💜 “IDOL” is a celebration of BTS and all they’ve come to stand for. It has an interesting mix of traditional Korean rhythms from percussion instruments such as the ggwenggari, jing and janggu, and South African house music beats. Pdogg and Supreme Boi wrote most of Idol for BTS. Some words need an explanation:
Ur-soo is a sound you make out of excitement (or to make it more exciting) when you’re singing or dancing to traditional music in Korea.
Jihwaja is a sound that functions similarly to ur-soo, boosting the mood of performers or viewers with traditional music played in the background.
Deonggiduck Koongdeoreoreo is a traditional Korean music beat.

💜 My goal is to deliver English subtitles that are correctly translated, and easy to read and understand, whilst not being an element that disturbs or irritates you.
But I cannot make the rappers rap slowly ;)
💜 Regardless of the translation source for the subtitle, I also search for information about the meaning of the song and the lyrics. I fix errors, sync the subtitles to the video and replace words or sentences that need a better translation to make it easier to understand and/or follow the subtitles.
💜 I work on creating subtitles for BTS videos so that we can understand the songs better, as the lyrics are a big part of BTS music. I know a subtitle, as an option to turn on, will make people enjoy BTS more. Any advertising revenue is paid to the copyright holder, usually HYBE (Big Hit Entertainment), and not to me.

Not trying to drag any other groups down, ik they all work hard but broóoo....The stage presence bts has, it's really hard to find these days, i mean BTS don't just perform, they interact with the audience to with their performance....and idols these days don't even bother to sing live--

@@weird04 I'm not BTS stan, but she is somewhat right BTS aren't overrated they actually worked hard and made kpop internationally famous i listen to aespa, txt, newjeans, lesserafim, straykids, exo, BI, Etc. but i found kpop through bts.. so the door was opened by bts, and now every new artist becomes famous so soon..bc of that..

To all new Army that hasn't been able to experience attending a BTS concert, you do not know the dynamic between the family consisting of BTS and the Army. We are a family that has bonded since their debut in 2013 to now. That means all the hard and reject treatment our guys received we were right there giving them our support and words of motivation from love. Army is a unique fandom. At the concerts these guys make you feel love for their Army through the expressive sounds in their vocals you can feel their love warm your heart. This song, IDOL, is a perfect example of what BTS brings to the world, love yourself. No one can stop me from loving myself and all the haters out there you're insignificant. Army, you must change your conduct thus far. When the leader of BTS and Army, Kim Namjoon, says in a live that Army has changed and to remember it's all about love, man, Namjoon has spoken and has said it all. The new younger Army does not act like Army. They are toxic, rude, disrespectful. They fight with other Army. They fight with other fandoms and that's not who we are Namjoon noticed it. You are joining a very special fandom that has existed for a long time before you all came in everyone is welcomed but watch your conduct. You want to join Army, BTS' fandom and not attempt to create a different fandom. At the concerts, Army makes friends with Army from all over the world. Exchange phone numbers and stay in contact forever. There is no negative conduct, no hate, we follow the lead of BTS in spreading love to the world. Please join the existing Army in sharing love this world already has a lot of ugliness. 🤌🏼🫶🏼💜

Yes. Spread this message far and wide. I'm wondering if some of these 'Armys' are actually anti-fans pretending to be Army... Otherwise I can't understand why they would keep doing something the boys don't like. Just one thing though - you don't need to have been to a concert to be a real Army. Not everyone is lucky enough to go - I joined the fandom in 2019 and thanks to covid I never got to see them perform live. There are many others like me, but we're still real Army. It's your behaviour that makes you real, fake or toxic, not whether you've been to a concert.
