YOU the best of you”.. For me Magic Shop is a place for ARMY and BTS it's inside our heart where we can comfort each other. It's just think and our heart will open to the Magic Shop whenever we are sad.

Magic shop is a song to ARMYs

Magic Shop isn’t just a fan song wherein they say how thankful they are for the fans. It’s more of them, BTS, stretching their arms to give the ARMY the comfort and company they long for, especially on times of hardships and sadness. BTS’ inviting us to make a space for ‘Magic Shop’ in our hearts and asking us to feel and think that they are INSIDE that place, waiting for us to tell our burdens to them (just like how ARMYs do it for them). BTS knows that even ARMYs get trapped in personal struggles and troubles at times, hence the line, “So show me, I’ll show you”, which can be interpreted as “show me your scars, tell me your problems, and I’ll tell you mine”. “You gave me the best of me, so you give you the best of you” tells us that ARMYs have showered BTS with all the love every time they need it and now it’s time for ARMYs to do the same by loving themselves. Honestly I can't listen to magic shop sometimes cause the feels hit me to hard and I have to pause and wait for myself to be okay. But sometimes I just can't get through it but I love this song so much so I always want to listen to it. It's tough to be honest.
